Well, I DID love this Dollar Tree location. Most of the folks working here are great....or at least fine. Had the worst experience here yesterday. Had $50 worth of things for my mom, my wife had $85 for our own household. When it was my turn I handed my cloth bags to the cashier and she rudely informed me that if I wanted to use my own bags it was fine but I had to pack them myself. Her attitude startled me, but ok. I would have just bought the store bags but she didn't give me the option. By the time I was done unpacking my cart, putting the separator bar down and unpacking my wife's cart there was a huge pile of items. Then the cashier got mad because the 2 orders were separated and demanded to know why, so we explained it was for 2 different households. When I tried paying with my card she pushed a wrong button and then got angry at me because I didn't understand her instructions on what to do because what she was telling me didn't match what was on the screen. Got that sorted out and she got mad because she couldn't start the next order until I got my stuff packed, and by then there were about 5 other large carts in line and she couldn't get anyone else to com check. She was loudly complaining to everyone how she shouldn't be surprised because she had been there for 8 years and it was always like that. After I got my stuff bagged and out of the way I started bagging my wife's stuff and by them she was practically throwing the items and they were bouncing off my arm and going on the floor, etc. This is the second time this same cashier has been incredibly rude to us, and I will no longer go to this location. We have to drive 2 & 1/2 hours for shopping. I'll be going to a different town next time. read more

i know that this post will likely bring happiness to many because unfortunately we live in a world filled will karens and kens who are miserable and love making others feel the same way because misery loves company!! it makes me furious when others discriminate you because of your skin color, appearance, or age! most of the cashiers and managers at the prineville dollar tree are lazy, rude, and racist! i have experienced it twice, the first time, i got in line, waited my turn and after she was done ringing up my stuff i told her to please also ring up 3 ballons, she said there not in your hand so you have to pay for this and get back in line, a sweet lady behind me even said don't make her do that it's only going to take you or her a few seconds to grab the balloons but she still refused. i said forget it, but as i was walking out she said these mexicans always think they can get anything they want, i turned around and told her that i wasn't asking for freebies and walked out! the other incident happened to my son and his friend, they walked in to buy stuff to make a basket and 10 seconds later where kicked out by a karen costumer and the cashier because they were the ones causing ruckus, they were told to leave or the cops were going to be called! the cops for what if they weren't stealing? just because a racist costumer didn't like them?? my son came home very shook up, he said mom we did nothing, we had just walked in, he said there were other teenagers yet only we were kicked out and i know it's because were mexican! come on people it's 2024, remember that we all have the same color blood running through our veins, we all deserve the same treatment and respect!! the racial profiling or just profiling in general needs to stop! if your miserable stay home, and don't judge a book by it's color!! and remember karma never forgets who you are or what you did, what goes around comes around!! read more

Pretty much the best dollar store for .many miles. Great folks and good service. Employees treat customers like they care!

Kinda small - this store. Of course, Prineville is not a large town. I came here looking for glasses cases and didn't find any. Their buck reading glasses are getting uglier all the time, though that is true at all the Dollar Trees. Guess I might have to spring for some more expensive ones when my current supply runs out. The food section is also pretty small - about three aisles of which one is pretty much all candy. I didn't end up buying any thing this time. read more

Great for last minute anything. Esp good on Holiday/Seasonal items!! And if you need Gift Bags, they have So Many, it's hard to make up one's mind!! read more

Smaller location. Extremely busy. What more can you say about a Dollar Tree???

Love this store. Very friendly employees. If you see something buy it, as they run through inventory quickly. The only downfall is a dirty parking lot. So look the other way and go in and shop. read more
