This location has a better selection than 86th and 50th when items are in stock... I'm not sure if it's distribution issues or staffing issues but the shelves are consistently bare. It seems to have gotten worse since the pricing went to $1.25 and higher price points under the new model... The discount bread racks here though...that is a shining star for this location. Sara Lee and Ballpark as well as other name brands are often available for $1.25. A definite plus.

It's not just cheaply made items either. You will find a variety of name brand items like toys, sporting goods, candies, t-shirts, etc here. You can also find cheap phone chargers, headphones, iPad cases, etc as well! I'm not sure if all Family Dollar stores are this nice or just this one because it's new. The items and layout of the items were all neatly organized and the store is kept clean. It reminded me of a Walgreens/CVS when shopping inside. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The prices of items here are great!
