My reservation was supposed to be $209.57, but I was charged 243.56. Adam, the branch manager, agreed the contract was incorrect, shook my hand, and promised to fix it and give me an additional refund for the inconvenience. He fixed part of the issue but never followed through on the extra refund he promised. Mistakes happen, but not keeping your word is disappointing and bad business. If I could leave negative stars I would. Enterprise have conflicting information on the phone compared to online regarding renting a car with a debit card. When I arrived at Enterprise at Daytona Beach Airport the representative Ashtray or Ashtin was incredibly rude, insensitive and very dismissive mind you I was the only person there, nobody else was waiting. She claimed her rudeness to be "asserting" herself she was disgusting on the way she spoke to me and handled herself. I'm not a Floridian I'm not familiar with their airport and after she told me I couldn't rent a car even with a reservation with a debit card I asked where I can get a ride back as I am stranded and not familiar with the area and she waives me to go outside and catch a cab....OUTSIDE WHERE?? Then proceeds to tell me to step back (which I did) then starts screaming for me to go sit down (umm who the fuck are you talking to?!) I ask for a manager and she calls Chris over and the first thing he says is he didn't see what happened so I explain to him and he proceeds to tell me Ashtray is the best rep their. How when she didn't explain the rules, was rude with a serious attitude, was dismissive wasn't helpful and was down right nasty?! The NY in me wanted to DRAG her ass but I decided to write a review because no one should be treated that way. So enterprise left me stranded at the airport and I had to walk several miles to get out of the airport to the main road. I don't recommend Enterprise and may be seeking legal action for the way I was treated. I filed 2 complaints with corporate with no response or callback. I had a car emergency, so I called enterprise Rent-A-Car and they came through amazingly wonderfully efficient. They only had one vehicle, a Ford F150 truck. I'm 4 foot 11. I didn't think that was gonna work out for me very well. They asked me if I could wait a little bit and they gave me the cutest Toyota. I really wanted to keep it. It drove wonderfully. When I return the car, they actually drove me to where my other car is getting fixed and I just love enterprise Rent-A-Car. They will get my business over Hertz any day of the week read more

I gave it a one star only because of one employee at the Daytona office. Her name is Mary and I think she is some kind of manager and a poor one at that. She was extremely RUDE. She also made promises to me and never followed through on them I rented a large SUV and I got a very small piece of garbage. I think it was because the insurance company was paying for it but I wanted an upgrade and told her I was going to pay for it. I still was Treated like garbage and got a horrible car because of her. MARY needs to be replaced and sent to attitude adjustment classes. If you rent from Daytona I advise to only talk to Jordan, Alec, or Kayla. They were WONDERFUL. I give THEM 5 stars. Nice place to get a rental. I needed a 15 passenger van to shuttle family member around when they all stayed at my house for my daughter's wedding. Had it all set up ahead of time and when I arrived they had 2 to chose from. The lady that helped me was very good and efficient as was the guy at returning the van. My only complaint was that the van must of had a 4 cylinder because it was very underpowered for a 15 passenger van. read more

Came in for a rental and was pond off to a gentleman named Mark, Mark was very adamant that he had no vehicle for me and then maybe I should check other places advised that I could wait till the next day he then told me that he would put a reservation in for me for a certain vehicle and they would be there at 8 AM waiting on me the next morning upon arrival the next morning I discovered that Mark was not there. I also discovered that Mark never put my reservation in the computer , and also that the vehicle that was promised to me was just rented to someone else. I agreed to take another vehicle which I was then charged $17 more per day then market advise me I was told it this was because the price fluctuates daily when I advised what I was told the gentleman told me I was a liar that he knew that Mark never quoted anything other than that, and that if I didn't like his business, I needed to go to another business, the gentleman and I argued very loudly for approximately 10 minutes. The man was very insulting, very rude, very unprofessional, and then asked to speak to his manager at home, which called Mark at home on his day off. Mark agreed and advise it. He for some reason decided not to put my reservation in the computer. He also admitted that he did quote me for a lower price so the manager gave me the price that Mark quoted. This was the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life with a car, rental company or any customer service. If I had read the reviews beforehand, I would've went elsewhere. I had an unfortunate accident on my way from Albany, NY to Daytona Beach and was forced to rent a vehicle in Silver Springs, Maryland. Only vehicle available was a full size plus gas guzzling pick up truck. Once in Daytona, Agent Lauren Ishmael was a true professional, helped me tremendously on the phone, and worked tirelessly on coming up with a manageable solution to my problem. She was able to convert my rental to an "insurance rate" , exchanged the truck for a more reasonable, comfortable and fuel efficient vehicle. Lauren had an answer or got an answer for all of my questions, worked with the Enterprise in Silver Springs to change my reservation, and handled my situation with professionalism during a very busy day at the Daytona Beach location. In addition to doing all of the paperwork, etc. she even prepped the vehicle, washing, etc. Lauren did an excellent job and I cannot thank her enough! read more

