I like Five Below but today at this location nothing had prices on it. Kinda annoying. Other than that I found a few things I "needed." They have these great water balls that we take to the beach and ours go lost in the undertow last week. I am so glad they still had some left. I also found a great yoga book. The amount of times I have visited this strip, it has never crossed my mind to actually go inside until recently. I have always had the impression it was a tween clothing store... boy was I completely wrong! This store has A LOT to offer for $5 and under (hence the name! Hah!). I stumbled across board games, toys, bags of candy, electronics, and even workout gear! This was honestly the best thing ever! As a therapist, I DIY a lot of my exercising gear to save me money. When I found free weights and ankle/wrist weights, I was jumping for joy! So inexpensive, I couldn't pass up the offer! I even found hand grip strengtheners for only $3! I have been using the products I purchased for about a week now! So far so good! I cannot wait to come back and find more goodies! Obsessed with this store now! read more

Yay! They finally have one in my neck of town and do not have to drive 45 minutes to the next one over. Do you know what is fascinating about these places? You can find lots of things that you will find for a couple dollars more in other stores. That's not being cheap it's being smart with your money. It's new, parking is ample, the employees would rather be somewhere else, the prices are very reasonable, you will find neat things here and my backside itches. [moment of truth: I come here and easily spend about $50, sometimes more] butttt.... Five Below - I rock with ya! WHAT CAN YOU FIND HERE: I mean dude, you will find things from chargers, headphones and cellphone cases to toys, books, pillows, throws and workout gear. I was truly amazed at the amount of workout clothes AND workout equipment that they sell. I mean, it almost made me want to start working out more. Ha! WHY I LOVE THIS PLACE: Planning a party? Come here and get different party favors, balloons, cards, plates, etc. You'll also find things like koozies and cute little plastic shot glasses here. Get your pordy on. Need to buy gifts for someone's birthday? Come here. You may find something! I've bought things like iPad/tablet cases, phone cases, houseshoes, gloves etc for birthday and Christmas gifts! I mean, they have things that people need/want and it's cheap for you so hey, take advantage!! Have kids? You'll find things from books to toys, puzzles and board games here. Oh, is your daughter in love with Frozen? There's an entire section with Elsa and Anna. Let your daughter GO IN. Oh, I didn't forget about the little boys. It was hard to even walk around because they had so many Christmas-themed items and great options for gifts. Right now, they have Valentine Day stuff like cards, gift bags, etc. They also have a section with St. Patty Day items. So yes, they keep up with the season. SO WHAT IS THIS PLACE REALLY LIKE: A dollar store on crack. But it's more clean and well organized with higher quality items. Also, side bar: I prefer this location over the store in Humble. All I can say is clutch your wallets very very VERY tight!! LOL I mean all items $5 & below? I mean, what's bad about that?!?!? I'll tell you...you come in this store, while it's spacious, it's not overwhelming in size. It's well lit & things are sectioned by category. They tend to keep seasonal, fun items towards the front. Today's visit were fun things for the pool: pool noodles, boogie boards & beach towels. It's well lit & things are sectioned by category. T-shirts, nail polish, toys, bath products, candy & decorating items. You name it, they've got it. The phone accessory section is pretty awesome. It's divided by device type. So it's not so hard to figure out which one works for your device! It's a great place for party favors or quick gifts on the low. Especially if its things kids will likely lose or break in 2 - 3 days. , Gotta give a shout out to whoever created their floor design. You suckers are cold blooded!! As you wind through the store you pick up all these little knickknacks because hey, it's only $2 and this one is only $3 & I've been meaning to buy one of these LOL For the amount of business they get I have to say they keep it pretty organized. This Five Below has given us some awesomely nice experiences! This past Christmas we found a ton of cute things for teachera and Girl Scouts! They always have something cute and Novelty! Last Spring Break we found some cool $5 Wham-o Popsicle & Pretzel pool floats! Employees are nice and place has cool music too! Parking is open and convient. A one stop shop with a no more than 5 dollar price. Everything from clothes and shoes to chargers and screen protectors for your electronic devices. Can never just go and get what i need because I end up buying more. Staff is always welcoming and helpful when it comes to asking if something is available and will even call another location and hold the item. Just awesome services!!!!! read more

The cashier did not look at me and didn't talk to me at all. Instead she was talking to the other cashier about non-work related things and when I was getting ready to pay she still said nothing to me and as I was leaving I decided to say thank you and she said nothing and had a smirk as she continued to chat with her coworker and once more I said thank you thinking maybe she did not hear me the first time, but still no comments or questions at all. If people haven't heard of this place, they need to check it out. It's kinda like a dollar store except everything is either $5 or less. This place is a great go-to place for bday gifts and christmas gifts for little kiddos. You're obviously not going to find huge gifts for $5 or less, but it makes for a lot of great "extra" gifts so it looks like you bought a ton. They also have cute decorations during the holidays.
