Road trips have enough surprises, I don't need my bathroom stop to be one of them. That's why…read morewhenever I see Love's travel stops, I'm pulling in. I couldn't even tell you whether the gas is the cheapest because that's honestly not always why I stop. I know they're going to be open, I know the employees are going to be friendly, and I know, without fail, the bathrooms are going to be clean. Not "pretty clean." Not "clean for a truck stop." The cleanest bathrooms of any travel stop, period. On this particular visit, the gas pumps were closed for construction, so if you're planning to fuel up, just be aware of that. I wasn't there for gas anyway, I stopped to use the restroom and was going to grab something afterward, only to realize I'd left my money behind. The gentleman working didn't make it awkward for even a second. He simply smiled, wished me safe travels, and told me to have a good evening. That's exactly why I keep choosing Love's. Spotless bathrooms, genuinely kind employees, and a level of consistency that's hard to find when you're on the road. Five stars every time.

Pulled into Love's Travel Stop in Gila Bend somewhere between "I need gas" and "I need to get out…read moreof this car for five minutes before I lose my mind," and this place hit perfectly. First impression, it's big. Wide open, easy to maneuver, no weird angles or tight turns. After hours on the road, that alone feels like a luxury. You don't have to think. You just pull in, find a pump, and breathe for a second. Inside is where it really stands out. It's clean. Not "someone wiped this down an hour ago" clean, but consistently maintained. Floors aren't sticky, shelves aren't wrecked, and everything feels like it's been looked after instead of just survived. Grabbed a coffee and something quick to eat, and it actually felt like there were options. Not just sad gas station food sitting under heat lamps. You can tell they expect people to stop here, not just pass through. Staff had that steady, road-tested energy. Friendly without overdoing it. Quick, efficient, a couple casual words exchanged, and you're on your way. Exactly what you want in a place like this. Bathrooms were the clincher. Clean, stocked, no hesitation walking in. If you've done enough highway driving, you know that's half the battle right there. This is one of those stops that resets you a bit. You walk out a little less tired, a little less annoyed at the road. Five stars. No question. If I'm coming through Gila Bend again, I'm not even considering anywhere else.

I'm really sad that the CVS that I've always loved, has gone down with the customer service…read moreespecially in the pharmacy. The pharmacy assistant, she is just a negative touch to the once great CVS. We are very disappointed .

Pharmacy staff is unprofessional, unpleasant, dismissive and disrespectful. As someone extremely…read moresensitive about pills -- I haven't even taken Tylenol in years -- starting RX treatment for the first time in my adult life is a big deal. Naturally, I have questions about what I'm putting in my body and how it might affect me. The impatient pharmacist wouldn't even gave me his full attention. He and the staff made it clear that my questions and concerns were an inconvenience. That's unacceptable in any healthcare setting. Patients are already dealing with pain, stress, and serious concerns which lead us to take these medications in the first place-- our concerns shouldn't be met with dismissiveness and attitude when trying to understand our treatment. Taking 5 minutes to explain something with patience and respect should be basic standard. It's concerning that it isn't here. Thank God I live in California and don't have to deal with this sour, childish, immature, unprofessional bs again. When a family member mentioned possibly switching to this pharmacy, I told them not to bother -- there are far better options where communication, human care and decency are a given. Pharmacy get your act together. Healthcare?! More like CARELESS. Fix your nasty attitude. Customers do not need more stress ON TOP of their ALREADY STRESSFUL SITUATIONS. YOU THINK WE WANT TO TAKING THESE STUPID PILLS!? ITS NOT FUN AND OUR SITUATIONS ARE NOT PLEASANT. YOU THINK WE WANT TO INCONVENIENCE OUR DAY TO PICK UP OUR MEDS?? ITS NOT A MF FIELD TRIP OKAY. You're adults. Grow up. Act like it. Get your act together. Take your job seriously in EVERY aspect. My God, remember why you chose this profession in the first place . It's not too much to ask. If AI becomes a reliable way to manage prescriptions and questions, I'll gladly take that route. At least I'd be treated with consistency and respect. I get better customer service at Burger King for God sakes. What a joke.

We had trouble finding the entrance to this CVS and some woman on her walker jumped right in to direct us in a kind way! I got a nice vibe immediately. Staff were professional and on good terms with local customers. Some even stopped the line for a quick chat. The wait time was unfortunately affected, but at least there was quality service. I came in for a few Preparation H items and some postcards for friends. I found everything fairly quickly as the store was well-organized.

Yesterday, I called their automated service to confirm my prescription was ready, which the AI voice confirmed. But alas, when I went there, it was not ready at all. After a half-baked explanation, the pharmacist/clerk informed me that if I didn't mind wasting a full hour waiting around, they could manage to fill it. I demurred, and said I would come by today, which I did. The CVS website said this store was OPEN, so this time i walked over there to pick it up. I got in line to wait, and after a bit of waiting I was informed that they were closing for lunch. (There is a tiny notation on the website under the prominent word "OPEN" saying they closed for lunch like this ... nice job, CVS). It didn't matter that I was already waiting in line, and no matter that it was my second try. Even the US post office doesn't get away with that kind of terrible service -- and they're a monopoly -- but CVS does. These people clearly hate their customers.