We had to have a car quickly after an auto accident resulted in a total loss to our car. Enterprise worked directly with our insurance company and had a very nice car waiting for us and took care of all of the paperwork. When the rental reached the policy limit, I was lucky enough to work with Ashly Smith who was kind, understanding and attentive. Since there isn't a page specifically for the location in the car dealership on Tomoka Farms Road in Daytona, and they tell me it's a satellite office for the one on Mason, I'll leave my review here. What an experience. I reserved a rental online, and on the page specific to the location on Tomoka, it claims that pickup service is available. I tried calling on a Friday (three days before I needed a pickup) and I sat on hold for over 15 minutes. So I decided to call the next day (Saturday), only to find out they're closed the entire weekend. So I call first thing Monday morning, and again, wait on hold for another 10-15 minutes. Finally, someone answers and promises me a pickup by 1PM, which was the latest I could do since I had to be at work shortly after that and needed the car the following day for a business trip. 1:00PM comes and goes. 1:15PM and nobody shows up. I try calling the location twice, only to be left on hold and eventually hung up on. So I call the general toll free number to see if anyone there can help me. After explaining the situation and that nobody picks up the phone at the location, the agent tells me pickup service is NOT available at that location and asks if I tried calling, after I told him that I was left on hold twice already. I tell him not only does the website say pickup service is available, I spoke to someone just hours ago promising a pick up!!! Very unhelpful. Finally, Enterprise shows up at 1:30PM, after I ordered an Uber ride, which I then had to cancel. With so much competition in the car rental arena, I'd be leery of Enterprise if you're considering it. Very poor service and you can never get ahold of anybody via telephone. read more

Had a reservation for Friday 8:30 am. Needed a car to drive to Orlando after dropping my boat in Daytona Beach. Went to local Avis on Thursday 4:00 pm looking to get car early. Man said reservation is for Friday & if we wanted a car it would be $40 extra sine he had no car in the class we reserved. I asked if 1 would be here in the am & he said no, but we could pay $40 & get an upgrade. Either way, $40 extra. So I jumped on my app & made a quick reservation for 'now' and said 'here ya go, I now have a reservation for now'. He told me to leave & he said even if I come back in the am he will not rent to me. Never have I been" handled " so professional, reckless or discriminated against My husband and I are from Georgia.We came down for Bike Week on March 11th and decided to save money and stay with my sister in law. Boy were we wrong. I car was towed by Arrow Towing because unbeknownst to us we parked in a visitor nonparking zone. We woke up Saturday morning to find our rental vehicle was towed. We immediately called ARROW TOWING and were told because the Jeep wasn't registered to my name they could not release my contracted vehicle to me. We spoke to someone on call for the establishment and were told they would not reopen until Monday. I called Alamo road side assistance, explained the situation and was promised a replacement vehicle. Alamo transferred me to Enterprise roadside. Enterprise roadside contacted the local Enterprise on Mason Ave. Angel the representative advised Ashley(manager of store) to exchange my previous rental for another vehicle. Ashley advised me I had to wait until Monday until the vehicle was recovered. We were stranded in Florida for the whole weekend against our will. We called Ashley on Monday after talking to numerous Enterprise roadside assistance representatives who apologized profusely for Ashley for not replacing my rental . Ashley made us wait until 2pm on Monday to retrieve our rented Jeep from the impound. We were originally quoted 213.00 for the impound fee which ended up costing us 273.00. Needless to say this was the worst vacation of our lives, my life was devastated and I feel this incident was racially motivated. read more

