Upon looking under the exposed shelf in the makeup aisle, there was a mouse snap trap. Little hands reaching under there could be in for a shock! The worst was the floral section where I found an old glue trap with a dead mouse carcass and nearly touched it. Ewww! The selection is good, staff are lukewarm, but they desperately need to clean up under their shelves. I found items under the shelves that had been discontinued months ago (which worked for me because they rang up for a penny) and a massive amount of dust, grime, and rodent traps. The cashier took my cash and I don't even recall getting a receipt. I called the 1-800 number on the back of the card and they said it was INDEED never activated. I went into the dollar tree in which I purchased it in Saugus, Massachusetts (Route 1 South) and they said a manager would call me. 30 days later, I went back in and they said the district manager will call me, another week goes by and nothing. I want a refund. I am baffled by the way people have treated me at this place.

When we walked up to the counter to purchase, it took them a while to acknowledge us even though I made eye contact with some of them a few times. They were really rude when talking to us as we were checking out too. On another note, no where does it say in store, on the receipt nor did anyone tell us that the blind boxes were not able to be returned or exchanged. When I went to return some boxes that were untouched because I already got what I wanted, the girls behind the counter again took time to come assist me as they were gossiping and playing with some of the items behind the counter. The girls were very rude when I asked if I could return the boxes, untouched because I had already gotten what I wanted, she gave a very annoyed "no, we don't do that". When asking about an exchange instead, she said "display only". What I don't understand is half, if not more, of the blind boxes at this location are already ripped open. Not just damaged from shipping, but a lot of the tabs have been ripped open and they were poorly retaped. So have they allowed other people who opened the boxes to return them or are they ripping them open themselves to take what they want? Overall, this year at this store has been very poor experiences. I might just drive up to NH as that location has better options and nicer staff anyways. This store just seems more like a hang out place for the staff to fool around than a place for people to shop.
