For those that are feeding their horses a mix of Orchard and Alfalfa, I highly recommend the local orchard, it has a hefty yield of alfalfa mixed in for a great price point! They frequently have "sale alfalfa" super cheap too, so thats the time to stock up! As far as grains and livestock supplies, they are competitive in pricing and I have never had an issue with them being out of stock of any of the specialty grains I use (Triple Crown Low Starch, Ultium Competition, Amplify, etc) They also have a full interior retail area with clothing, tack, and all the goodies. It's not only that it is pretty much the only option outside going to Lockeford or ALLLL THE WAY to Lodi, but the prices are great and Sauleman (one of the main cashiers) is just the nicest guy I have ever met that worked in convenience. The gas price isn't ideal unless you are almost out of gas and can't make it to 99, but it's nothing to complain about given the distance from Lodi. I get gas there if I am going to Stockton rather than Lodi and have no real complaints about its price. The beer prices are what you go for, they have a decent amount of single beer (24oz 32oz and 40oz) for good prices, their liquor is neither here nor there though. Currently there is a Mexican restaurant connected to it with a joined breeze way that makes good food, but the prices again are not ideal unless you don't want to drive all the way to Lodi, then it's the only good Mexican food for miles.

I love stopping here on the way to Kirkwood!! I decided to go to lockeford Mini Storage where I went through what any family hopes not to go through. After I fell very sick as I have anticoagulant lupus I was not able to run my online store causing me to fall 3 months behind. I am a firm believer of pay your own way so I don't feel good or entitled when I know I owe money but one thing I did feel was determined to get them their money so I felt better knowing I made things right. Well I got the full amount the morning of the auction on March 18. I had until 10am to pay. The nightmare became my reality when the manager of the facility wouldn't allow me to pay a partial and head down to put the cash in her hand or on my card to make full payment before the 10am deadline. 9:38 to 9:59 she argued with me, hung up on me, belittled me, and lied to me, by the time I made it there and to wait for the cops the lady said I could buy it for the amount I owed to them from the person who bought mine and my daughter's only belongings we had left after losing our home we rented for 4 years to the county after the landlord failed to pay the permits on the property so once again my world fell apart and we have nothing left. She could of just taken my money but instead she decided to breach her on contract and make me suffer. I didn't even receive a letter of declaration to respond which legally I am supposed to have and to top it off the slap in the face was my important documents weren't returned but two boxes with some family photos thrown in mixed with garbage and a letter addressing the fact they didn't open my box:( talk about a nightmare. I still can't get the day out of my head. I lost so much of my life and my daughter has lost her clothes her toys:(. I really really can't believe the way I was treated even though I still had the time to pay her. Be careful what you store and where. Some if us don't have a choice but if you do don't store everything you have because they don't care.:( Now I have to go through the courts to get justice but it doesn't replace the sentimental things
