Being that I was already there, I checked out some of the different departments toward the back of the store. I have been looking for an area rug for my bedroom... I'm probably way too particular... I've bought some thinking they'd work - got them home & then it's like ; What was I thinking??? And had to return them. They do have a $1 day on a designated tag color weekly, but you'll need to call to check the day. Majority of the few employees only speak Spanish but I rarely have any questions so it's not a problem for me. The store is messy and un-organized, and the prices have become very inflated. Merchandise that is sold in the Dollar Store is marked up double and triple. Men's clothing that I looked at today , none of it new, ranged from ten dollars up, including a sweater with a dime -size hole over the heart with a price tag of 16.99. Recently I overheard an exchange between staff and a gentlemen who paid for furniture (over a hundred dollars) and when he returned to pick it up, found out that it had been sold again to someone else. He was told he'd have to apply to higher ups (at the administrative level) and wait for about a month for a refund. The staff person was not the least bit apologetic and because the man became distraught, began to yell at him. In addition, I have been treated rudely at the drop-off on more than one occasion. Just who do these people think they are!
