You may not feel comfortable purchasing certain items that are over expiration date (I know I didn't feel comfortable purchasing 29 cent Lunchables that were a year over expiration), but canned goods last forever and frozen foods have a much longer shelf life. I was able to get aluminum foil for 49 cents, canned veggies for 49 cents each and a box of 20 granola bars for a little over $2.00. I believe they are open from 10am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. After 5 minutes or so of trying to help him the cashier called the manager to help her. There were 7 ppl in line. The manager came over and was assisting the cashier. She left and came back twice. A customer in line asked her if she could open another register due to the wait at the time literally being 15 minutes. She snapped at him stating Im the manager and I have to help her. When the customer asked if there was anyone else she said no shes on lunch youll have to wait. Another 5 minutes goes by and two customers walked out to which the manager was unbothered. She finally after another 5 minutes moved the customer to the other register and let the cashier check out the long line of ppl. So it took almost 30 minutes in line to check out. Ridiculous. I was on my lunch which is why I timed everything I was about to walk out myself when she finally let the cashier check us out. Horrible customer service.

Honestly at first I was getting amazing deals and then I noticed the bins started to be less and less valuable. It was more junkie items than electronics or fancy things you can use. Then, they raised their price from $8 to $10 but the items did not get better. I noticed that the items they advertise they have they do not put it out. I think the owners and employees keep the good things for themselves or sell them privately because they'll claim they have something but you never see it in the bin or see anyone find it. They keep a couple of expensive good items behind the glass counter and tell people it's for the raffle at a certain time and yet if you wait around they change the time and say well actually we'll draw at so and so time and by then who'd want to wait another 2 hours for the next raffle. If you want a deal the only day to go is Friday and Saturday. After that good luck searching in a pile of junk. I don't go anymore and my friends that I have brought got tired of paying $10 for broken items so we agreed we would rather just pay full price but know we are getting quality items that work. My friend has bought a broken slow cooker, and I bought a toy to later find out it's broken. You have to sort out things that were dumped in these assembly lines. Expect to dig through piles of stuffs and spend 1-2h at Metro Merch.
