This dollar tree in Canton is extremely rude to white people. I just walked out because I am sick of seeing them be rude as hell to white people especially men and friendly to everyone else. I have gone to this store since before this cashier was born but at least for the past year they have treated me and my wife this way and I have stood back watching how they treat other white people the same way. They don't say a word and turn their backs on white people. They don't tell you how much you owe, won't say hello or thank you and will even just lay our receipt down. This is so blantantly obvious and needs to be addressed by someone. read more

Went here to get some balloons filled for a gender reveal party. We got the balloons at a different place because they were a theme we wanted for our reveal. Offered to do pay money for them to fill it and they refused. They were incredibly rude about it. Don't waste your time at this dollar store. read more

Call me frugal. I am. I am not suggesting you stock up on food here or heaven forbid use them as your primary source for home decor but there are things you can go cheap on and still appreciate. If you have received a present from me in the last eight years you have gotten one in a gift bag I purchased here, the tissue paper was from here too, ribbons, bows, heck maybe even the card. You can find a box of plain envelopes here for a buck. Cheapie spatulas, egg timers or other silly tools. I have bought coffee mugs or a reusable bowl, plate or real silverware for work, a dish for a potluck party so I don't have to worry if I get it back. These sort of things are all great. When I was teaching I got great things for the preschoolers here. You would be shocked. No not toys but objects for sensory play and projects. Tin foil, colorful hair gel, beads to put in our homemade musical shakers and the like. Measuring tools and cups for experiments. Containers to organize supplies. Lots of colors of posterboard. I even got a 10 for 1.00 deal on seed packets that grew awesome things in our school garden. So no, I am not saying they are top notch goods but they have some practical type steals if you look. Usable things that you need not care if they do not last or are not the most stylish. This particular Dollar Tree always seems to have something that works. read more

Dollar Trees are all the same, and yet they are not. Sometimes you find items at one Dollar Tree and then you won't find them at another. I had bought a purple pen the other day at one location and liked it so much I decided to get another but the location I went to next didn't have any of them. Same thing with a bag clip. After I bought it I decided I liked it and wanted a couple more but I've been to two other Dollar Trees and haven't been able to find more of them in either one. This one was mobbed, not surprising considering all the late Christmas shopping. The only person I asked for help was very nice and helped me look for the clips. At least she knew what I was talking about. The guy at the last store didn't. This store had the purple pens so I bought two more of them. This store also had some storage bags that I have bought many times at Dollar Trees over the years but I haven't seen them in any stores for about 3 months. One guy at another store even told me they were seasonal, but the lady at this store told me they have them all the time. See what I mean? The same, yet different. I felt like this store was a little bigger than some and had a pretty good selection. It wasn't very organized but that was just because the customers we're making a mess as they shopped. I'm sure it will look good again tomorrow morning. I mainly came in here on my search for empty boxes to mail some stuff. They didn't have any I could use so I moved on, but I still spend about $11 before I left. read more

I'm not a real " penny pincher" but you really don't have to spend $15.00 on shampoo or /conditioner... Or spend $5.00 on toothpaste! If you are watching your enemies like most of us have to these days, you can get a lot of those "necessities" that we all hate spending our monies on...here at the "Dollar store"! I realized that I can save so much on these things and others . For example you can get dish soap and soft soap..."girlie" necessities and even band aids! They even have name brand stuff!! Don't forget kids birthday parties too.. It's great for that and at Xmas time , those stocking stuffers!! Have fun!!! I even got some great lip gloss and nail art polish for painting small designs on my nails just like at the salon! read more

All I have to say is wow!!! I had such a pleasant shopping experience here. Tyrone the cashier is such an amazing worker and I hope someone pays it forward for him. Once it was my turn for check out he saw that I work in healthcare. I don't know if he knew I was having a bad day, but he offered and paid for my Shopping trip. I almost started crying. This man is a essential worker and should be recognized too for doing just as much good for us during these hard times! The Dollar Tree at 5880 N Sheldon Road, in Canton is always well stocked. Whether I am looking for seeds or something to help me clean my kitchen floor they've got it ready. The prices are right too. I went there just the other day to pick up bags to put on baskets. They are, apparently, called Basket Bags. The way you use them is to make up a basket and wrap one of these bags around them and then blow on them with a hair dryer. The heat shrinks the plastic and the basket looks great. Only I hadn't seen any of these in a package and I was trying hard to find it. Finally I gave in and asked the clerk and in less than a minute I had what I was looking for! Success! The place is kept clean. If you are looking for balloons or other party goods this is a great Dollar Tree to go to the. The clerks and management are hardworking and friendly. It is easy to get into the place too as there is a large parking lot. Because when you exit if you are heading sound on Sheldon, though, it can be busy! read more

After my workout today (next door to the store) I stopped into the Dollar Tree to grab a few i teams. As soon as I hit the door I was approached by a worker and she literally followed me throughout the entire store. I get so uncomfortable and if I wouldn't have needed the items god my trip, I would have walked out. This sales associate (VIK) ended up ringing me up and I even spoke to her, was very polite and she was too consumed with socializing with her co-worker that she tossed my bag once she was done. I love the dollar tree! Everything is a dollar or less and you can find name brand stuff here....Betty Crocker kitchen supplies that are $8 at any other store. $3 cards? 50 cents at dollar tree. Always clean and the workers are friendly. read more
