We stood 30 minutes away from the rental facility and had to wait 15 minutes for the shuttle to take us to the airport. Once on the shuttle, we had another 15 minutes to reach the airport. Now that I know this, I'd prefer to book with a rental company at the airport to avoid the hassle of travel. The staff was friendly, but overall, I'd rather save time over a few dollars, especially when I'm on vacation.

We were repeatedly offered services and insurance options that we had already paid for through Expedia. Even after declining additional services multiple times, there was continued pressure, with items being added "just in case" we changed our minds. We ended up leaving with an additional $459 in charges and later had to return to explain that we had already purchased extra coverage through Expedia. We also received a lower-class vehicle than the one we originally booked. Although Roya was apologetic and removed one insurance charge, she stated that we had received an upgrade. From our perspective, we had already paid for that level of vehicle from the beginning. Overall, we feel we paid significantly more than expected for unnecessary add-ons that were not clearly explained or removed. It is unfortunate because every other part of the experience was good, but because of this situation, we would not choose Fox again.

Roaches are crawling all over the vehicle and have even crawled on me as I am driving. It is GROSS! I have called their Customer Service twice now asking to swap out the vehicle. The person on the phone takes a report and thats all. One person did email me and say to bring it back to the airport but we are in Tampa now so we can't do that. I have repeatedly asked them to switch me out with a car from the Tampa Airport....but I get no response. This is the worst rental car experience I have had in 30+ years of renting vehicles.

When I pulled up, we were greeted with, "You are late and we are charging you a late fee!" It caught me off guard to be greeted in this manner. I explained to the young girl that I picked up the care at 1pm and paid for a full 8 days and that usually means returning the next day by 1pm was still fully paid. I am bringing it back using only 5 hours on the last day. She immediately shot back and said "you stated 6pm on your return time and it is 7:04pm and I am charging you 2 hours late". When I said, "Serious?' She said, "Yeah I am serious, you heard me". I asked for a manager to speak with and she said I could call or go inside. I was on my way to catch a flight and had no time to go to the rental car desk and find a manager. Hopefully, someone sees this and can help with the customer service on the return side of the business. I know some of these young kids are not used to talking to adults, but if you do not know how to speak to customers, do not put these employees in those positions.

Rented a vehicle to drive my son home from college. I was told that the car was being cleaned and the items must be in lost and found but the lost amd found person had gone home for the evening with the key. I returned the next day and after waiting an hour I was told the lost and found oerson was out sick. She remained out for the next five days and I cycled through various managers who promised to get back to me. On Tuesday (7 days later) I was told no items had been turned in and that they would open a claim and check the cameras and get back to me within 24 hours. No return call, no update. I called today and they made the mistake of picking up the phone. I identified who I was and explained why I was calling amd was met with "Oh I can't really hear you, I'll call you back." Then the lady hung up and didn't answer again. So not only are we going to take things that are left in the vehicle, they are going to be super unprofessional. Think carefully before you spend your money here.

Car ran great, and had amazing fuel economy (34.9 MPG for whole trip). We had three of us in the car (we are fairly large people), and the seats were a little snug, but overall pretty nice. The ride quality was great, so smooth it was easy to lose track, and find yourself speeding.

Only thing I had a problem with was paying an extra $13 for an extra hour and bringing the car back not at noon but maybe at 1 o'clock that I may not use I think it should be a grace period when you're returning a car anything over an hour Hertz should charged $13 but I don't think you have to pay for it upfront especially if you do not use it. A 15 to 35 minute or either.45 minutes over the time. I have rented cars and had to wait. Sometimes when you're waiting for them to bring your car because the car hasn't been returned.

If you don't want to get upgrades make sure you write NO UPGRADES or extra protection in BOLD letters on contract. otherwise they will add all possible upgrades without your acknowledgment. In my life I never seen such shady business. I was in rush but I verbally told guy I don't need anything except gas but he deliberately charged me over $500, my original booking was for $70. I clearly told him this car is just go to hotel and return to airport but he tricked and possibly copied my initials on contract.
