Was ambivalent on whether I should grade it three or four stars. Three and a half would seem accurate but since Yelp for some reason still doesn't have a half rating option I have to go for the one that is the closest to the truth. So three stars it is. Which is an upgrade from my initial visit to this place couple of weeks ago. I wanted to initially give it two stars. The place seemed extremely disorganized and half of the shelves were empty. I figured either the store was new or a hurricane I did not know about hit. Neither one seems to be a factoid. It is neither a per say new store and neither did the hurricane messed things up. On today's (my second) visit things seemed somewhat more organized and there was more selection as well. A quarter of the items seemed to be all types of holiday decorations/festive occasion items. There is also a hefty selection of greeting cards. And considering a card costs only a buck (not sure if all of them do) one can find a pretty decent card that does not look like you got it from a dollar store. Plenty of other fun or not fun items, depending on how you look at it, or what you need or don't need at the moment. Such as mugs, little glass containers of all sorts, picture frames, stickers, plastic containers of various sizes and shapes, as well as colors, paper plates, paper and plastic cups, personal care items, pet food and pet care items, various household cleaning items and tools, such as dishwashing liquids, scrub sponges, etc etc Both times I was here that wasn't many people, so that was pretty . Tonight I was here shortly before closing time and it was nice to know that the store was still open till 9. Not sure if this applies to every day or only weekdays like today. This is pretty neat, considering many or most discount or '99' stores on the area close early/earlier now. Overall, a handy discount shop with convenient location and hours. If only they make this place more organized and presentable and employees with a little more enthusiasm, it could very well be brought up to four stars.

ALL CHRISTMAS AISLES BLOCKED

RATING OF -0 .... OOPS I DID IT AGAIN!... I mistakenly assumed that I can actually shop at this dollar tree. Made an ass out of myself. Once again this location is an utter waste of my time. Ok this is my final will NEVER go back here ever again. Manager actually thought that it was a wise idea to place all his deliveries in the Christmas aisle. And take his seeet as time to unload. This man looks lazy. I counted 4 employees all of which were doing NOTHING!!! He sent one to clean front. That could wait! Another on register very sweet girl and another strolled in. Two employees were putting boxes in a bag. TWO!!!!!!! seriously i dont want to here theyre short on staff. There were plenty of people. None of whicb especially this Manager had any motivation to actually move. This man hasnt a clue on how to manage deliveries and moves like a snail. Grabted they so t have loading docks or storage room however every other dollar I go into moves QUICKLY. They place their boxes in tge appropriate aisles at night or quickly in am and take the day to place on shelves. Now the damn F train isnt running and its a mission to get to West 8th. So f ing PISSED. TRAIN this manager! THIS STORE IS A MESS. WAKE UP HEADQUARTERS

HOW IN THE WORLD IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO SHOP HERE??? This is a joke, right? They better pray a fire inspector or someone with a wheelchair never comes in here because they'll be shut down in two seconds. I've never been to a Dollar Tree as messy, disgusting and useless. I wasted my time coming here. I didn't go to my normal one because this was close to the ShopRite I was at. Regret it. Never again.

Deals (a spin-off of Dollar Tree) seems to be expanding a lot in Brooklyn. Here, they've taken over half the space that American Place once occupied. And let me say, they're using the space a lot better. My dad kept raving about Deals, saying it was like K-Mart mixed with a 99 cent store (to him, this is a good thing). But to my surprise, Deals was like a mini-Jack's 99 cent store, but with varying price points (the most common were $1, $3 and $5). I was able to buy a bunch of random houseware stuff on the cheap - $1 martini glasses, random Betty Crocker kitchen tools, canned foods of random off-brands, brand name soaps & shampoos, dinner plates, crappy toilet paper, and tons of other stuff. It's kind of out of the way unless you live in the area or live on the F train, but it's a useful discount store.

It kind of hurts to to write this because I frequent this store often. I came to the store last week to purchase something and noticed that there were shipments of boxes in almost every isle. Boxes obstructed entrances of the beginning and ends of isles to the point you couldn't enter at all. I figured that it was a big shipment and I would come back to get what I need. To my dismay I came back today to find the place just as bad if not worse then I had seen it before. It's an accident waiting to happen. It filthy and unorganized. They need to get it together. I know it's a dollar store, but come on!!!!

The cashier forgot to give me one of my bags or maybe she did it with purpose. I'm so mad right now.

I love coming here. You can find almost anything, but watch out because you'll end up spending a lot thinking that everything is so cheap.

It is a wholesale dealer that sells something that did not sell well in other stores at a nice discount. Some of the items are imperfect products. I love to go in here and walk around for an hour seeing what "treasures" I can find. They have parking lot. One thing to note another reviewer mentioned: The ceilings are leaky. so look up before buying ‍ steer clear of buckets if you can get past these things and have it not bother you in favor of a deal, it's an ok store. It's huge! Some of my best things purchased in here tend to be home decor items personally. They sell 1$ ornaments for the holidays. My favorites are my curtains for my apartment. I also love that they have 5-6$ throw pillows. I constantly come around to replace bathroom rugs and shower curtains and this is the best place to find things that are of good quality on a deal. Think of the things you 100% need but like don't want to spend a fortune on. NWL has your back there. They have a large section of cleaning products which sells things like 5$ Lysol spray and stuff you prob already buy but pay a lot more for. Reminds me of like pergament or even Bobby's. The service is ok you have to be mindful when you are ringing items up that they won't overcharge you - I'm sure they don't intend to but sometimes there are so many items the prices on the tags aren't always updated correctly.

We always had Mini Max and Dee and Dee, which was the old name, before they rebranded, to D2. The store was a discount store but never had anything out of place, they were always friendly and courteous and eager to assist. This location opened up last month and it's much better. Still heat, still friendly, but much larger and bright. Still with great pricing. Hopefully the community welcomes them back with open arms, like I did. It was crowded, so I believe so.

Stumbled upon this discount variety store while strolling down 5th Ave during our trip to New York…read more I was looking for inexpensive t-shirts for my family and certainly found them! They also have housewares, snacks, cheap casual clothes (like leggings, pajamas, underwear, socks, etc...) and lots of household stuff. I wouldn't look for nice outfits or dress clothes here, but what they have is great for casual wear. If I lived here I'd be here a lot! I got 6 t-shirts, a pair of pajama pants and luggage tags for my daughter for under $40! At the airport I would have paid a lot more. Made me happy!

I explained that the dress is $7.99, so I paid and then went to get the other dress to prove it. The cashier went over to the rack and came back with OTHER dresses and then said she "knows how much each clothes are" and said these are "$7.99, not yours". I told her it says that price and she said no. Overall, felt like I was lied, next time I will definitely check the prices. I definitely didn't think the same dresses will have different prices and then have that cashier pretty much say, she knows all the prices even though it says differently. This place is a scam! I wonder how much will it be if I grabbed the $7.99 dress? I don't mind the extra $2, but this is not how business is done. Get yourself together!
