I never thought I'd be leaving a Dollar Tree review but here I am - credit should be given where credit is due. I am a neat freak and I immediately noticed how tidy, clean and organized this store was. It's shocking. Most Dollar Trees are always somewhat messy but I've been to some absolutely horrific messy ones in Florida and LA county. Not only is this such a nicely organized, tidy and clean store....it's also well stocked with a lot of items that other Dollar Trees in SD don't have. I'd guess because they're so organized and tidy...it's easy to see what's low stock and know what to re-order. It was weirdly satisfying walking around this store...it didn't feel like a regular Dollar Tree...it felt like a nice regular store with some good deals. The lady working as well was so sweet and friendly. I mentioned how this was the nicest Dollar Tree I've ever been to and she said they have a really nice manager that treats them really well and likes to keep things clean. I loved that. This location is definitely out of the way for us but we will try to plan to come here instead when possible. read more

Bought a power bank (charger) and it didn't work. Wanted to exchange but manager said it was already open. Of course it was open, how else would I know it didn't work. Bottom line: no refund, no exchange. I know the quality is not the best but at least stand by the product! read more

The cashier here refuses to bag if you bring your own bag. This is the only store that I've been to that won't bag. The cashier Stephanie said she would not bag my items even though all other stores will. It's no longer covid and it's crazy how lazy staff have gotten!! read more

I go to dollar tree store about 3-4 X a week. I will NEVER be back to this location again. I have done several videos of photos of products that I buy to share with my followers on my social media platforms. I only take photos of the products and would never even attempt to take a video of a customer. Manny who claims to be one of the store managers quickly became hostile and threatened me. He said he does not allow customers to take videos . I simply asked him if that was a store wide policy considering I have been to many dollar tree stores and have never been approached in such a hostile way . I did immediately stop taking photos of the products but held my phone in my hand . Manny continued to yell at me and tell me I need to stop recording him. Not only did I show Manny my phone and explained to him that with all do respect, I don't want him any video that I may record . I did inform however that I will continue to hold my phone but I absolutely will not record a video. He continued to accuse me of recording videos . He also threatened me and claimed he would have me escorted out by police . At this point I explained to him that he was now harassing me a (customer) . Last week alone I was at this same location at least 3 other times and have spent over $250 combined. I will never return to this location . No one deserves to be harassed by a manager . Especially a customer. I have contacted the corporate office and am waiting on a call back from the regional manager . Manny is not only unprofessional but also exhibit hostile behavior for no one reason. This behavior was completely un called for . read more

Not surprising , Dollar Tree has some pretty good deals but in smaller sizes. It definitely not Costco but it has its good points. It's great for convenience shopping; they do have major name brands and some "who the hell is this?" This particular store is clean and organized, unlike other locations. I visited here for the first time around Christmas 2020. I was impressed. It was clean and very well organized. I've been back at least twice since. Always clean and nice inside. HOWEVER.... I went in there today when it was a little busy. I grabbed 6 items and noticed 2 registers open. One had a bunch of people but the other had none. I got in that line. The light was on. There was an employee standing there. She looked me directly in my eyes and picked up a stack of bags and walked to the front of the store. She started hanging these bags around the store. Meanwhile a line was forming behind me. She kept avoiding me (and tge rest of the customers behind me) and never once spoke to me. Totally unprofessional. I left my items on her counter and walked out. Not planning on ever going back. If anyone reading happens to be a store manager... your employees need training. read more

Last visit shelves were almost empty, this visit I purchased so much I needed a basket to take to my car, however all their baskets have poles attached so we customers are not able to take it outside, interesting the store right next to them allows their customers to take out shopping carts. So, I left the basket inside since I couldn't take it out and went to get the car and parked near the door to load the car, the dollar tree worker told my son ( a child) we can't park there ,,,, mental health needs to be offered at ALL places at this point, why did the dollar tree worker not address the issue to me an adult? Why is there NO sign up about parking??? When will there be baskets to take out purchases???? Why did the worker then send a youngster working in the store tell me to move my car.. I took about almost 2 minutes to load my items. I informed the youngster to tell the worker/ manager to speak to other adults regarding any issues and NOt my kids. I've been to Many Dollar Tree and like most instances the location makes a difference! Cleanest DT I've been to in a long time! They didn't have as much section as I would have hoped for but it was still amazing!

This location is new within the past 6 months or so and has been helpful for me since. It is in a shopping plaza so it is easy to park and the spots aren't too far away. The store is a decent size, average for a dollar tree so there is a good selection of items. I mostly come here for cards and holiday decorations. They have a great selection of items in their holiday areas and they last a long time or if you don't like to keep the same decorations, they were only $1 so it is easy to pop them in the donate bin. They do have a good amount of household items as well. You can get frames, candles, cleaners and products, beauty items, and more. The staff is always friendly and they can tell you where to get an item and they get you through the cash out line quickly. Overall, I am always happy with everything I get from here when I need to stop by for random items. read more

This place is rude and the way it treats it's customers is completely unprofessional. I walked yesterday with my senior parents to sanitizer they gave us each 2 ok cool thanks. My mom is practically blind my dad is getting there to becoming a disabled senior. I walked in today also with them the same girl at the registered I asked her do they any disinfecting wipes she said no I said ok and walked away. I went n got disinfecting spray that was on the shelf I'll admit I was being a bit petty because the girl recognized me from yesterday and kept rolling her eyes so I bought 14 of them. I always work with disabled seniors at group homes so I will be passing them to them also. But then they really pissdd me off when I went to go purchase regular baby wipes limit 2 ok cool 2 for me 2 for my mom 2 for my dad and the lady says it's 2 per family I was al like we don't even live in the same house hold she said it doesn't matter I was all like u wanna check our Id she said no. They what really pissed me off is that their hiding boxes in the back for just empolyees . An employee that wasn't even working had disinfecting wipes and sanitizers in her hand and they told me their all Out I was all I didn't even ask for sanitizer just wipes basically and she's all Like she purchased it yesterday. So I'm thinking why is paying for it now. So I admit I made a scene because that frustrating like me n my parents don't even live in the same house hold and I work with disabled teens n adults seniors. So I yelled n screamed but I was so mad to see how a person that was told this is for seniors didn't even care about what is possibly going in the world. Then the manger came basicslly kicked us out and was basically smiling and laughing the whole time. I guess lying at this dollar Tree is important. I even told him since ur employee can pre purchase something can I pay for disinfecting wipes sanitizers and baby wipes and come pick them up he said no .
