Lots of gift bags too. This is a slightly smaller dollar tree than the other one nearby, but it still has mostly all the same stuff. THIS IS THE MOST MIS-MANAGED STORE I HAVE EVER SEEN! ** While the prices are good, the service sucks. They rarely have more than one cashier and the line often reaches 10-15 people; meanwhile the other emplyees are sitting doing nothing. They are untrained and disinterested in doing their jobs. One ridiculous policy is if you pay with $100. bill, they have to call a manager who takes the bill to the office and eventually returns with an OK. This practice means the line stops and nothing happens until the money is appproved! read more

I can always count on The Dollar Tree to have items I need for super cheap. Prices went up a bit but nothing crazy. My dogs did some damage to my doors and I picked up some sandpaper, paint brushes and other necessities for the repair. Great customer service :) read more

Compared to other dollar trees in Seaside and Monterey, this one is large in size and content. The shelves were full and the collection is really wide. Parking is plentiful. Location is excellent next to many restaurants and other businesses. I came around 115 and it had a dozen customers. read more

Yoko, The manager on Duty needs immediate training. I cannot fathom how someone could not have very basic and simple common sense. For some reason, unknown to me a customer was allowed to remove 3-4 bags from the store prior to paying. There was ONE cashier open at the time. A customer who was paying was unable to pay as the card did not pass. The cashier called for help, my assumption was to clear the transaction so he could continue charging the next customers. A few minutes later the customer walks back in, and hands the cashier the 3-4 bags that were previously removed he said he would be right back to pay for it all and left the store. The manager proceeded to count every single item and match it to what was on the register screen. Mind you this occurred for about 5-10 minutes. She not only counted in-front of all of but also used the cashier to help. For 10+ minutes we all waited with no one getting ring up. Her focus was on loss prevention, her concern was that customer potentially stole items. No common sense was used, you stopped the whole stores function, did not use any common sense (if he wanted to steal, since your store let him take 3-4 bags out of the store he could of just left, he would not have brought them back in like he did. Lastly, count the items yourself, keep the flow of your store going. When I left, the line that started with 3 people had 10-12 people waiting because of the "managers" poor decision/management. read more

Love going to Dollar Tree. Everything is $1. Some stuff like greeting cards are even 2 for $1. I get most of my party supplies here. Such as different colored plates, different color napkins & utensils if I'm having a certain theme. Btw these are all organized by color, so makes for easy shopping. We have 3 Dollar Trees in Oxnard. You'll most likely grab more things than you intend to, always happens for me lol. So grab a basket or cart to carry all the cheap goods. I find myself in the seasonal aisle as well, usually right when you walk in or off to the side. They have Candy & snacks! Plenty of it. I grab my favorite boxed candy here if I have a craving. I am diabetic. While exercising yesterday, my sugar dropped dangerously low. I went into this dollar tree to grab some Orange Juice and a bag of assorted Candy. As I'm deciding the candy, a store clerk yells for me to leave my backpack at the door while shopping. I agree thinking that's fair enough. So as I'm walking back to the register yet another clerk yells the same thing to me. To which I agree and confirm that I am walking in the direction towards that command. Manager was very unprofessional. Accused me of shoplifting. Of which they told me not to ever come in the store again. I'll go all the way to the 99 cent store on the Ventura road before I set foot in that store again. read more

This is the worst run Dollar Tree ever. Always have long lines when there are employees just walking around and the only cashier open is always holding personal conversations like there isnt 20 people trying to check out yet refuses to call for another checker. If this is how you run a store, then close it cause the .99 is just right up the street and I will go there from now on. read more

Dollar Tree gets 5 STARS for simply keeping their goal alive- ALL items (in store) are $1. This is good for many reasons. One being, you need nt worry what things cost. Like the 99cent Store, you can find comparable items but you won't pay more than a Buck. The items vary by season sometimes. But you can find food, non-food items. I've been at Dollar Tree stores from here to Highland and find consistency in product but important also is, their Staff are always cheerful and helpful. Want a good deal. Went into the store for cookies, they had a sale tag up for them. So I get the cookies and go stand in their ALWAYS long line. My turn comes up they rang them up for full price. I said there is a tag up for the sale price. The checker goes takes down the tag tells us they won't honor the tag. My husband says out loud I should just go elsewhere. The checker Andy says to him your lucky I'm even ringing you up. My husband says. Keep your cookies and walks away. ANDY TELLS HIM YEAH GET THE F out.. they have no name tags on so I went back in to take his picture and tell them YOU BOYS NEED TO WORK ON YOUR CUSTMOR SERVICE. ANDY SAID OK HAVE A GOOD NIGHT. I love this place is a good place to get some inexpensive items for the home. I really like the selection of spices they have, I always get my garlic there. Very good place to get various holiday decorations if you don't want to spend a ton of money on them. The lines are always long when I go there thus the three star rating, but everything else is pretty decent. read more

Ok, I admit it...I go there for certain items. My favorites are epsom salt, wrapping paper, cotton balls, toothpaste and brushes and kitchen sponges. Am I cheap? My wife forgot her wallet at the checkout counter after making a purchase. When she came back to the store the employee gave it back but there was $80 missing. The manager said they would look into it but we never received any follow up. We have left several messages with the manager and even with the corporate office with no response. Very disappointed in Dollar trees lack of attention to this matter and lack of customer service. Definitely will not be shopping here again! read more
