I don't know if it was my imagination or not but it seemed like this store had a wider selection than some. I found things in here that I had looked for in other stores but hadn't found but also one item I was looking for and had bought in the past at another store that this one didn't have. I was glad to find the things that I did. But I was surprised that the little coconut oil that used to be a dollar, had gone up to $3.75! It seemed like they were out of it for a while and I had no idea the price had gone up so much until I checked my receipt at home. love this store and recently had the best experience ever with a store manager Teresa who walked with me to help me find an item and then helped me find it online with dollartree and I love this location, I've been to many of the others and love those stores also, but I always try to go to this location when I am in the area... Pricier than in the past, but still good values for low prices. This location has a better selection than many others, and is cleaner with more of a fresh air odor. Good service here too, and a spacious parking lot. read more

Went there this morning after 8:00am. Sign read, closed until further notice. A woman in the parking lot with 2 children stated that a woman in the store yelled at her through the glass doors that the store is closed then flipped her off. I didn't need anything, I was just bored. And I was out of candles. Some people spend a million bucks on B&BW candles, and so do I every so often, but I have a secret...Dollar Tree. There are candles out there of your favorite baked goods. I don't mean generic ones. I mean branded. They burn clean, are long-lasting, and fill the house with yummy smells. Think I'm baking? Sike! They carry M&M, Krispy Kreme and Pillsbury candles. I'm not kidding! When I run low, time to hit the Dollar Tree! Today I loaded up on Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie. The other thing I always get are books. You'd be surprised, but I have found a few good ones for just that one green GW. I may have also gotten a Rockstar and some Takis for snack. And a pizza cutter. And Sangria soda... What I don't like about this store: It is not well kept, nor is it organized. Stuff is everywhere, and there are boxes blocking already small aisles. It isn't the cleanest either. The floors are a mess. Like a bomb went off in there and the looting juat started. I was lucky to have gone when there weren't too many people in there. Long lines for the solitary cashier is no fun. I've ditched all my stuff and walked put before. Overall, you can get some pretty good stuff. Just don't get caught up in buying cheap stuff that is a dollar, but may actually be less in a regular store. Know your deals, man! read more

Dollar Tree - Discount Store Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I love dollar tree and this was no exception. I was wide open in clean and the people there are just so nice and friendly. The gentleman who waited on me I was very sweet. I got all of the gift wrapping items that I needed to wrap gifts that I had sent to Arizona from My Home in Rhode Island. I am here celebrating Christmas with three of my five children and sixth of May 11 grand children. So I send the gifts ahead and then come to dollar tree to get what I need to wrap them up. If you're a dollar tree fanatic like me you'll LOVE this location! I always meet the kindest customers and employees here. It has the best selection of any DT I've been to in east Mesa, probably because it used to be another store (looks like grocery store?) that was made into a DT. This location is much bigger than most DT and has a different layout due to the size. read more

For the most part, this dollar tree is A-ok! As a frequent visitor of dollar trees throughout the valley, I must say that this one is clean and organized. It's not as organized as the one in Chandler or the one in Fountain Hills...but it tries its best. I'm sure this location is busier than those two as well. It is good considering the location it is in. What's cool about this location is that they have a frozen section, which not all dollar trees have. There were two things that kind of frustrated me: 1) you can't take the carts outside and 2) there was a line almost to the back of the store and they had one guy working the registers who was moving at snail speed. I don't know why he didn't call for back up or why the manager didn't peek out from his cozy office...it was pretty annoying. read more

Every time I go here, the day manager is stomping around, angry look on her face, looking down when she gets close to customers in the aisles. Two days before Xmas, she started yelling (loud) at this old homeless guy (obviously mentally ill) throwing his knapsack outside telling him he couldn't come into the store. All of us in line just looked at each other, scared she was going to turn on one of us next. Two days later, I went back to get an item and mentioned to the afternoon manger her coworker scared customers a few days before. She stated she agreed with the day manger that employees have to scare people in the store to keep them from stealing. She went on to say "The corporation doesn't care. They know, and they don't care. They under staff this store on purpose." There's another Dollar Tree 3 miles south that is welcoming, staff is helpful and customers chat with each other while waiting in line. Go to the one at Power and Southern. If you have to go to the one at Power and Main, take a friend to be safe from the angry workers. Don't forget, there are 99 cent stores everywhere too. read more

This is the worst Dollor Tree I've ever been in. I was greeted at the entrance twice, 2 different times with disdain. Couldn't find things, hated to ask. Empty shelves or sloppy ones. I was starting to wonder if it was really a store or a front for what's really going on. read more

We recently visited the store on Main and Power. My wife needed a few items. We had our grandchildren with us at the time. My wife is disabled. She needs a cart or a walker to make it through the store. She has a severe neuropathy and recently had knee surgery. My wife had to use the restroom very bad. We were told that the restroom is only for employees only. We asked several employees if we could use the restroom. They say it's in their stock room so you're not allowed in. I know they have rules but sometimes rules need to be broken. They could've escorted my wife personally to the restroom since she was in dire need. Or what if my little small grandson really need to use the bathroom. They tell you to go across the parking lot to Big Lots store. My grandchildren had picked out about 15 items they wanted to buy. And we had about 30 items there was a long line and we cannot wait. My wife had sent our granddaughter out to the car to get me to help her in and she watched from the door to make sure that my granddaughter made it across to my car the employee yelled you cannot take your cart outside. She told him she hadn't even paid for the item yet. When you have balance issues and you can't walk it's very important to either have a walker or Catt they don't have one cart that can be taken out to the parking lot they all have the big tall poles. So disgusted with their policy that we just left all the items in the cart and went to big lots. We will never go in that store again. A store should have a working restroom for small children or anyone that is in dire need of restroom. We decided to go to Dollar tree over off of Guadalupe Rd. And Val Vista. They have a restroom !!!you have to get a key before using which is no problem. You can take your cart to your car no poles. If they have a problem with their carts being stolen at the dollar tree on Main and power they should still at least have one cart for a person thats disabled that they can get to and from the store if they have many packages. I gladly would return the cart back into the store after getting my wife to the car. She was in agony and felt like just peeing on there floor and letting them tell them they have a clean up in main aisle. Employees were not very understanding with the situation. read more
