I pretty much outfitted my first apartment out of this little shop and it didn't break the bank. If you've ever had to get yourself going in a new area, you know how hard that can be - trying to get all the same stuff out of Target would have easily set me back $5-600. Sure, it would've been nicer stuff, but you just can't buy nice stuff all at once. I've since retired all of those things and I rarely go here anymore unless it's for a random weird tool or electrical item that I'm only going to use a few times. It's still a great little shop though and I've taken other friends there when they're new to the area and need to get up and running CHEAP.

Mr. Yam, the store manager, the assistant managers, and all of the associated workers are consistently professional, friendly, and helpful. Ms. Helen always go the extra mile to help customers, and the other associate workers are amazing as well. Every customer is greeted with a warm smile and a sincere "Welcome to Gabe's" when they enter the store. Even when the checkout lines are long, the associates remain patient and courteous. They often apologize for the wait and ask, "How can I help you?" Their positive attitudes and willingness to assist customers make a lasting impression. The positive energy throughout the store starts with the management team and extends to every member of the staff. The king size sheets we found were of a brown color to which I despise. (Possibly due to my father and mother's liking of this color..., oh!, and seeing this color all over the house didn't help) Nevertheless, we did not find anything to replace the sheets we bought. So my wife just returned the item quickly and easily. There might be a number of things to buy here, but on today's experience, we bought nothing else.

They entice you with candy and sweets in the check out line. There was only one cashier working the register, but she was quick and efficient. Security is very active at this location, as stated in previous reviews. My only complaint is that it's located in a super, dicey area of town, be vigilant. Not a place I would go often, but definitely a hidden gem.....during daylight hours.

I came looking at a Rowe sectional and they helped me pick the perfect one, ordered me 20 different off white fabrics (aggressive I know but I needed options), and were so patient with me through my decision process. Their pricing was the best I found and I knew I wanted to buy from a small local business, so I placed the order for my couch and waited for it to come in. The fabric ended up being on back order so we were going to be without a couch for a few weeks. When I called them in a panic they said no worries, they'd get me a loaner in a few days. It was SO generous and held us over until our sectional arrived. Delivery was seamless and even faster than they quoted me. When it arrived it was so perfect and somehow exceeded my expectations. These women did nothing at all, I saw the entire checkout happen, and these men were loudly confronting and harassing every woman who approached the counter to check out after that and loudly shouting about "rude women who need to lose weight these days". They were so aggressive and the comments came out of nowhere to the point where me and my friends were actually scared. They should be fired immediately. I would never step foot in this business again because of that behavior, women are not safe at this store.

This is the place to find items you wouldn't usually see in other Dollar Tree stores. I found a selection of pantyhose & tights. I got an Elle brand for $1.25. I , also, found purse size sanitizer spray in Apple scent - very fragrant & cheaper than a fraction of the price of other stores at $1.25. They were in the middle of stocking Christmas items and some products were not priced. I selected premium Christmas wrapping paper that was more than 50% less or more than drugstore or Walmart prices - not realizing they were $3 each. They had cheaper gift wrapping paper for $1.50. I wish I still had gotten the hello kitty gift wrapper for $1.50. Items that were usually priced $1.25 like calendars & calendar journals were $1.50. My favorite finds of the day there were Marie Claire beauty product: brow liner (excellent in use & lower priced than higher end brands), two calendars together for $1.50, premium Christmas wrapping & tape, and double tape.
