If you bring in your own container(s), get them weighed/tarred so you don't pay for the containers weight. I highly recommend The Mighty Bin if you're someone who wants to reduce your carbon footprint, keep our earth cleaner, and still get the products you're looking for at about the same price!

THRIFT'ED I guess my…read moreclothes aren't "thrifty" enough to be sold at a thrift shop. I figure, when purging and downsizing or just doing early spring cleaning why not make a buck or two or NONE. They have a system where you scan a QR Code which puts you on a waitlist (on average 45-50m wait) and you don't have to wait in line, they will text you when your spot closes in. Majority people seem to do this regularly as they have these reusable thrift bags or they bring in suitcases of clothes - literally in suitcases. A buyer will go thru your clothes and pick and choose based on trend and what they can sell in their store. You then get store credit or chump change. Is it worth the wait, no. Even if you do sell a few items; it's not much. I've tried it twice - first time I came up with some lunch money on some very expensive clothes that still had their price tag. Second time, I came up with ZERO. This tells me I'm outdated or my style isn't that "thrifty" Gen Z look. Whatever I don't sell I just bring to Goodwill for donations and call it a day!

They have so many cute cloths here, I was blown away with how much inventory they have and how well…read morekept it was. The cloths are a bit on the pricey side for second hand but I appreciate that they buy cloths so I don't mind spending a bit more. They have some fitting rooms in the back so you can try stuff on. All the staff are very friendly. Tips if you are selling them cloths, think about the season that it is/coming up, they tend to buy cloth that will sell fastest. The process of selling cloths was easy, they have a waitlist you can join either online before you show up or you can scan a QR code when you get there to join the waitlist. The waitlist is usually around an hour so I recommend doing it online. If you are not in the store by the time they call your name, they will text you to let you know and you will get bumped down the list. You will get more money for your cloths if you opt to be paid in store credit, otherwise for cash you get like half the price. There is no designated parking, it is all street parking.

Miniso is not so mini after all…read more.. It's a retailer and variety store chain that specializes in household and consumer goods including cosmetics, stationery, toys, and kitchenware that was founded in 2011 in China and has expanded in 100 countries worldwide. Their stores are in 20 US states, with multiple locations in California. Miniso recently had a soft opening in Hillcrest area of San Diego inside the HUB plaza with plenty of free parking. Their website self described as: 'MINISO is based on three core principles: -Affordable high quality: guides our decisions from design to materials. -Joy: the response our customers experience while in our stores. -Lighthearted: the relaxed and happy feeling when encountering the large variety of goods available.' The shop has collaborated with various brands: Barbie, Disney, Sanrio, Harry Potter, Hello Kitty, Minions and others. Every isle has shelves of useful, funny and cool stuff! Some items are necessities and some are for play and fun. This shop offers lots of things I was interested in purchasing for gifting and also to keep for myself. There was a staffer who was helpful, friendly and nice. Overall, it was clean and organized as expected for a new shop. There were items for babies, kids, adults and pets. My pup Fendi and so had fun walking down each isle with wonder and amazement. A wonderful visit, will return and Recommend!

This place has a focus on random toys, some kid cosmetics and beauty, and a snack section. Oddly, easy to miss even when located in the center of Hillcrest's Hub. Walking around brought smiles seeing scanrio, care bear, and other things I use to be into as a child. Easy to buy something because prices were cheap. I settled for some Asian snacks that I thought were unique and fun and haven't tried or not seen at an Asian stores at convoy. Cool spot. Not sure if Hillcrest Hub is the right location for this shop but it brought in curious minds and a very small handful of people.

Time to update my review what with all the new products here at Ralphs in Hillcrest…read more I'm a BIG seltzer drinker. Ralph's probably has the best value that I've found for flavors that I enjoy. Each 12 pack is commonly on sale three for $12. Now summer, and they have my favorite Blue Raspberry variety back on the shelves. Reminiscent of my favorite slushie, the blue raspberry, neon colored drinks that can be found at fast food and gas stations, this one comes with a lot of flavor and no sugar whatsoever. Polar Seltzer is probably my second favorite, and each eight pack can commonly be found on sale three for $12. Let's talk about the deli case! Lots of good food here, but my favorite is their chile relleno. Whether by the piece, or a package set, these babies are a meal among themselves. Delicious, pair them with a salad from the deli case, and now, the option to choose from a variety of fresh made salads right to your left in a refrigerated case. The berry spinach is one of my favorites, and at $6 a great value. Don't forget the fresh roast chickens, turkey breast, ribs and tenders also available hot or cold in this Ralph's store. Sushi too! Bakery muffin 4-packs are favorites in the office. Buy one for yourself;they freeze very well for a couple of weeks. Don't forget the lovely cakes for a party or slices for yourself. Fresh bread, including those from the Cheesecake Factory, La Brea, along with their in-house varieties. Speaking of their in-house varieties, go up the bread aisle and try some of their wholesome Smple Truth breads. Pasta! Try the varieties of gourmet mac and cheese (including a melt -in-your-mouth Gouda variety)I don't think you will be disappointed. Ralphs Private Selection pastas are pretty darn tasty as well, if you want to go that route, pick up some fancy cheese. Their decaf Peruvian ground coffee is terrific. Today I'm going to be trying some Kroger sourdough with sea salt crackers. Sounds delicious and will pair well with my smoked Gouda. Pharmacy services available. Friendly attentive staff. Plenty of parking in a private lot and no fees to park. Great selection of fresh flowers. A florist is on site during regular business hours, I'm not certain if someone is there after 5:00 p.m. Large meat and produce selections with fresh items available for your shopping list.

I popped in for a battery replacement that took mere moments...then, when I discovered the next day…read morethat my entire watch was on the fritz, I came back in hot thinking that the battery replacement had damaged the watch. Mo was a consummate professional, counseling me that the problem had predated the battery replacement, explaining what had caused the current issue, and offering to make a full repair. He then comped my repair because I had (incorrectly!) thought that his battery replacement had caused the damage and he (correctly!) stands by his work. When I realized my mistake and apologized and tried to pay for the repair, he refused to let me and said that he hoped he'd see me again as a customer. I will not only be back, but will share this story with anyone looking for a place that operates with both skill and integrity. This may be a small episode in his business's story, but it's one that will stick with me. Thank you, Mo!
