Not well organized but prices are good! Sometimes they are short handed but they are always willing to help!

Very easy to find. It has room after room after room of items and even an upstairs with multiple rooms. If you are looking for anything old, start here 1st. If you are someone who works in movie set designs ( I know it's a speciality job), you might find something you don't have to add to your own inventory. Just so you know, I don't know the owners and I don't work for this place and no family members or friends work for this place. I just happened upon it today and was blown away at how much they had on hand and I did buy something. This is just a review to help all those that like to look for old treasures and need a short break and want to find a bargain and might not know this place exist right off IH-10. Beaumont is a good place to stop before reaching Houston WB or to stop before you exit the state EB heading to Baton Rouge. - [ ] P.S. Travel Tip. For cheap gas, (like 20 cents a gal cheaper than on the interstate), take the College St exit for US 90, go West bound on US 90 for about 2 miles and you will reach the intersection with FM 364, and you will see a Speedy Stop station on the left, many pumps, clean rest rooms and food. If you are heading West to Houston you can a left at the light at FM 364 and it will bring you back to IH -10. If you are heading East to Baton Rouge, you just head back in the direct you came from to catch IH-10 EB. Safety note: if you are heading to Houston, I always take US 90 west from here because the interstate between Beaumont and Winnie is Notorious for highway accidents because of the construction going on and the poor signing for traffic control TxDOT and the construction company continues to allow to exist. Their solution is to keep lowering the speed limit instead of fixing the signing and to warning drivers further in advance for lane shifts and other changes not expected by normal drivers. AVOID IH-10 WB to Houston by taking US 90 West where it will merge with IH-10 at the Loop 610 in Houston. Drive safe. Sorry for getting off topic. This Antique shop is a great place to stop, Safe Travels.

If you are passing through Beaumont on IH-10 and love a great deal, then you should take about 30…read moremin to check out the great clothes and shoes they offer at super discount prices. I know it's a strange name but their motto is more "Style" and less "Money", so it's S&M. They show the original price tag, then usually it is marked 1/2 of that, then they will have a sign above the rack indicating you get another 20-50% off the lowest price. One wall of ladies clothes are sometimes priced at 80% off and these sometime come from high-end shops and boutiques that went out of business all over the country. Really great men's and ladies shoe prices. Some clothes and shoes are designer brands. They do have some household items at big discounts also. They are only about 2 miles off IH-10. From either direction you take US 69/96/287 North, Exit 853-A towards Jasper and Lufkin (don't take Hwy 69 south). Once you exit to Hwy 69 North, drive about 2 miles and take the Dowlen Rd exit, take a left at the traffic light ( Dowlen Rd) and go under the freeway to the 2nd traffic light ( don't count the lights at the freeway). Go through the 2nd light and take the 1st left in the median crossover and S&M is 2nd on your left. This is located across Dowlen Rd from Parkdale Mall with many food places if you're also stopping for lunch. Safe area to shop in. Well worth a visit if you are into bargains. They also have some kids and baby clothes. Not sure why they are so far down the list in Yelp. They should be at the top for what they offer.

It is a "pickers" store, so you have to pick, dig and always check the back walls for 80% off goodies 1st. My wardrobe is full of high end garments that I wouldn't of otherwise have the budget for. AGAIN sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not, hence the phrase "Shopping" not "buying!"

This place has both, and despite its impressive array of goods from clothes to furniture, it's well organized and easy to navigate. I'm normally a neutral-color dresser but some of the clothes encourage me to step out of my comfort zone into some louder designs. Additionally, the walls are all lined with non-clothing items for sale -- books, movies, glassware, water bottles, and more. I don't think I've ever come a cross a thrift store with this much versatility. Out of the Closet is serious about HIV/AIDS advocacy and they prove it by putting their money where their mouth is. Like many other thrift stores in Montrose, you can expect marked up (but still fair) prices compared to the larger ones with piles upon piles of clothes to sift through. 96% of all proceeds at this store, however, go toward supporting the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Free condoms are offered near the cashier counter; free HIV testing and a not-for-profit pharmacy sits in the back. The roots of thrifting inherently lie in supporting the community. This is usually accomplished through the affordability of everyday items, but this shop takes it to the next level by showing their dedication to safe sex and access to healthcare. Give this place a visit the next time you cruise through Westheimer -- they deserve your time more than you know.

They don't have display cases, but huge boxes of merchandise as seen on Amazon (not TV). I don't think it's related to the internationally known e-commerce website. Alibaba is also the main character from the famous Arabian folk tale. Any ways, as I was saying, don't think all products from China look cheap. They're seriously made for high end consumers. Like cell phone accessories brand LeYi. I never knew this brand until I bought a cell phone case from Amazon. They got unique design and functionality. Yesterday July 31 was their first day. I arrived around 3 pm. They were busy unloading and setting up the shop. There were few customers. Employees greeted everyone as we came in. Prices are still handwritten on the crates. I saw $1, $2, $3, $4, $5... But I saw nice stuff in the crates. Oh, they take cash and credit cards. I wasn't planning to stay long because I could overspend for trinkets. Some items can become customized gifts for businesses. I'll be back when we can safely meet in person. Because I will buy a bunch of stuff for my meetup giveaways. **Updated after my second visit and chatted with co-owner Jason** They have plan to expend this operation to 10 stores in Houston. I think it's a great concept. I wish them luck and I will be back every month to see new products.
