Wow, a dollar store that sells things for a dollar. Not 1.99 or 10.00 like other so-called dollar stores. Being a snob I never frequented dollar stores in the past, but the recession will change a person. These days I'm shocked at what a dollar can buy. While the name-brand traditionalist in me prefers Pine Sol, I can do a little $1 Pine Glo or Fabuloso on occasion. This go-around I bought some dinner plates, household odds and ends and cleaning supplies. I only buy things that are simply made- no mechanical parts that can break and no knock-off batteries- ever. read more

What can I say? I love this place! Everything is for a $1. Very friendly staff. Always greeted while walking through the doors. Lots of fun crafty item for the kids. Today I noticed they have a new stock of nail polish. Couldn't help but to grab a few. Nice organized in it's own little section by color. My kids love coming here. read more

Today 05/06/18 Sunday afternoon, the cashier that rang us up and the manager were both incompetent and didnt know what they were doing. Not making too much of a fuss as I just chose to pay to not hold the line, but I have to point it out. The poster boards ad stated $.60 per piece or 2 for $1. I bought 4 (3 colored 1 white). The register didn't recognize it so I pointed it out to the older lady cashier. She said "ok just pay for them now and I'll call the manager." Sooo I asked her (politely) "are you saying you want us to pay in full now then refund me the difference after? That's is just a waste of time." She wasn't understanding at all. The next cashier attendant called the manager to come to our register to fix the price. The young lady manager comes and says "the poster boards are only 2 for $1 for the colored ones. Okkk...fine but we have 3 so 2 should be 2 for $1 then. Ugh both were so slow to understand and a line was starting to form so I was just like whatever Ill just pay. I wasn't irritated from paying the extra $.38. Its just the fact that BOTH cashier AND MANAGER were so slow/couldn't understand. And the energy they had that ALL customers are wrong even without hearing what they had to say. How in the world did they get their positions? They should be doing another job than cashiering worse yet managing. 2 stars for the great price . As I just came from Party USA on Boca Park and spent more than what I spent here for less amount of items. 3 less stars for employees that makes you scratch your head. read more

I come here quite often as they carry the gum that my hubby likes. It's close by and the cashiers are always very friendly. It does tend to get a bit crowded if coming around the time kids get off of school. Can't beat the prices for the little snacks. Always a go to stop when going out on a road trip or headed to the strip for a few days. Chips drinks and candy for the room. I bought lots of snacks for our New Years Eve on the strip and the kids had tons of stuff to snack on in the room. Love the card section, cards are so expensive and sometimes you can get two cards for $1.00. read more

This is the closest Dollar Tree to my home, but my husband needed to run an errand in the opposite direction that was a bit of a drive from us but in the same parking lot was another Dollar Tree. Of course I signed onto Yelp to read reviews about both of the Dollar Tree stores to compare. This specific location has a better star rating and almost all of the reviews commented on the friendly staff, some even saying you're greeted on the way in, and the cleanliness. I assumed I would find what I was looking for at either store, but I wanted to go to the one with the better reviews. My husband disagreed, he thought it made more sense to go to the other store because it was next to our errand and I was still going to find what I was looking for....admittedly it does make more sense but I effortlessly make everything harder than it needs to be. So we came to THIS location first & then turned around to go to our errand PLUS we went to the other location just because it was there in the same parking lot and I had to see for myself the differences between the stores...not much except that the other location was much more clean and organized. I have to say....I was a little offended not to be greeted at the door hahaha, everyone else apparently has been greeted why not me too? Maybe I visited this location after their rush because it honestly wasn't as clean as most of the reviews I read had started. Actually I was kind of surprised to walk in and see how messy it looked inside...if this is how it is normally...I wonder what clean is defined as to the other reviewers because this was not it. But they did have what I was searching for and that is all that really matters....to me anyhow. It's a Dollar Store....you get what you pay for! read more

Lots of stuff for $1. Much of it is junk. Lines tend to be long. Honestly adequate only in cases of emergency.

