I advised her that I spoke to someone about 10 minutes earlier and they confirmed they had cars available. She admitted they had cars for return rentals, but not one way rentals. Thus they were canceling my reservation. When I received my credit card statement for the month, they charged my card almost $350 for a canceled rental. The reservation they canceled. I challenged the expense with my credit card company. Hertz refused the charge because they had paperwork claiming I was a no-show. I have phone records as well as two witnesses to the conversation. Check your credit cards for fraudulent charges folks! This location is stealing money!

She grabbed just any battery from the junk drawer and couldn't get it to work after watching a YouTube video on how to open the fob. She called her sup., he said he will order new batteries, like that will help us... Changed cars, cost us over an hour which we couldn't afford that day! Next car would shimmy-shake after going over 50 mph. Serious damage under front end could be suspected based on damage to the front bodywork. They never checked the car before turning it over, just gas it up and a quick wash and go. They credited us ($10/gallon) for not having the tank full as we could not turn off the engine at a gas station while gassing up. Management is weak, customer service is good.

JC is new and didn't hesitate to ask for and get assistance from Jason. I am in town for a funeral, but they didn't know that. The lite banter and smiles were so welcomed and needed. They explained coverages and options but without the heavy sales pitch and pressure to add anything. The vehicle I left with was just I wanted and matches my personality to a tee! In the midst of loss, these two really made my day. I am so grateful for this experience.

However online it clearly stated there were 42 vehicles available. We went out to the car and it was banged up on all sides even the roof and the wipers were broken and falling off the windshield. I immediately went back in asked for help and he said he couldn't help me and that it's normal for a truck to have stiff steering and shaking. I then walked down to Avis where they helped me get a newer more safe car that was cheaper than Alamo. HORRIBLE RENTALS, HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE PRICES. After it was said and don't they charged me 81 dollars for the less than 24 hour unsafe rental. I then contacted customer service again and a young lady called me and was extremely kind and said she would make sure the truck was not available to any other customers before it is service and refunded me the money. However I don't think I'll ever rent from Alamo again. That's insane that Alamo offers unsafe cars to paying customers.

Didn't think much of it, and didn't realize until I was drove off the lot, and the check engine light didn't go away. I've gotten rentals from Hertz in the past with an existing small crack on the windshield, and was never charged for it. $455 for a new windshield (or repair) is the additional amount I was charged for my reservation, and the employee who charged me this put on the incident report that the vehicle is not drivable. This is completely bogus. I am a loyalty gold member and used Hertz for years. Never ever has anything like this happened to me. Hertz lost another customer.
