Everything is clean and the workers always ask you if you need help finding something. The parking lot is also big and allows you to maneuver and find parking CONS: Sometimes its hard to speak with the associates because of a language barrier. I'm not going to let that go against the star rating but just keep in mind you may have that difficulty OVERALL: Come here if you need anything that you want in a dollar store. However little 9 year old princess convinced her brother and myself that this store was the place... We relented to her. Alas I havent been in that area much, but I do know that Spring Valley had an itsy bitsy AS. Not anymore people! Apparently they are in place of the huge PathMark that used to be there. Although the "local"s are nosy and pushy (sorry, i speak the truth) the kids heaped up gifts that were really smart and fun. My little princess had to have her "maybe" pile and the little guy was pensive adding numbers and choosing wisely. It did take a while, but I'll tell ya - what a huge selection. We walked out with so much stuff, from make your own jewelry box, hello kitty teddy that opened to a blanket, basketball, school lunch bag with a cool key chain, pens, lip gloss that I am highly considering next years budget to be $10.... Great bang for your buck.

The people who work here are pretty helpful and polite. The store hours change constantly, it's quite tiring to catch up with it. They are usually closed on Saturday, pretty sure about that bit. Fun fact - they don't have "happy birthday" banners. How weird is that. They have everything else, "congratulations", "it's a boy/girl", "merry Christmas", "happy new year" everything! But no happy birthday. They don't carry it all, I heard from one of the employees.

While many mainstay stores have left, they have a few stores still that could make it worth a visit: uniglo, stew Leonard's, LL Bean, etc. The food court upstairs has far fewer options now. The one thing I've always liked about this mall was that it was easy to navigate and hard to get lost in, unlike its sister the Garden State Plaza mall. Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. No tax on most clothes and shoes in NJ so that's always a plus! You won't likely find everything you need here but if that's not an issue, not a bad mall at all.

Today was the day: I was going to go into the beyond, and see the rest of what Paramus Park had to offer. And to be honest, it offered very little. As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! In any case --- it's a decent visit in the "land of malls".

Each person gets two cards for each of the eight rounds with different fun themes, trivia with prizes in between and when you win, you get to pick a hanging basket! Herbal tea and a homemade delicious, soft and chewy cookie by Hunnie's Bakery. Even if you didn't win, everyone went home with a cute little succulent and happy little memories! Lots of cute little things to shop for before and after as well! Highly recommend checking out her events. I can't wait to go to another!

As luck would have it, while going down one of my IG (Instagram) browsing black holes, I came across the IG for Market House! I love, love, loved the posts and all the things that the owner posts so much so, I asked if she had curbside pickup. Not only did she say she could accommodate but she also kindly took pictures of any item I was interested in and gave great suggestions! I ended up buying 2 cute plants and pots which I'm in love with. I put them on my desk and they brighten my mood. The curbside pick up was really great too! Everything from payment to the pickup of the items was completely contactless. She even offers to deliver locally! I greatly appreciate the kindness and respect for contactless service, as well as the wonderful suggestions. 150% a fantastic place to shop.
