My best store experiences come from the Deli and the way all the deli operators treat their customers. Yesterday, I was greeted by Phil and he took care of my order. You could never meet a nicer person than Phil. He's a true professional in all that he does. The meats are always cut to perfection, and the deli is always clean or being cleaned. The staff pitches in to help one another and they all work so well together. I would love to join that team of people...they are all so great and so helpful. Every person that works here has been nothing but nice, helpful and great customer service. I found Aisle 9- through word of mouth from some ladies I know where I work. I had been complaining that the fruit I was getting at a local market was really subpar. They insisted I give Aisle 9 a try and went on and raved about it- they do their weekly shopping here because it is very close to where they live, I asked about the produce and if they had a bakery, and they they said they cakes and pastries were really good, so more about the bakery later. They have a deli that really is amazing with ready meals, they have some of the best stuffed cabbage rolls from a deli, that I have ever had in my life! and I have eaten a lot of cabbage rolls in my life. They also have a paper products, party section, and I bought the most beautiful plastic wine glasses for a picnic, that I was taking my Hubby to for our Anniversary. So I I started shopping here back in December, the produce is fantastic and they have fresh figs, not that dried figs are not good, they are, but fresh is always better. I really like the fresh fruit cups for lunch time, they are the perfect size. During the summer months fresh cut fruit trays are a must and they have plenty of variety here, but in winter months when fruit is more expensive and hard to get, they have beautiful displays and reasonable pricing, which in these hard time, that speaks volumes to a budget. So let's talk bakery.. they have some of the most beautiful specialty cakes, they are little bit pricey, but for the quality and taste, I cannot complain nothing is wasted my family loves them. I really like the Challah bread here, I often buy mine closer to home, Rte 9, but I tend to get there late sometimes and miss out. Deli section has the usual cold cuts I think again quality reigns supreme. I just look at the weekly update online and gage my menu for the week. They have the usual pickles and olives and my MINI-ME is all about pickles, it would a horrific day, if she went to the fridge and couldn't find her favorite pickles, so there is that. They also have sushi, but I have not tried as of yet. Knowing they were closed till 1:00 PM for Tish a Bav I don't know why he scheduled me for Sunday morning. When I call at 1 when the store opened, I asked him why he scheduled me at 10 AM for the interview and he hangs up on me. When I call back he says turns out we don't need anyone for that position and hangs up again. Unprofessional my interview never happened. Piece of garbage.

Produce sections has really gone south so to speak. Avocados have fingernail gouges, the lettuce is brown, there is barely walking area, don't get me started on the meat section or that they decided to move everything around- which is fine, change it to try to keep shoppers in longer.. but OPEN ALL THE SELF CHECK OUT STANDS OKAY!!!!!!!! ALso, this whole new section for cosmetics and stuff- when I need to buy anything in that section, I also have to pay for it before I can continue on my way to other parts of the store!! and hold on to that precious receipt. Look I get it costs are high everywhere, but this is getting ridiculous and the inventory is lacking and when they are restocking- why are the pallets in the walkways? the aisles, everywhere, its like massive u-turns every where I am heading, I cannot be the only one feeling this way. The genius monitoring the area wouldn't let anyone use the completely empty lane reserved for their Sparks Delivery Drivers who apparently shop for you and deliver (and put away) your food purchases inside your home. That's a big no thank you... but back to my original point. Even though no driver was using the reserved lane the min-wage sentinel refused to let anyone use it. I love employees with zero autonomy and less common sense. Keep it up Walmart. One sparkless star.

The Kings Hawaiian Philly Cheesesteak sliders were terrible. There was nothing "Philly Cheesesteak" about them. Just a little piece of meat and a little shredded cheese. No onions or peppers or enough cheese. The 6ft Italian sub came with no condiments other than two TINY bottles of balsamic dressing and the bread was hard. The Spinach dip in a bread bowl was also a huge disappointment. They only sliced the dipping bread, I had to cut it into chunks myself and there was maybe 12 ounces of actual dip. For almost $30 they should give you an additional container of dip. I threw out so much bread when the dip ran out. I'm so glad I also ordered from Wegmans in Manalapan. Their catering was by far superior.

This is the Garden State for goodness sake, support your local farmers.. NOW is as good a time as any to get acquainted with Puglisi Egg Farm. This family owned local farm has been in business since 1950 and the customer service is top notch. I mean it's still family owned business!! not just a name its pride in what they provide to families, good eggs. I got 2 dozen Grade A Extra Large Eggs - I made a beautiful quiche with some, hard boiled others for tasty egg salad sandwiches and the balance I made wasabi deviled eggs- Delicious. Weather is beautiful now, stop on in and get some eggs, you will be glad you did.
