If I could give this store no stars I would! Edwin the manager at this location is extremely unprofessional in his line of work. He has zero customer service skills, is rude and lacks manager skills. I was kicked out of this location unjust all because I held a door opened for another customer as I was walking in the store. The customer bumped into the manager while not looking where he was going and was asked to leave the store. The manager without question came to where I was at and kicked me out of the store as well because according to the manager I was with the male customer. Even after explaining I didn't know the other customer, I had just held the door open, I was told I needed to get out and the cops were being called. Mind you, I've been to this location several times and he's even seen me with my children. When I called to obtain the store number, the manager tried to explain how sorry he was but let's face it, the damage was already done. There was a long line, so Rose Marie opened another line, and instead of taking me first, since I was next in line, she helped the people behind me and others. Shop wisely in places like this. The joy that everything costs a dollar can seduce you into thinking you are not spending much. Or getting a remarkable deal. Those items can add up quickly. That being said, I have been searching high and low for doggie toys that squeak. This after 99 Cent Only stores stopped carrying the soft, squeaky oranges and strawberries that simply drive my dogs nuts. Even my little chihuahua-mouthed Lilly could get her little jaws around them, and would play for hours. We stocked up, but those toys do not last forever. I found some here that are almost as durable, and have the same canine magnetism as the other ones. And even though the squeak usually dies within the first two days, the toy still breathes softly if you squish it, enough that my dogs love chomping on them. Phew. This is a major find. I was there with my son 6 years old in the store to return items, the cashier lady was so nice and told me can't refund stuff but we can exchange, as I told her that the previous cashier that I bought the stuff notified me I can return them since before valentine no problem, so the cashier very nice told me sorry mame this is our policy, to exchange but her manager should do that transaction. So we were waiting for the store manager for 6 mins until she came in to help the cashier, when she came in she was talking to the cashier in an attitude so I told her I am the one who is asking and gave me another attitude so I raised my voice and told her speak better than this way and explain to me what should we do now so she told.me u gonna wait until my other manager yassenia as I remember to help me because I will not do anything for u. Imagine I waited till the other store manager yassenia will come and my back hurts me and I am doing treatment on it and I have doctors notes that I should not stand that long and notified her my back hurts she left and through my items on the cashier desk. As a teacher, this place almost always has what I need, and more! Whether it be stickers, containers, teaching supplies, craft supplies, reading glasses, picture frames... you name it, they most likely have it! I love the dollar tree. I'm also a fan of the 99 cent store and 89 Ranch and any cheap Asian markets I can find lol So yeah you could argue that some items are not that great of a value, and going to a regular grocery store for certain things might be a better way to spend your money... But then there are some items that seem totally worth getting at the dollar tree. I like to get the double cheese lunchables when they have them (it seems like they are frequently out of these), the frozen fish sticks and frozen mozzarella sticks. Seriously I loveeeeee the fish sticks and mozzarella sticks! For a buck you get like 5-6 sticks and you can just poo in the microwave for an individualized snack. Not the healthiest ordeal I know, but still pretty sweet! They have plenty more random like items that make it worth it to come here. read more

We bought a dozen helium balloons, and had arm loads of stuff we had to carry out so were not able to check everything there and then. We were short changed 2 items and called in to let them know. A gal said to simply come on back in to the store but when we did, the manager, Javier had a major attitude, was rude and loud in his tone in front of other customers, and would not give us credit for 2 items.
