And they are the only place I know that correctly calls "sausage kolaches" as their real name--Klobásník--or Klobásníky (plural.) but don't expect those to still be there. On a weekday, they might still have these Czech treats until 3 pm, but on the weekends, they go fast! Always friendly staff and i just love looking through their home decor. They have the cutest little tchotchkes that are locally crafted and so wonderful for home, garden, or lawn. I have bought many a christmas and birthday gift on the way. Great metal art as well! The bathrooms are always clean and smell fine. I highly recommend stopping at least one time to see everything they have to offer. It's a true, "small Texas town" stop! Oh, and set the GPS! The aisles were close together, but groceries weren't easy to be found. I had to search high and low to locate things on my list due to the organization of the store and I'm so used to shopping at the location in Friendswood. The store prices were pricier than the location in Friendswood. I didn't care for that. The Asian/International aisle was popping because they had everything under the sun for spring roll preparations. I found my Maggi sauce, sweet soy sauce, and canned bean sprouts. However, when it came time to check out; there was a line from the front of the store to the bakery aisle for the self-checkout. There was long lines for the regular lines. It was only three workers holding down the whole store. Now, that's ridiculous. I met with this very kind self-checkout employee. She was very sweet and helped me clean the self-checkout kiosk since it wasn't ringing up my items properly and kept giving me issues each time I scanned my groceries. After this experience, I'll be avoiding this location like the plague.
