This is actually a pretty good Dollar Tree and it's super convenient to where I live. I've always managed to find cute things, especially around the holidays. The store has never been too messy when I was there and you won't find a better deal on things like gift wrap, tablecloths. napkins, plastic cutlery and helium filled balloons. Even though all of their products are really inexpensive they are often really good quality and last for a good amount of time. They have just about anything you might be lining for. This is one of the closer dollar trees near me and while it can be very hit or miss I think it is one of the better ones in the area. Their shelves are always stocked with new and cool items, sometimes I have found things of the exact same product I am looking for here, but for a dollar as opposed to more at another store like Walmart or target! The staff is hit or miss though and while some will help you find what you are looking for, others will just stare at you blindly and point to a different aisle and say that it "should" be in that one or close to it. They always have a lot of holiday items for whichever holiday is coming up, and currently they had a lot of Halloween decorations and toys/treats but now they already have Christmas stuff out! They have really cool trinkets for little kids as well as a couple nice, cool little decorations to hang in your house, office or even car! Overall it is a nice little dollar tree that is relatively close to me and because of those reasons, as well as new products every time I am here, I will continue to come to this location and buy things I don't need but want! read more

I bought those socks with the grippers and lotion and squeeze toys and a few other extra stuff for all those moms . I only spent 75 .00 for 27 bags that I'm stuffing with goodies . While I go broke from unnecessary soending, you read this review... This place is great, at times. Sometimes there'll be a wide selection of new items and other times many isles will be empty because they aren't being stocked when you go in to shop. The moment you walk you and look left you are greeted with the registers and to the right are the few racks that are usually stocked with items for the next holiday that is coming up. Each isle is laid out nicely and everything has a place, they even sell greeting cards and little snacks amongst other items such as multiple party favors and even gardening items. My only complaints are the staff aren't the friendliest and many times the items are usually missing from the shelf and the workers look bothered when you ask them to look in the back for the item or items that you are inquiring about. Overall though I love this store and will be back! read more

Today is thanksgiving and my birthday. My sister passed away and it's her birthday too. I had two 24 inch balloons I needed to inflate so that my family can write sweet messages to her and send them off into the sky. I didn't buy the balloons there but it was the only place open to do this for me. I asked the manager if he can inflate them, after letting him know why I needed them and he said no. I even offered to buy balloons there and asked as a favor to blow these two balloons for me. HE DIDN'T WANT TO DO IT. OUT OF KINDNESS IT WOULDN'T HURT YOU TO BE NICE!!!! This store has a lot of good signs. This is especially true during holiday season. You can find some pretty good quality decorative items they sell the Sunday paper here. They also have a large assortment of balloons. The downside is they are very reluctant to open up additional lines. What can I say ? The dollar tree is located in Embassy Lakes shopping center. This shopping strip has ample parking with no wait looking for a spot; just pull up and pull in. You walk in to buy one thing and you leave with 100. Lol the establishment is well lit, spacious , clean and organized. The staff was busy but friendly. They have anything Ftom candy to drug tests. This is definitely a one stop shop of heaven sent items. I bought socks, a drug test, art supplies, make up, earplugs, lump of coal cookies as a joke and a bunch of other little cute things. I loaded up on sour candy and toothpaste l! The line went fast even though it was a bit crowded. I really loved the cashiers attitude because it was a perfect end to my shopping experience. read more

This store is near where I live. I find myself coming here about twice a week. They are hit or miss. Sometimes they have some great finds and other times I cannot find the basics that I need, such as aluminum foil, napkins and paper towels. I find that some sections of the store have completely empty shelves at times, maybe every other week the gift wrap and or card section has a lot of missing products. The store is always short staffed. There are never enough lines open. They do have an amazing selection of balloons for a dollar. The store is conveniently located. I just wish they were more consistent with product selection. read more

I usually avoid this dollar tree because of the customer service. Today Robin rang up my items no hi hello how are you. Then rang up 4 of my items told me the total but I had more items so when I said all the items need to be rang up together she let out a sigh as if I just made ruined her whole life. They're on a conveyer belt but instead of pushing the button to move the items she made us move the items up to her. After I said thank you there was no response from Robin. I'm sorry you don't like your job maybe customer service isn't for you. read more

