Ollie's doesn't sell wine (or any alcohol, for that matter). Too bad! But if you're in the market for discounted boxes of Hungry Jack mashed potatoes, bird feeders, comforter sets, off-brand slider storage bags, water guns and neoprene gloves, Ollie's is your store. There's a lot of stuff everywhere, and honestly, it's a little overwhelming. Ollie's takes a page from the Aldi playbook: There are just ripped open boxes of items on the shelves. To heck with aesthetics -- Ollie's is too busy saving you money to fiddle around with arranging items on a shelf nicely. I stopped in to get some lotion, and wouldn't you know, I could only find one bottle of lotion in the whole store. It wasn't a brand that I would have normally bought, but you can't be picky at Ollie's. You get what you get or you can get the eff out. Visiting Ollie's is like participating in a treasure hunt. You don't know what you'll find, or if you'll find anything at all. But it's worth a shot to stop in and try.

There are basically the same store and price range. They are both about the same size and much larger than the one on Dixie Hwy here in Louisville. I wish our store had as much as these do in Jeffersonville. They are lucky to have these stores I will say that. They have way more than Louisville. Basically everything from A to Z, and are more organized than Louisville store, I don't have anything personal against the only Ben's Bargain in Louisville, I just wish they had as much and were more organized. If I lived closer I'd be in the Jeffersonville one all the time. I could've spent hours in there but time didn't allow. I hope to come back that way someday.

Additional note for anyone who may need appliances. Bargain Supply has been our "go-to" place for appliances for many years. Since I was concerned the dryer mentioned above might not be repairable, I visited Bargain Supply on Saturday to look for a replacement. They pulled up my previous purchases and then helped me select a dryer they had in stock, should I have needed a new one immediately, knowing I was "just in case shopping". That's service!
