This morning, my friend and I went back in the store, looking for my sunglasses, and a sweet young man named Emmanuel saw me, walking towards me swiftly & remembering who I was, he pulled my sunglasses out of his front sweatshirt pocket and asked if they were mine. Yep, he found them where I evidently dropped them while shopping. She saw we looking in the water, and she stopped to help us. I asked if she worked here- and she did. Her name is Iris, and she is AWESOME!! Though we didn't find what we were looking for, she left no stone unturned! Absolutely amazing customer service skills- and Walmart should know what a great job she's doing. We also came across cashier Janet, and whom I think is her supervisor- Susan. Both ladies were so wonderful! There was also a lady in cosmetics that walked me over to some products- the CS at this store is nuts!! Whatever is happening here in Kingman- please spread it East, North, West and South!!! It's small, friendly, and, considering prices today, we found most of the vendors to be very reasonably priced. We saw new, old, unique, and 'yard sale' qualtiy items... in other words, just exactly what we expected. It would be nice if there were MORE vendors though. We also tried the biscuits and gravy breakfast at the little cafe there. The meal was VERY good, and you can't beat the price!!! Give the place a try!!! There were many vendors, and even though it was a little windy, customers were walking about. Some of my favorite vendors had anything from hand made torqouise jewelry to a child's pink electric guitar with it's own amplifier. There are cheap used tools, antiques, lots of rocks, demonstrations on a potter's wheel, even a master brick maker demonstrating his craft. There is also an oil painter selling her work for reasonable prices and a restaurant/snack bar where I rested with a cup of coffee and breakfast burrito. One of my favorite things about this strange lot in the desert was the people. All of the vendors were very friendly and had interesting stories about their wares. I will definately stop here on my way back home.
