They have the best key lime pie in town. So, I usually have one of those in my freezer. Oh, they have a big area for alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. You name it, Rouse's probably has it. So, when we were in Milton and saw there was one with the actual pig statue out front there was no question, we had to go. Honestly, the statue alone made it worth a stop. This is one of the oldest grocery store chains around and you definitely feel that old school vibe when you walk in. It's not fancy but it's somewhere in between a convenience store and a grocery store, which is interesting. They had a lot of unique snacks that we didn't see other places and a couple of good deals too. I will say the vibe through us off a bit. There were multiple people soliciting in the parking lot and the area right around the store felt a little rough. It's next to a trailer park or something and the overall energy just felt off. Not dangerous or anything, just uncomfortable enough that we didn't want to hang out for too long. It's a shame too because they had a buffet inside which was wild but it was super cheap and if we had felt more comfortable, we probably would have tried it but instead we took our photos, grabbed a few snacks for the road and headed out.
