It's a real adventure in all sorts of ways, but like driving with your shirt off in summer, it can be liberating. I would steer clear of the dry goods, but have gotten some good candy and beverages. You never know what kind of stuff you will find amongst the other goods. The workers are all very nice and they are helpful to people in the community who are struggling. This store can be a fun little exploration. I try not to eat candy, but who can resist when you can get it four bars for a dollar??? Twizzlers, rice krispie treats, hundred grand bars, sour straws, power bars, they suck me in!!!! HELP!!! I'm going native. :)

Tech items are worth a comparison online, tho usually competitive for open-box gear. Many $5 clothes now too. Love the staff, always a humored, witty help! -1/2 star for moths in dry grains (don't store them for long) -1/2 star manager refusal to honor price on items (sure, margins are small- but jacking up the price AT the register does not endear you to anyone, is technically illegal) Bring a bag, fill up on coffee, cake-mix & cosmetics CHEAP!

You will see Ollie's bucktooth grin along with funny sayings all over the store. In 1994 the company started their loyalty program called Ollie's Army which you can sign up for on their website. For every $1 you spend, you get one point. Points move you up the rank and earn you discount coupons off your purchase. According to the company, Ollie's Army get you "good stuff...even cheaper". Currently there are 408 stores in 28 states, several of which are in Florida. Ollie's purchases company liquidations, overstocks, and older items that haven't sold, and resells them in their stores for a discount. You can expect to see name brand items. Ollie's sells a little of everything, cleaning supplies, garden items, books, toys, food, health and beauty, automotive, holiday decorations, home improvements, electronics, flooring, housewares, and so much more. I had previously shopped in the West Palm Beach and Delray stores and they were great for stocking up on hurricane supplies. Ollie's always has a ton of inexpensive K-cups and cheap and unusual snacks. I usually grab some candy as incentives for the kids at school. On this trip I found the snack size bags I use to pack portion controlled snacks for my school lunches. This is the kind of store where you come in for one thing and pretty soon you have a cart full of stuff. Check back often because the merchandise changes frequently and you will always find something new.

I'll start by saying I love this store! Great prices, good…read morestuff cheap, honestly my favorite place to do a lot of my shopping. Easily the best place to go for affordable home goods, rugs, even some clothes, random food items and especially for holiday shopping or any kind of gift shopping. The store has been more organized recently - good job on that end, employees! Now, on to the criticism... Recently every time I've been in here, I've been hearing the employees complaining very loudly about how they want to quit, can't wait to leave, etc. It's really beginning to show in their attitudes on the job. The last time I went the lady Trisha was so rude. My husband commented lovingly on how she shared the same name has his sister (who is deceased, by the way) and she scoffed at him. She was cursing loudly and proudly on the job, a surefire sign of serious unprofessionalism. I get that you hate your job but when you're being paid to be at a location, the least you can do is hold your tongue to all of the foul words you consider saying and work the job with a good attitude. If there's one thing I've learned through my years working similar jobs in my youth, it's that you should never take your home troubles and bring them into your work attitude. She was very unpleasant, short tempered, and absolutely pissed off to have anyone shopping in this Ollie's Outlet. Of course, I love Ollie's so I'll bear through it. Another time, I was ringed up incorrectly and when I pointed out that my discounts never came off, a different lady showed me a lot of attitude in trying to fix it. There are some sweet folks who work here - I'm not saying all of them are bad. But recently I've really been noticing how negative the work environment has become there. Some of the employees really need to show up to work and just have a good attitude. Some are fine. Either way I love this Ollie's and I'll come back, but it has been pretty bad on that end recently. I would give this 5 stars but a star is getting knocked off for a handful of the employees issues, and if I keep showing up and these issues continue spiraling down, I'll come back and knock another star off.

I had never heard of Gabe's until they took over this spot but they have been around since the 60's and started in West Virginia. They have locations throughout Eastern US and acquired Old Time Pottery a couple of years ago. You will notice many items with Old Time Pottery labeling which is a little confusing. The store feels massive inside, even though it is likely the same square footage as OTP. You can view all 4 walls walking in. Overall, it reminded me of a Ross crossed with a Walmart but cheaper. They have a variety of departments at inexpensive prices. Shoes, clothing, indoor and outdoor home decor, kitchen, household organization, rugs, pet supplies, electronics and toys. They also had name brand items like Nike and Ryka at very low prices. It's a bit overwhelming because it is so massive but I appreciate the variety all in one store. Staff could not be found anywhere on the floor so if you have questions, you likely need to go to the checkout area. I didn't buy anything today so not sure how efficient the checkout lanes are but plan to come back when I have more time.

It is a large retail outlet similar to Marshall's, Ross or Beall's Home Centric. They have great prices and carry closeouts from many other retail chains. The Orlando area location is Ocoee which is at the corner of West Colonial and Maguire road. Just a few blocks off the SR 50 exit on the FL Turnpike. I noticed brands from Kohl's, Target, Loft, Ann Taylor, Lucky's, Bebe, Lands End, Lane Bryant, Banana Republic, Gap and many others carried by Ross and Marshall's. The brand names on tags are sometimes blacked out or the brand name may be cut out of the tag. I did see Adidas, Reebok and Avis but I did not see designer brands. They have many departments in this store. Clothing, luggage, purses, shoes, accessories and some personal care. Bed and bath, home decor, patio, kitchen, rugs and food items. They have clearance signs in all departments. They have a good rewards program called 'unbelievable Rewards.' Gabe's is discontinuing their text program in Sept 2025 however customers can get alerts and deals through the Gabe's app. I would recommend signing up for rewards beforehand or at the register checkout. You get 25 points for signing up and every $50 in points generates a $5 coupon. Coupons expire in 30 days. Coupons can be used towards clearance merchandise. The service was friendly both on the sales floor and at checkout. I purchased Vera Wang, Croft and Barrow, Loft, Bandolino, Land and Sea, A New Day (Target), Banana Republic and Hanes multipacks. 6 tops, two pants and two intimates for $40. I earned a $5 coupon on my first shopping trip. Positives: Price Selection Rewards are easy to earn Friendly staff and easy parking Fun for bargain shoppers The rug department they had tables where you can unroll rugs to examine them. Cons: This is an outlet so the racks and displays lend themselves to a little digging Rewards coupons are limited to 30 a year but 30 times 50 is a 1500 spend 3 try on rooms per gender