I made a reservation for a compact car the day before needing it as my car broke down and had to be towed for repairs. I arrived just as they opened on a Sunday. I was so happy they were actually open! The clerk was so friendly, helpful and efficient. Took a total of maybe 10-15 minutes and as she walked me out she said they will be bringing up the Nissan Rogue as soon as he's finished washing it. What a super nice surprise!! From a tiny car to this really nice SUV I wasn't expecting. She went above and beyond. I always use Enterprise when needing a rental. On my return visit, the same friendly service. During bike week of 2016 I reserved a Chrystler 200 online ( I was unable to ride on the motorcycle because of a muscle injury) When I arrived at the office I was given a Toyota Camry (which by the way was a dream to drive) however, I do not support automobiles not made in America. If you are a person who attends Daytona bike week you will understand my embarrassment driving a Japanese car to Bike Week events! Have definitely experienced better customer service. We booked a car last minute during our trip due to the rain and not wanting to stay cooped up in the condo. Discussed discounts on the phone with the rental department. When we arrived we were told how bad the rental department was and how they never get things right. Then said the rate included the discount, but after checking it was not on the bill. Agent was very pushy to add service even though we declined multiple times. Terrible and incompetent service at Mason Ave. They (Ebony and Harrison) left me stranded after a tow truck ride at a service center for an hour and a half. Their tag line of going the extra mile is bull. I called them and customer support. Got hung up on multiple times and nothing solved. Ended up having to Uber to the airport to pick up a rental. Called the next day and speak to a manager (Mary). No apologies only excuses for the people that could've use their caller ID to call me back. Since she was looking up my number in their system after I got hung up on and had to call her back also. It's not hard to spot a tow truck pulling into a car lot. Asking one person coming out of a door when there are always 50 dealership associates walking around? Of course they don't know about my particular situation. Stay in one place, especially if one of the places you go has been closed all day. The open one is the obvious choice here. 2:15? I'm rolling my eyes right now. The car smelled like cigarette smoke, and there wasn't any other cars to chose from. The smell was very strong. I am a non smoker, and it is too hot in FL to ride with the windows down. Other than that, I have no complaints with the rental car itself. The service was fine. We reserved in winter time for today in late July and here we are the morning we are supposed to leave left to scramble around and look for other options. Customer service has been terrible as well. Don't allow people to make reservations online as if everything is fine and when a person gets there you need to hit them with the paper right then and there. I wasted my time making the reservation online, going all the way up there for them not to help me because my statement says one thing but my receipt and the money in my pocket didnt matter. After missing our flight (weather cnx) conversation with Enterprise at the national level suggested calling the Mason Ave site directly to see what could be done (this was Christmas and had to wait a day). After speaking with the local rep, I was assured that a car would be waiting at the original rate (at national level it would have doubled due to availability). I picked up the car the day after arriving (too late day of arrival) without problem and was even credited for the day I didn't need it (even though I told them I'd pay the extra day so that I wouldn't loose the reservation). The worst experience with a car rental I ever had. Car rental co. was used by the collision center where I sent my vehicle for repairs. Told insurance co. I'm 6'3, need standard car. Set me up with compac, told rep not leaving until we straighten this out, They did. Received a Chev Malibu..Great, on my way. 2 days into my rental went out to the car to go to work at 12am, opened the door and to my surprise this vehicle is infested with BED BUGS. Freaked out!! Called rental car co. from work to pick up vehicle because I'm not driving it another 10 ft. They want me to drop it off. Sorry not happening. They exchange it for another promise a 2 day comp for the inconvenience I went through. That NEVER happened. Returned vehicle a week later to get my vehicle back..had to return my vehicle due to poor workmanship, scratched paint, swirl marks in clear coat, hard top put on wrong etc. They put me in with the same rental car co due to their negligence.Had rental another week...Received my vehicle back again done right this time and car rental had the nerve to say I owed them a day of rental...NEVER AGAIN POOR MANAGEMENT !!!!! read more

This was the first time I rented a car with enterprise. The gentleman who helped was named robert and seemed very pleasant. When we rented the car we asked for the whole amount and was told one number. Which we asked him many times what the total with the deposit and everything came to. The next day I looked at my bank account and 200 more than what was expected and what we were told was taken out. At this point I felt like I had been scammed. I called and talked to another gentlemen who's name I didn't get. And all he could do was take 10 dollars off. I wanted to return the car but had no other option but to use the car since mine was broken down and in the shop. A close friend of mine told me they did the same to them before I could even tell him what had happen to me. It ended up overdrawing my account which thankfully I had my savings which was suppose to go to fixing my vehicle. I am very unhappy and this has caused me and my family a bit of stress.
