A lot of stuff was on the floors more than the shelves itself. OVERALL: Not satisfied at all. Maybe for something quick, but I wouldn't come back to this location

This is about Dollar Tree, store number 11045,,123 Rockland Center, Nanuet, NY. The shopping plaza…read morewhere Aldis is located. Normally, I love this store. Everyone is helpful and nice. BUT today, I was treated like crap. The white lady employee with the longer blonde/gray hair, what a disrespectful and nasty cow. Not only to me but to a sweet old lady. The tone and the words used, unnecessary. There is a way to speak to people, not only on your private life, but WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC! And when I said, please don't speak to me like that, she WENT OFF. I wasnt able to catch her name as she had it hidden. The first time she nastily TOLD me something, I answered, I'm not leaning on the display, I'm looking past it. "I SAW YOU AND YOURE DOING IT AGAIN!" I was holding it so I wouldn't knock it over. I just walked away. After a bit I came back around to the aisle as I needed something in it, she went apeshit. I replied, I take responsibility for myslef of I slip on the damp floor, I need something and I'm leaving. She just. Would. Not. Stop. And then that's when I matched energy. What employee acts like that? And interacts with customers so aggressively. And yes, I calle d her óut on her behaviour. How dare you take that tone with a customer. She also over theatrically "acted" out what I supposedly did to her manager? Co worker? Who did NOTHING to deescalate her behaviour. If and when you go into this particular Dollar Tree, and she's working, just leave. Side note, I never write bad reviews unless they are 100% warranted. And because of this, I have to give 2 stars because my cashier, Kyla, was a pleasure.

Goodwill located in Nanuet is convenient on two fronts. You can drop-off items for donation,…read morereceiving a receipt to itemize for taxes. You can also go inside and shop, where they have an assortment of clothes, household items, some tvs and who knows what else you'll see! The parking lot has a strange layout and I recommend parking in the strip of spots on the side of the building for easy entry and exit. Items are priced pretty fairly for the most part, considering it's used merchandise. If sometime seems expensive, don't buy it. All items are tagged with a colored tag and each day offers a discount on items with certain colored tags. E.g. 50 % off Today, I bought 3 things for a Halloween costume, all of which had red tags on a red tag day. To my surprise, all red tagged items were $1. Wow. So, you'll find some great deals if you browse and will even find unique items, novelties, antiques. One of the coolest items I found in great condition a year ago was a blue stuffed kangaroo. It wasn't just any kangaroo. It's a Cheeroo kangaroo from the 1980's! So cool.

Highly recommend for donating items, and checking out items too!

Huge fan of Sierra trading. Prior to discovering this location my orders consisted of everything…read moreonline. Still purchase online from time to time with $89/feee shipping but if it doesn't fit easy enough to return in the store. Located off route 59 it can be a little busy getting there but once in the strip there is ample parking and the store is never busy. Perfect for someone like me who likes to browse or when on a mission- get in and out. For those of you were haven't been to a Sierra picture a Marshall's or TJ Maxx but for outdoor active consumers (owned by same parent company). You can literally find everything from shoes to swimwear to ski gear, shorts and tees. The list goes on and on. Lots of name brands and high quality items. Water bottles, socks, skateboards and I recall seeing a kayak at some point. Point is if you are looking for anything to either wear under or over or by itself within the active bracket come here. You'll find accessories along the way. The store is clean, organized and the staff has always been very friendly. In fact since I've been coming here there are a few loyal workers who have been with me since the beginning. It's always nice to see a familiar face. And if you suddenly get hungry or thirsty or feel the need to go shopping when leaving the store you'll find an Aldi, liquor store, Petco, McDonalds, Chilis add more in the strip which is perfect.

Two cashiers at the register, one manager right next to them, line of 12 people... super long wait…read moreand super slow doing everything. What frustrated me was the lack of care (and attention) for how long the line was. The cashiers didn't even notice, or try to ring items up a bit faster. Manager moved even slower so no help there. The woman that rang me up had to switch registers due to a glitch on the computer- no problem. The speed at which she was moving, problem, because it caused the line to get backed up and people were getting impatient. She assumed my frustration was due to switching to a new register- it wasn't. It was the lack of attention from both cashiers about how quickly the line was building and adapting, aka doing your best to get people in and out. Now I don't know if this was the best they could do or if they were new but this whole experience could have been better. Instead the two cashiers chitchatted about everything under the sun, slowly typed in peoples' emails, slowly asked about signing up for a card, slowly took the tags off, and slowly packed everything into the bag. This is why Sierra has a ton of online orders- too slow when you come into the store which is unfortunate because the store has good stuff. Dear Sierra, please train cashiers to move quickly when lines are long and more importantly, having the awareness to notice that.