Yesterday I lost my car keys in the store while shopping. The manager and the staff spent over an hour looking for them I have never felt so appreciated as they searched the entire store. Eventually they showed up in a wheeled cart that someone had used after my purchase. The manager was so kind and dedicated to helping me. Best service ever. Every single time I have come to this location there is only one cashier working. The line was back to the cooler section and the balloon line was just as long. Everyone is asking is there anyone else that can help and she respond no I'm by myself today. One customer asked how that was possible on Saturday morning and she replies my manger is here but he said he's busy so he can't help. What type of manager let the customer have this type of experience yet alone put that type of strain on his employees. Let's just say I won't try this location again read more

I usually come to this location all the time to get items for my classroom. This time I came and was checking out and was told the line I was in was closed so I went to another and was told the same. Finally I get to a lane that was available and waiting in line. It was my turn to get rung up and the cashier walks away without saying a word to me and begins blowing up balloons. I wait 7 mins in line asking other workers is this line is open still. Then the lane that I was told was closed opens up and everyone goes there and here I am in line ( the back of the line) for another 10mins. I asked to speak to a manager and told him my situation and he said "Are you just telling me this or you want me to do something about it" I never been around in that store where they were so rude. read more

The dollar tree is the best when it comes to needing to purchase things for a birthday party for children and or adults. I don't believe in spending $10 or more on ONE balloon at per say Party City when I can come to the good ole dollar tree and get 10 balloons for $10! I don't come here a lot but when I do it's for simple things like that. read more

I needed some neon headbands and accessories for an 80's Party and Dollar Tree had what I needed. You never know what you are going to find in a dollar store, this time it was that lost treasure. Surprisingly, the Dollar Tree has some nifty little finds... especially around the holiday season. Cute coffee mugs, wrapping paper, ornaments. The employees are usually pretty nice, although the only interaction I've ever had with them is through the checkout line. read more

if I could give this location a ZERO-star, I would. So here's a lousy ONE-star instead :) I've never been to this location before, BUT from the VERY POOR customer service that I've received over the phone made me to not EVER want to come here!!! Today (02/25/16 at 1:15PM), i called the store to ask if they have a certain product available/in stock. This worker...lets just call him, "Matt/Mark" answered the phone. I asked KINDLY, "Hi, I was just wondering if you have a certain item in stock: it's called 'Sassy and Chic' and they're these press-on nails. it's right at the nails and makeup aisle." NOTE: that I live 45 minutes away from this location; I didn't want to drive all the way here to find the item OUT OF STOCK, right? AND on another NOTE: I told him what aisle section it would be at so it'll be easier for a guy to find these girly things. ANYWAY, his tone of voice was SUPER RIDICULOUSLY just SO RUDE! he said, "Uhhh NO! I'm at the register. I can't go check really quick because no one is on the floor." Okay, I get that he may be the ONLY one literally just working in that store, but he also could've been pleasant & also think of me also as a customer, as well, even though I'm not in the store! What I THINK he should've done is to ask for my number, so in the meantime, (whenever he has the free time), to go look for ONE item if it's in stock or not, and then call me after to confirm. I actually would've just offered to give my number to him anyway just so he can check for it when he has the time, BUT WITH THAT SASSY-PANTS ATTITUDE? HECK NO. :) I will NEVER go to this location ever even though I haven't gone here. Ha! read more

LOVE this place! i am CHEAP, so of course i can relate to this "concept". Frankly, i'm not "trendy" or "politically correct", so purchasing items from another country, is not a problem. (i have a coat made in Russia during the "cold war" so..) The staff here is the deal-they are SPLENDID! No one is whiney, attitudinal, or brain dead. You're greeted at door, and no one "follows you"-even the other shoppers are nice! The best place for greeting cards and cleaning products. And if you pay attention, you can get "no test" sundries. i find alot in here that i can get nowhere else-night light bulbs for one. Once in awhile a box is in the aisle, but someone ALWAYS moves it! VERY clean for this type of store-(the one on So. Rainbow is FILTHY-see my review) but the staff here is what keeps me coming back-i've worked retail and i get it. Usually I have a great experience with this store until today. I came in to purchase some candles and cleaning supplies, check out got backed up, not an issue for me since I've worked retail in the past, so no big deal, the cashier called Maria up to help check people out faster. Let me tell you, Maria S. is the most unprofessional cashier I've EVER encountered, she's extremely rude, and was slamming my items around acting like me and the other customers were such a big inconvenience to her, like we were ruining her day. She couldn't even be bothered to greet any of us, put a smile on her face and was just rushing us out, and yet they have this little snot nosed girl in management?! Unbelievable, I will be finding corporates number to let them know what kind of disrespectful employees they have. If I find any of my things damaged because of how she was handling my candles I'll be going back for a refund. She really needs to be fired. She's the worst at her job. read more
