Nearly every employee we interacted with was rude, dismissive, and acted as though helping customers was an inconvenience. Instead of providing assistance, employees were throwing items around, speaking with an attitude, and treating customers as if they were stupid for asking questions. One employee in particular, James, was incredibly unprofessional. We asked for help with a larger item, and his response was simply "okay" before walking away. After waiting for an extended period of time, he finally returned and proceeded to push past me without so much as an excuse or acknowledgment. It was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. The front-end staff were no better. The cashiers rolled their eyes, gave rude looks, and spoke in a condescending manner throughout the checkout process. As I was placing my items on the counter, the cashier appeared annoyed by my mere presence and acted like serving customers was a burden. Beyond the terrible customer service, the store itself was a mess. The aisles were overcrowded, merchandise was shoved everywhere, and the overall condition of the store felt disorganized and unsanitary. While there may be some good deals, no discount is worth being treated with such disrespect. This was one of the most unpleasant retail experiences I've had, and I will not be returning. Management seriously needs to address both the attitude of its employees and the condition of the store.

This was my second year attending the Farm Chicks show and let me say, this year was better than…read morelast year! If you love to see creativity at it's best, please come to the Farm Chicks show. It just makes for a fun girls weekend. Last year was my first trip to Spokane and it's a much more charming town that I thought. Lots of funky thrift shops here and in Coeur d'Alene (which is barely 30 minutes away). You can take one day for junkin' and one day for the Farm Chicks. It's $6 for both days and bring your camera and a notebook because you'll want to write down all the cute ideas you find. My find of the day at the show was a $10 vintage watch from http://www.athingforroses.blogspot.com/. Be prepared to wait outside for a few to get in - my friend took a picture of the line to get in, which I will try and snag and post. But it's one of those lines where you talk to everyone in it - which makes it fun. Also, I would recommend bringing cash if you are going to buy - not too many places took cards. To which I said, heck yeah! He told me that I had to check out this place called, Jedi Alliance, an arcade with a bunch of old school games. Say no more, I'm in. However, they're only open Friday through Sunday, which makes it difficult for me and my work schedule. Fast forward to today (Sunday), I had the window of opportunity to make the hour drive to Spokane with the hopes that this arcade was all that I dreamt it to be lol. My friend had no idea where we were going and was still confused when we pulled into the parking lot. When we walked in, I got the instant nostalgic old school vibe and feel as it was kinda dim with all the games and machines giving the place a magical glow. "Voltron" greeted us and asked if we've ever been in before and we said no, we're first timers. He was really nice and when he went over the rules, he spoke calmly and read the rules in a speed that we actually understood. Sometimes you go to these game places and when they explain how things work, they either speed talk or mumble. Voltron did a great job giving us the run down and instructions and even gave us some history on the place. The cost is $18 per person with unlimited play from open to close, which I found as a great value because we ended up losing ourselves there for 3 to 4 hours! There's over 140 classic pinball and joystick games, which is outstandingly epic. There's no other place in this area that offers this many games and with the variety of retro classics too. I'm not sure if it's because I'm born in the early 80s, but this place hits the bullseye. I had a blast reminiscing from when I was a kid and I kept hearing my friend say, this is so fun, lol. The bonus is the fact they have a hand washing station, which I definitely used a few times. With all the hands touching the machines, I really appreciate the owner's thoughtfulness. Jedi Alliance has more than just games, they have a museum of retro pop culture movie posters and props, a huge collection of old school dolls, figurines, toys, and games. Some things are for sale and some things are not. Overall, this was one of the best times I've had in quite some time and will definitely be back.

Also you really need to watch what what you buy. A lot of the prices are the same or sometimes more than when purchasing new, especially the groceries.
