We were originally told to go to Enterprise (contract between the insurance company and Enterprise), Enterprise did not and would not have a car ready until 4 or 5 days later. The closest Enterprise available with a car on that day was 54 miles away.

SilverCar has now become my Go To rental car company when I'm in Dallas. I've probably rented from…read morethem 6 or 7 times over the past several years. They moved from a rental only location to the current dealership location which seems to be the direction they are heading in nationwide. There are a few relatively minor negatives but overall, it's a good operation. If you are flying into Dallas Love Field, they send a Lyft to pick you up at the airport and bring you directly to the dealership location. Also, they have a Lyft take you back to the airport when you are leaving. I am not aware of what the routine is if you are flying into DFW. Since it's located in a large dealership, you can find yourself a little lost among the throng of people having their cars repaired, looking at new cars, used cars, etc. There isn't currently a clearly marked area for SilverCar renters. The rental section is in the repair area. Once you get the hang of it, you can easily pick up or drop off your rental car without too much delay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Each of the people I have dealt with have been great. The cars usually have fairly low mileage and are in very nice condition. Obviously, driving around town in an Audi is a lot more fun for me than the generic options you will have at most rental companies. While SilverCar prices tend to be a bit higher than generic car rental companies, in this time of limited car rental options and extremely high prices, SiverCar has actually been a bit cheaper on many occasions than the general market. There are also premium models available for higher prices, including the A5 convertible. Their base model is an Audi S4. Of course all the vehicles are SILVER. I will continue to be a fairly regular customer.

Edgar Rojo was incredibly helpful in recommending me nowhere else but Trophy Collision, as well as helping me prepare for the nearing task of purchasing a new vehicle. Thank you SO MUCH Edgar! I also had faith he wasn't going to steer his 'ol teacher astray. ;) I had the pleasure of working with Dustin Abbott. My experience with Dustin and all those at Trophy Collision has been nothing but excellent (and I can be a tough critic, ask Edgar). I was stressed... they handled the tow truck, got me in immediately after work at 3pm, worked with my insurance directly & Dustin even sent my insurance the repair estimate before he left for the day. This greatly expedited my insurance claim. Turns out it was a total loss. Dustin went above and beyond teaching me how to do research on my totaled vehicle to ensure I wouldn't get ripped off by the insurance company. Sidebar, I currently teach the basics of buying a vehicle, insurance & the like to my seniors in class, but Dustin taught me MORE that I can now share during my lesson this spring! Dustin wasn't the only great employee I encountered. The mechanic generously removed my recently installed and undamaged towing package and wrapped it up with all assembly parts so I could install it on my next vehicle. He was so polite & helpful. In addition, my insurance only slotted $30 p/day for a rental. I have 3 kids in car seats and the well known car rental companies couldn't provide me a rental in that price range for the size I needed to transport my littles. But Trophy Collision & Trophy Nissan came in clutch again. They got me into a Nissan Rogue via their in-house rental company and for only $25 p/day +tax. Every penny counts on a teacher salary. Another thing I noticed is that everyone consistently wore their masks, no one was ever waiting in the waiting area (customers helped immediately) and all the employees were kind & helpful to both customers and each other. I'm a sucker for good culture. It's obvious their turnover percentage is probably small. I could literally go on, but hopefully you get the point and I can now go clean the mess my children made while writing this review (it was worth it). Seriously, I won't take my car anywhere else now. They have made a lifelong customer in me. Thanks for all the support team & special shout-out to the real MVP, Dustin Abbott.
