If you are as obsessed as I am with Halloween, or on the hunt for this year's must have TJX/HG decor, you'll want to scout out this location. It's not the biggest in the Kentuckiana area, but it has the LARGEST Halloween decor variety that I've seen this year and the most well organized. They have grouped themes together very well. And by the way, if you find a spider web fan candelabra, lmk! I've only seen one this year and it was missing a candle cup. This store is also very accessible with ample parking, a ramp, and automatic doors. Not sure if we were there at shift change or what, but it was confusing that there 5 team members at the front for awhile and only 1 of them was ringing up the growing line of customers. When they got a second register open, things definitely started moving again and they were helpful and nice when it was my turn. Like I said, there might be a reason we don't know of, but other customers commented on it to me and I agree it was confusing, hence the 4/5. read more

Still my place! I only go when I have nothing else to do so that I can slowly walk every aisle. With the season changing I wanted to visit. We walked out with several things today - decorative pillows, artwork, garden decor, bathroom accessories, comfy pouf and pet bowls. The cart was full! Check out was fast and the clerk was attentive to my breakables. I appreciate they have paper available to bundle them up! I'll be back when I need another round of shopping therapy! read more

As somebody who is an avid HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls shopper and even owns a credit card with them, I will be canceling it immediately! The young brunette girl at the front was absolutely rude and down right nasty. She was disrespectful and as someone who has worked customer service for many years I would NEVER talk to a customer yet alone an adult the way she did. She represents your business and wanted to argue with me! Just admit that you were wrong and apologize for any inconvenience but you just HAD to be right. I will NEVER shop at this location ever again. read more

When we went in, the store was very busy, but my mom asked a salesperson about a lamp shade. I believe her name might have been Saundra. She was so nice and stopped what she was doing and said that she just might have it in the back. No time later the lady came out and made our day. So friendly and helpful. She could have said no or never came back but it was obvious that she was a superb employee. read more

Service at this location was terrible. items mismarked & when questioned they were offended. Ended up we were right. No apologies. I love this store. I've been here a bunch of times and it's still my favorite home-y store. They have everything from rugs to kitchenware. The store itself is pretty organized so it's easy to go straight in and find what you're looking for. Currently, they're wearing masks. There is also a sign that strongly recommends customers do the same. They have hand sanitizer available for use as well. read more

I searched all of Louisville* for a body pillow and I wound up at HomeGoods. That's neither here nor there; it's just a statement. Actually, I guess it's 'here.' The pillow was a hit and the price was right. I had every intention of buying this comfy, large, awesomely-on-the-nose present from a local purveyor, but I couldn't find one that sold one. Either the pillow was too flat, too short or not even really a pillow. Or, they sold out of them in the summer. After going from pillar to post, I opened my mouth and asked the question to the ladies working at the last store I visited: 'Why is it so hard to find a body pillow [like this]?' One of the workers, after pointing me to a few examples in her store said, 'I probably shouldn't be saying this but... go to HomeGoods. There are plenty of what you're looking for there.' I felt as though I had stumbled upon the bedding version of the Da Vinci Code. I took my knowledge and left before we were seen/overheard by others. Sure enough, I arrived at HomeGoods and, in the middle of the store, was an abundance of body pillows of all sizes, shapes, colors, and brands. From the seasonal to the high-end, I had my pick of what I was looking for. I am all about shopping local and patronizing the hometown store but sometimes the big brand has what you need. After picking out the perfect present, I took some time to walk around the store (my first time in one). I was pretty happy with what I saw. I am not often in the market for a HomeGoods-type purchase but the next time I am, I can see myself heading to one again. Or, maybe just this one. This store was nicely laid out and full of merchandise. I don't know if this is typical of the brand or not. I was looking for Christmas gifts & usually have good luck finding great gifts but not this time. Since the majority of the Christmas items were moved to the front of the store it was so crowded & cluttered it was hard to find anything; was rather disappointed. read more

I am currently in the process of redoing different areas of my home, and visited HomeGoods. This store is an offshoot of T.J. Maxx, so expect similar prices. I was so impressed with the organization of the store. There is kitchen, storage, bathroom, furniture, and bedroom section. I found exactly what I was looking for at great prices. The type of shower curtain I had been looking for was ranging about $30-$60 online on other websites. I found a really nice fabric shower curtain at Home Goods for $15. Its awesome. It was nice to find reasonable prices in a well organized store and not have to dig for what I was looking for. Looking forward to checking this place out for more future home projects. read more