This is my to go spot for practically all my needs and everything is just $1. This location is less crowded then the others. You cant return without a receipt and they don't return holiday items they dont tell you but usually have signs stating it on the holidays. Some locations have a refrigerated section with food this one doesn't have that. read more

Ummm... this is the one. Like.. totally making a right instead of a left from now on and coming to this location. Everything is so organized and fully stocked and legit is ONE DOLLAR. Always impressed with the little things I can get here without having to overpay somewhere else. A few of my favorite things to get there are the following: balloons, dish sponge, gift bags/cards, vases, candies and planting stuff. A lot of arts and crafts stuff for the kids are pretty cool too. I love Dollar Tree stores and while I am shopping I have to remind myself that everything is only a $1. Wow it is amazing over the years these stores have grown in square footage as well as assortment and variety of items. Since I was in the area and running early for an appointment I stopped in. I always have something I need. Yesterday it was paper plates and I got some plain ones as well as some with a holiday motif. Now isn't that festive! Also they carry Colgate toothpaste. I love the kind with the flip top. They had it but in mint. Just glad to get it as it is three times the price elsewhere. So I bought up all that they had. When you see it buy it because most likely they will not have it when you are in need of it. Looked around some more they had tons of Holiday items, mental note to self to come back soon. read more

The employees are very nice but the customer service needs a little work. Only one cash register was open the few times I went there and I saw a four of the employees restocking.Two registers should always be available in a store so the line can go by quicker. Andrea the manager told me that they do not sell the balloon weights near the balloons because corporate needs to be asked first. This is utterly ridiculous. Why should I have to walk across the store and then way behind the 5 people that waited behind me and have all my items voided to go pick up the balloon-way that should have been near the helium balloons? I came into this store with my mother to buy a few basic household items (tissue, etc). We were in the area after having breakfast at Mayor Cafe. Met the mayor of Pembroke Pines who was a joy! There was about 5 people in the store, none of color (black) other than my mother and I. There was one cashier by the name of Carlos who didn't acknowledge us upon entering. As my mom and I are looking for facial tissue, Carlos's comes storming up asking if I needed assistance. Very interesting that no one else was approached by him in this manner or in general. I told him what I was looking for, he told us where and I communicated this to my mother who was in a different aisle. We were not loud nor disruptive, dressed well, and did not look like "suspicious characters". So it was interesting he came straight to us. It's a dollar general! It was weird because there was no other worker in the store, and he left the register and front door unmanned to address us. As my mother and I walked towards the front, he asked loudly in a stern tone from a different aisle, "Is there anything else?". My mother and I was so confused and simply said no. As if we don't have eyes for ourselves and needed to be guided like children or elders?! Upon my mother and I walking up to the register, there was even a woman waiting at the register for him. So it seemed as if he felt the need to leave his post in a hurry. Really? And then he tries to play it off as if he was straightening the store up. Mind you, my mother, oblivious to what had just possibly occurred, whispered to me about how messy this particular dollar general was compared to the ones near our home in Downtown Miami. Upon walking up, he didn't even want to look me in the face throughout the entire purchase. I'm naturally a friendly guy, but I took the extra initiative to treat him with respect and sincere hospitality. I even called him by his name. Just trying to prove to him that he made a poor assumption, if anything. Even the woman behind us started to engage with us because she saw I was authentically trying to have a fluid conversation. He stayed as cold as ice. He didn't even look me in the face throughout the entire transaction. I simply said "God Bless you" and walked away. Poor guy! So socially conditioned! I don't know if they were recently robbed by people of color, or he was just having a bad day or he just don't know what good customer service is but I would hope this young man would know that overt generalization is what is wrong with this society. It's called racism and discrimination! He looked like he could have been of Indian or Hispanic descent, and I would think, living in this country where the current culturally un-educated administration labels those groups as illegals or terrorist, he would be more understanding. I'm a college educated African American male from a middle class family, visiting from NYC for the holidays. Ignorance is bliss. Racial profiling needs to STOP!
