This is probably one of the most cleanest stores. It was really clean. The products are cheapy, but they have a great selection of craft stuff, so that's what I usually get. The other stuff, I don't really care. I did buy fake mustaches and I have to say they are better quality than some of the costume stores I go to. $1 for 6 different mustaches. Win. As a costumer, this is a fun place to get some trinkets to make stuff. I dunno about actual stuff to use, but I like some of the toys/crafts. Great Deal: Gift Bags, cards and party supples!!! Came here with my mom to get a few things and while we are checking out in the first lane a worker named heather comes and tells us to go to isle 2 instead when we already had all of our stuff out of the shopping cart and I have a broken foot with a cast. Glad to see how helpful and accommodating she was to us ( just kidding ! ) she then proceeded to help another customer on isle 1 where we were originally so for some reason she chose who she wanted to help and tossed us to the side. She even made a nasty face at the girl she helped after she walked away like she was mocking the girl . Totally unprofessional. read more

You dropped everything you were doing to assist me on a merchandise that was not ln the floor. You went the extra mile to check your inventory report and then you went to the stockroom to retrieve the unopened package. Not only that, you were friendly, full of smiles and full of sunshine. Thank you. I had a similar issue at a different location. I phoned in to check inventory with the manager prior to visiting the store. I arrived to the store, the associate and the manager told me if its not on the floor then its sold out. What?! I spoke to the manager over the phone and in person! Variety of items, I want to say they have a larger seasonal section than other Dollar Trees' that I have gone to. I love the party aisle as they have tons of various props, streamers, banners, etc and it's all coordinated. Bigger, friendlier, cleaner. :) read more

Surprisingly nice, friendly customer service at this location. Despite the way some people tend to shop here, (rifling through the displays, shelves, etc.), the store is rather neat and organized. So far I've found what I needed whenever I go to this Dollar Tree. I love the randomness of being able to find things like glow stick bracelets, plastic containers and best of all, gift bags galore. This dollar tree had everything that I wanted to purchase but the only problem was the smell of the store. When I walked in I smelled a whoof of fart not sure what it was but it stank the whole store. I bet the employees are just working there because they have to. If it was me I would quit on the spot. This location is great!! although they might not be as big as the location on rosemead, the staff there truly make a difference in your shopping experience. I had called them on Monday because i wanted to purchase 2 cases of a specific kind of martini glass (for restaurant use) and wanted to see if they had it available. Unfortunately, they only had 7-8 pieces left at the time, but the gentleman i spoke with (Pedro) informed me that it was on of their regular item, took down my information, and told me he would give me a call back on Thursday once they get their next shipment to tell me if more had been delivered. Sure enough he called back on Thursday, and before i know it, two dozens had been placed aside , waiting for me to pick them up. When I arrived that afternoon, a lady by the name Nora (I believe she was a manager) rung up my transaction, and even helped me carry the two dozens of glasses to my car. Now that's customer service! Great place to browse after dim sum. You never know what you might find for a dollar. Socks with traction so you won't slip on the floor. Squigee to wipe your glass shower door. I called and asked if they had certain balloons the gentleman that answered the phone confirmed they did have the balloon I need I drove 45 mins to get there and the same gentleman man said oh I guess we don't have it . I asked if I can plz buy the display one since I drove all the over here for nothing practically. The manager was called she smiled the whole time didn't even register that that was bad costumer service . I then told her she should maybe teach her employees since they are a reflection of the manger and her inability to train them correct . She proceeded to tell me that that was inappropriate when All I was saying is she needs to be better inorder to not have these issues . I literally drove mid traffic for nothing. All the employee had to do was open the drawer and make sure there actually was something in it not confirm there was for someone to drive over there and then judged because I was upset that they messed up !!! Where have you been all my life? I spent $5.99 on wrapping papers, $4 for paper tablecloths, $5 for plastic utensils all my life and I go in here and they're a dollar. If I had a million jaws, they would drop sequentially and make the coolest domino effect ever. I never took a second look at aluminum balloons but here I'm the biggest aluminum balloon fan. I want to be St. Angie, go to an orphanage but instead of adopting a soccer team, I'd give em all aluminum balloons. Everything is better with fancy bows, occasion specific wrapping papers (funerals, you say, well check out these humongous black bows to adorn your box of sympathy with), and silver plastic utensils. They sell food too, but I dunno about those. Heck, when did you start worrying about what you're eating? The Mcrib is back and have you seen what that looked like when it came out of the cardboard box? Fudge, while we're on the subject, you ever noticed how McNuggets come only in two shapes (the one that looks like a jelly bean and the one that has a little finger coming out of the jelly bean)? One of my many favorite dollar trees in the area. Always has a big selection of party supplies, cleaning goods for the home, decorations, snacks for the kiddos, you name it they got it. I like to go there to buy trash bags. You can't beat the price a box of 18 tall kitchen. Trash bags for 0.99!!! What a deal. My one stop shop for almost anything! read more

Good store to check out for both schools and household items. I liked their hand sanitizers, cards, tests, wipes, and snack deals. I got my cap, laundry bag and combs but broke it after a short while. Anyhow, it's a good place for a dollar stretch. read more

The cashier named Maribel according to the receipt, was very rude! Unprofessional, no customer service skills what so ever, no courtesy, do not value the customers, and made a rude and unprofessional remark towards me! She said '' she should have bought a bag'' to her coworker while I was getting my stuff after I paid. This is unacceptable. Her behavior is ridiculous. She should just be a stock person in the back instead of the cashier ( which is the face of the store as you deal with customers). Her coworker is also rude because she did not acknowledge the customer and was talking amongst her and Maribel ( the cashier ) and talked about jargon. they humiliated me just because I did not buy a bag. I felt such racism and discriminated against in this store. I dont think these kind of people should work here. You have just lost a customer and i will never recommend anyone visiting this store. Its ridiculous! Bad service, never stocked up, slow service and rude people. Not even hi, thank you, thanks for waiting, nothing ! To top it off, she made fun of me just because I didnt buy a bag. This location is messy, but the service here is not bad... The workers are friendly and try their best to help you find something. A somewhat frugal person needs his bargains. This Dollar Tree store fits the bill. It's cleaner than most dollar stores - yes, not only Dollar Tree. Some of the stuff is worth getting here, others not so much. For example, some of the bath/cleaning/laundry stuff as well as the gift wrapping things is worth getting. (Note that some of the stuff has Prop 65 warning) Food, is a hit or miss. Some, such as the batteries, are not worth getting (batteries there don't last as long as the expensive brands). The people that work here are nice enough. A frugal person like me should go here often to find his bargains. Hey, it even has my initials. A sign that it is a win-win! read more

Many people shop here then walk over to the dim sum place next door. The sign say you are allowed 3 hours of parking. But if you are not in the Dollar store all that time, the manager will not hesitate to tow your car away. He gets a cut back, I saw him do it many times. read more
