They held it for free and delivered it to us in town for free when we were ready. They even saw all of our empty moving boxes and offered to take them and recycle them for us- amazing! Awesome and quick customer service in the store and with the delivery drivers. We stopped in today for a Murphy bed mattress, since they are not that common. Luckily they had two different thicknesses to choose from. Since it's a bed in a box, it's an easy and free delivery for them (in town), and they are always so friendly. Even when the app or website says the specific product I want is in stock, I'll go to the store and it's not actually there. It's even worse when ordering online. It will show that the item is available, but then I end up getting a substitute H-E-B brand product instead of what I actually ordered. I always have to double-check and remember to uncheck the substitution option, but then sometimes I just don't get the item at all. It's gotten to the point where it's hard to trust whether what I'm buying is actually going to be available. I'd set up notifications on the app where I could select products that I'm interested in and be able to get updates when they've been restocked that would be extremely helpful to consumers.

I haven't found another place that makes them! What's boudin? (Pronounced BOO-dan, BOO-din, or the French BOO-dah) It's a Cajun sausage made with pork (sometimes duck), rice, herbs, and spices--often including liver or heart. Don't let that throw you off--it's incredibly flavorful. Think: a soft, fresh roll stuffed with cozy, Thanksgiving-style filling. They also make some great apple fritters and bear claws, but again--early bird gets the good stuff. The owners are kind and hardworking, and I love that it's locally owned and operated.
