The first thing that struck me was it was clean and items were attractively stocked. The owners are onsite and are friendly, helpful and engaging. it's obvious this store is run with pride. I've purchased several items but my favorite is the blackberries. They were really fresh, moist and sweet-- rivaling past purchases in town yet competitive with WalMart prices. We…read morecame in here for provisions- they have an ample produce section, but I couldn't believe some of these produce prices! 97 cents for a lime? Seriously?! Whoa. The aisles were big and wide, and some of them had slightly wavy aspects to the shelves. However, even with the super wide aisles, they still had one-way signs on the aisles, like that stopped anyone from doing anything. I was happy to see that they had a deep selection of local foods! They had a variety of Cackalack Carolina BBQ sauce, which I enjoyed! This store also has a pretty big alcohol selection! They had a vast array of local craft beers from the area, and across the state. They offered a bunch of single beers, and variety packs which is perfect if you're just looking to get a sampling. Their wine selection also included a North Carolina section, which I was happy to check out! They offered other services, like rug doctors and ice and such. Their deli was pretty big, as was the bakery. I was blown away by some of the prices they charge on their produce, but their selections of products that I'd never seen before made up for the high prices. In order to get the best prices, you have to fill out a membership card, which is sort of a pain. If you opt out of the card, prices can go up more than 15%.

I just needed two things when I walked in and managed to find them quickly. The store is laid out as Walmarts are supposed to be laid out and all of the shelves are well stocked.
