Big Giant Warehouse sells canned goods, frozen foods, sundries and other household items at deeply discounted prices because the items are over expiration date, or came from stores that went out of business. You may not feel comfortable purchasing certain items that are over expiration date (I know I didn't feel comfortable purchasing 29 cent Lunchables that were a year over expiration), but canned goods last forever and frozen foods have a much longer shelf life. I was able to get aluminum foil for 49 cents, canned veggies for 49 cents each and a box of 20 granola bars for a little over $2.00. I believe they are open from 10am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. Maybe I can take my grocery savings and go out for dinner once a week now!

I recently went here for some Christmas shopping and I appreciate the selection of purse stores and box lunch for cartoon/anime accessories. They do have a cafeteria area that has a couple shops to get food and drinks. I've never eaten there, but I did try the boba before. It was good, but you can't adjust the sweetness on the drinks. I love that they have some neat areas with large heaters that look like flames. We came here and warmed up a couple times while shopping. There are plenty of parking spots scattered around the outlet mall. I like to park behind Columbia store. I feel like no one ever parks there. There are good sales around the holidays, so go check them out.

This year, 2023, a gentleman named Tim took over running the store and has COMPLETELY turned it around! It is now so clean, organized, well stocked and friendly! You couldn't get down most of the aisles before without tripping over things, it was an ADA nightmare no way someone in a wheelchair could get around in there. Now the aisles are clear! Tim greets you with a smile and a kind word and cares so much about your shopping experience. I was in there today and speaking with him and an older Hispanic woman came in and he greeted her in Spanish and carried on a conversation with her in Spanish which was so wonderful to see the inclusion and love for all people of different backgrounds and cultures. Which is not common in this area. I am so grateful this gentleman Tim came in and took over this store. He leads his team with kindness and confidence. I hope dollar general knows and values what an amazing store manager they have. Great job Tim and thank you for all your hard work!

(Furthermore, Yukon always strikes us as kind of low end and DEFINITELY Republican Fundieville, ya know?) That said, our favorite animal shelter is out there, and my dad lives in nearby Mustang. As a result, we'll usually stop by this Big Lots location when we're out in Canadian County. We love this place, and are especially fond of coming here to find European foods that we can't find almost anywhere else (least of all for reasonable prices!) in central Oklahoma. We've found German chocolate-covered lebkuchen, English meringue cookies, big Baltic herring, really good Polish sauerkraut, delicious Danish jams, tasty Czech pickles, Slovenian hibiscus tea sachets, and all other kinds of other delicious European foods here. (Seriously -- check out the food aisles in detail. You'll be mightily surprised.) Not a fan of Yukon in general? Not to worry -- neither are we.
