The aisles were big and wide, and some of them had slightly wavy aspects to the shelves. However, even with the super wide aisles, they still had one-way signs on the aisles, like that stopped anyone from doing anything. I was happy to see that they had a deep selection of local foods! They had a variety of Cackalack Carolina BBQ sauce, which I enjoyed! This store also has a pretty big alcohol selection! They had a vast array of local craft beers from the area, and across the state. They offered a bunch of single beers, and variety packs which is perfect if you're just looking to get a sampling. Their wine selection also included a North Carolina section, which I was happy to check out! They offered other services, like rug doctors and ice and such. Their deli was pretty big, as was the bakery. I was blown away by some of the prices they charge on their produce, but their selections of products that I'd never seen before made up for the high prices. In order to get the best prices, you have to fill out a membership card, which is sort of a pain. If you opt out of the card, prices can go up more than 15%.

I just needed two things when I walked in and managed to find them quickly. The store is laid out as Walmarts are supposed to be laid out and all of the shelves are well stocked. Anytime there's an issue with the self check out or any other, they act annoyed. It's bad for the employees together at the front door and hotbox cigarettes for customers to have to walk through and breathe. Clerks are completely unaware of any items that are included in the sales even though signs are posted all around the store. The only response they can give is " I don't know". The shelf says something is 3.75, it will definitely ring up at least five dollars at the register. That is literally illegal but they know that very few people are really gonna challenge yet because we hardly ever go in that store, any of us, unless we need something in the moment. They are always extremely understaffed, which probably explains the disinterest and dissatisfaction the employees clearly possess. Sadly, this is just about the only place in the valley to purchase anything unless you stop in at a gas station. I really really wish it would step up its game a wee bit get a manager in there who would take some pride and interest in that and not hide so they're not to be bothered. You're lucky if you see anybody in that store, and you're extremely lucky if there's a clerk at the cash register. Boxes in all the isles. I have compassion for the employees who do work there, because I know they can't do it all by themselves. bottom line, it is so understaffed it doesn't have a chance, and the people they are clearly have no pride in their jobs.

We found everything needed for a great charcuterie platter, plus had some soup, wine, and local handmade soda for a little dine in snack. The soup was great (vegan Brunswick stew I believe) and customer service was superb. It was fun to see the neighborhood regulars pop in and out on a blissful snow day.
