One of the most unique Dollar Trees I ever went to ever. This is a Dollar Tree I wanted to go to in the past yet never went to due to never being in that area. I like that it is located in a shopping center with different stores and food places to browse through. The store was different in that they had a certain way of displaying items. They have a clear window cabinet to get beauty products from through large holes. I never saw that before in a Dollar Tree store. I think it keeps the items more neat & orderly. This is the place to find items you wouldn't usually see in other Dollar Tree stores. I found a selection of pantyhose & tights. I got an Elle brand for $1.25. I , also, found purse size sanitizer spray in Apple scent - very fragrant & cheaper than a fraction of the price of other stores at $1.25. They were in the middle of stocking Christmas items and some products were not priced. I selected premium Christmas wrapping paper that was more than 50% less or more than drugstore or Walmart prices - not realizing they were $3 each. They had cheaper gift wrapping paper for $1.50. I wish I still had gotten the hello kitty gift wrapper for $1.50. Items that were usually priced $1.25 like calendars & calendar journals were $1.50. My favorite finds of the day there were Marie Claire beauty product: brow liner (excellent in use & lower priced than higher end brands), two calendars together for $1.50, premium Christmas wrapping & tape, and double tape. Wow... we used to love stopping by the dollar tree in rose hill... But now... it usually now looks like the store was picked up and shook, it's such a mess! The Dollar Tree on Swann Creek in Ft. Washington, MD. They hire employees who try's to cheat and/or scam senior citizens out of their money. Don't give your money until you see the receipt, and be sure to count your money before leaving the store.. Besides that they have limited stock, not worth your time and effort to shop there. I suggest starting background checks, train staff better, and follow of up with complaints to the District Manager to make customers think they actually care read more

It works for the basics. Was I happy about the price increase to $1.25? Nope but with inflation, perhaps they had no choice. The $1.25 Tree is good for some household items. Here you can get value with cleaning liquids and trash bags. Also greeting cards are a bargain here, as what you'll pay elsewhere is shocking. This store is in a fairly busy strip mall. Do be wary of Rose Hill and Franconia Road. As for the store good employees. It also is clean and organized. This saves time for those of us in a hurry. It's not the most exciting store but it's practical. read more

This little gem had been hidden from me, but now I've found it. I stopped in here on 8-22-2020 probably for the first time, but I have been back plenty. Fantastic store!! Very clean. Nice selection of quality items. I go for the Arizona Sweet Tea (34 oz.) for only $1.00 per bottle. That's a great price. There's always plenty of flavors available. The staff are quite helpful. The cashiers are polite. And the best part is that you can take the cart out of the store to your car. It really makes a difference when you are shopping to know that you don't have to hit the gym first because the carts can't leave the store. I will be back. Keep up the great work. Oh Dollar Tree, how did I ever survive without you. Your prices are of course without compare, and they strike a blow against that monster inflation at ever turn. If there were a Nobel Prize for stores, you would be smiling down from the podium at that pretender Walmart every day of the week. Each of your stores is like a savings snowflake, unique in its dollar perfection. This one brought the same basket of knockoff household cleaners that I have grown to love; I mean do you really need a brand name toilet bowl cleaner or scrubbing pad? I think not, The Works toilet cleaner will do just fine However, the gem in your collection of savings, dear Dollar Tree, is your set of Bacon Bowls. Yes, as seen on TV so you just know it is going to be good, Bacon Bowls. You offer those ingenious contraptions that let you shape raw bacon around a shell so that it can be baked into heart-stopping bowl. .. And all for just a dollar (oh, I know what my family is getting for Christmas). I love you, Dollar Tree, and I will always be faithful to your prices and selection. .. I love the Dollar Tree! I usually hit this place up when I need little storage containers, bins, little prizes, and any other 'educator' stuff for dirt cheap! I love the greeting card section, the seasonal items, as well as the little 'Teacher's Corner.' On my recent trip, I was able to get $1 dictionaries and thesauruses (yes, that's right!), little stress balls shaped like footballs/baseballs/soccer balls, and little felt 'motivator' flags. The manager on-site was gracious enough to donate some of the cardboard bins to me, so I thought that was pretty awesome! There might be a little bit of a back-up in the check-out line as there are only a limited amount of cashiers/employees on-site. Parking is plentiful, but be cautious of the sharp-turning cars. +$1 dictionaries and thesauruses! +the manager here loves educators! :D read more

