It's right next to Tostada Regia, and is aimed at the Hispanic Community. Lots of cheap stuff and plenty of discounts to be had. In some ways it's better than a dollar general or Family Dollar, in other ways, it's not. You'll see for yourself when you come in, but they have a lot of stuff which other stores don't have and it's well worth your time. We always come here when we go to the restaurant next door which is one of the best Mexican restaurants and Monterey style restaurants in the whole world - so make sure you read my review of that place before you eat there so you know what to get.

They have items that other store are coming there to buy and resale at their stores. I know they got a low rating but try them for yourself. Understand that other vendors that don't want these guys around. They're cheaper and better than the other stores because I've been to most of them. They all told me that they can't compete with this place and they don't know how these guys can have prices so low. What does that sound like to you? I have a lot of the kitchen items such as their dishes, stovetop liners, and chopsticks, but I also enjoy their home accessories such as their house slippers, plushies, and stationary. The snack area always has a lot of fun options to munch on during my trip back home! They also have excellent car accessories, so I have even purchased car cushions from here (they're pandas!). There are some basic items that they carry all year and then specialty things that come and go. Some of the sections: gardening, toys, makeup and hair, electronics, storage, kitchenware, pets, snacks, camping, etc. You can grab some necessities as well as whimsical things. The parking is more than ample, selection is out of this world (who needs to go to Japan when we have a Teso Life close by?), prices decently fair, and facilities clean. One item category that sticks out is the 3D puzzles. I wish I snapped a photo of that. Other items include Asian drinks, ramen, sunblock, beauty supplies, and so much more. Teso Life shares a parking lot with other high foot traffic stores like 99 Ranch for Asian groceries, Paris Baguette for pastries and desserts, LadyM for the best crepe cakes, Somi Somi for the world's best Taiyaki, and much much more! The shopping center is located close to Dairy Ashford and Westheimer, just north of Alief and not too far from Chinatown which has been expanding west. Enjoy!