This is probably the best Dollar Tree location I have visited to date, so much so, I drove 20 minutes out of my way to come here. Everything was very well-organized (unlike many locations) and it just looked neat (not like a tornado came through the aisle like many locations too). Parking is a breeze despite many shops sharing the same parking lot in this shopping center. Lines were not atrociously long (although it was a Tuesday around 10am) and cashiers were friendly. I found everything I was looking more and then some (which always happens when everything is $1). I'd definitely drive out of my way to visit this location in the future. read more

I never write reviews but the treatment I received at this store was unreal. I came to the counter with an item and a simple request for 4 balloons and it was as if I asked for a kidney (mind you it was not busy at the time) . The cashier pointed to some old balloons and told me to pick from there. I could see from where I was standing those weren't the balloons I wanted and pointed out the numbers I requested.. another lady hollered from the side "we don't have that number" so I said give me two of the ones that were available from my request. The cashier then told me to step aside so she can ring up the next customer while the other lady proceeds to berate me for not just picking some balloons that were already halfway deflated. In all this time wasted a third lady has to blow up my balloons and ring me up under a register not in her name because the two have complained and stood there until a line formed. I will never come back to this location ... what started out as good intentions to put a smile on my friends face almost left me in tears at the disrespect to a simple request... please hire or retrain your employees on customer service or don't offer balloons because they refuse service to the request. read more

Party plates, forks, cups are definitely pricier per item than Walmart, but hey if you are in a jiffy, this place isn't too bad to score things for your themed party, especially that summer luau you've always wanted to have. They also have $1 pregnancy tests by the check out. Yes, say goodbye to all those other tests that sells for $7+ at cvs. I never trust their cleaning supplies; flip to the back and all the ingredients and info are the same including pics but if you just need a generic cleaner. I can get a good deal on cleaning, kitchen, and gift wrapping supplies. That is, why go to a big grocery chain and pay $2.50 for a 25 ounce bottle of dishwashing liquid when you can get it for a buck at Dollar Tree? Plus, unlike many other independently-owned dollar stores, this Dollar Tree is clean, takes great care as to the merchandise it offers its customers, accepts manufacturers coupons, and the customer service is great. It pays to take time to do some research before shopping at any dollar store. This reviewer suggests, for those of you going to any dollar store to buy non-perishable food items, that you do some comparison shopping, i.e. size and pricing, at your local grocery store first. For example, why pay 79 cents for a 15 oz. can of green beans at a dollar store, when you can purchase the same item at the grocery store for 68 cents? On the other hand, a quart of boxed milk goes for a buck at Dollar Tree, but the grocery store price for the same item is almost three dollars! Here is one last word of advice. Treat any dollar store visit like the weekly shopping for groceries. Leave the kids at home and have a list in hand before you go, because there will be a lot of opportunities for impulse buying at a buck per item. I love this Dollar Tree location. They have a great selection, it's clean, organized, staff is sufficiently helpful and efficient in checking you out. Great for toiletries (toilet paper (4 for $1 and the quality is good), plastic forks and stuff/party supplies, holiday decorations and seasonal items, teacher supplies, cleaning supplies (soaps and that awesome cleaner), candy) You'll be surprised and delighted by all the neat stuff you can get for $1. My problem, ohh it's a dollar to walk out shelling out $80-100 lol I was going to award 5 stars but yo, I did not know some Dollar Trees have refrigerator/freezer sections?!!!! This Dollar Tree is probably my favorite because it's so convenient. I can grab some breakfast, go to the super market, and then finish with Dollar Tree. This is pretty good sized Dollar Tree and they have a lot of stuff that I can't find in other Dollar Trees (even the larger ones). You can always get whatever you need @ the dollar tree and the best part is that everything in the store literally costs $1 or less. I mean, come on! It really doesn't get much better than that! I'm such a huge fan of dollar tree, I'm all about a bargain! Most importantly, I appreciate customer service- and this location- in particular the store manager "Mat"... left me in shock. Not only was he rude, as in made me feel like I was bothersome by merely my presence in his store, but upon asking him to see if he had 2 coffee mugs in the stock room I was given a firm and non-negotiable: "No. even if we did, we are closing and I can't help you." Mat was not alone, there were two other ladies working with him. I think confused was an appropriate word for my face when he said that. Not only are they 40 minutes from closing but my basket was filled to the brim with items ready to be purchased. I've worked for 12 years in retail, and Mat's response will have me never coming back. How unfortunate that he couldn't take a moment to look for something, and how grateful I could have been for his help. Instead, I won't shop here any more and will certainly let others know how rudely I was treated. Customers are why keep business going- I'm a firm believer in trying to help as best that can be- and I'm appalled at the serious lack of customer service here. read more
