This store has quite to offer. My daughter introduced me to this store. I noticed a lot of Costco merchandise sold here for a discounted price. So far, I've purchase a broom, several bermuda shorts and capris, flip flops, 2 curtain rods, 4 blackout curtain panels, small steel dolly, some tops, T-shirts and coconut water. All at discounted prices! They were all great deals honestly. The workers have been nice and helpful. There is not fitting rooms. You may try the clothing at home. You may return for a store credit. If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. The customer service here is some of the worst I have ever experienced. Nearly every employee we interacted with was rude, dismissive, and acted as though helping customers was an inconvenience. Instead of providing assistance, employees were throwing items around, speaking with an attitude, and treating customers as if they were stupid for asking questions. One employee in particular, James, was incredibly unprofessional. We asked for help with a larger item, and his response was simply "okay" before walking away. After waiting for an extended period of time, he finally returned and proceeded to push past me without so much as an excuse or acknowledgment. It was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. The front-end staff were no better. The cashiers rolled their eyes, gave rude looks, and spoke in a condescending manner throughout the checkout process. As I was placing my items on the counter, the cashier appeared annoyed by my mere presence and acted like serving customers was a burden. Beyond the terrible customer service, the store itself was a mess. The aisles were overcrowded, merchandise was shoved everywhere, and the overall condition of the store felt disorganized and unsanitary. While there may be some good deals, no discount is worth being treated with such disrespect. This was one of the most unpleasant retail experiences I've had, and I will not be returning. Let me preface my comments by saying, this is a liquidation center, it's not a department store. It's beneficial to take the time to look for things. They're not always neatly or attractively displayed. Inspect appliances and furniture, etc. closely before buying., You CAN find some great stuff for decent prices. We've been coming to both stores for years and have found some amazing deals. Follow on Facebook for even better deals! There is a couple of things that are consistent; the manager/owner is rude and unhelpful and the staff seem worn out and frustrated (probably due to the individual mentioned previously), but most of them seem helpful. I can't imagine working for that manager. He seems put out if we ask him a question. I'd give the store a higher rating, but that guy could use some customer.service training. read more

This place is great for anyone who likes to find a good deal. It's a bunch of banged-up to near-perfect Costco goodies. I found several shirts for less than $5 and some beautiful decor for my house. If I lived here, I would do my furniture shopping here. They sell food that has damaged boxes or maybe a few pieces missing. The only downfall is that it's sometimes difficult to figure out prices, and it's a bit much - especially if you're navigating the store with a cart. read more

The prices here are a bit weird... majority of the items sold here I can buy brand new at Costco for a few more dollars. Some people might think that's dumb and just buy open box here but what they don't realize is the safety of the warranty and return policy Costco has compared to here. I'd rather sleep better at night knowing I got a product I can return and all the parts and pieces came with it. Over the years the prices have been going up and more junk on the floor. A stained, chipped, and ripped leather sectional should not be $200 less than Costco... that's NOT a good deal boss. There are decent finds here and there but PLEASE do your research and at bare minimum look up the item! There have been times where an open box item was more expensive than a brand new one. I am a person of mixed race by racial. The owners and some of the employees in this place are the rudest and in my opinion racist people. You bring an item up that has a price tag on it and they'll tell you oh that was from the previous people that had it we don't honor that price for the joke. And they'll throw you out I see them throw people out who basically complained about the higher price they wanted to charge yet they don't take the time to take price tags off from another store or whatever. I would never buy cat or dog food from this place I bought it once and it was spoiled. And then if you try to bring it back they'll give you a song and a dance on anything. I haven't had issues with service, but I usually don't ask for help that much. Although I would expect courtesy and help with large cumbersome items (couches, etc) I wouldn't expect much otherwise, it's discount everything...including assistance. Lower your expectations. As another reviewer stated, this is overstock, liquidation, retail returns, etc...don't expect everything to be perfect or even good. Some of the stuff is broken and IMO should be trashed. Okay, having said that... If you're remodeling, a contractor looking for deals on things like fixtures and flooring and you're flexible, then I've found some great deals on quality laminate. faucets, cabinets, the odd light fixture. I also watch for general household/garage odds and ends advertised, compare pricing and usually go for those items specifically. There are other items they'll get in quantity ie gazebos, that had a good brand and reasonable (not overly great) price. I watch for really good deals that meet a need I already have. No impulse buying. In amongst the trashy stuff there are worthwhile deals to be had. Good luck and happy deal hunting. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would, I went there to buy something they had posted on Facebook marketplace and when I got there I didn't get greeted by anyone and I had to search for someone to find the product I was looking for, then when I found someone they were extremely rude saying that it was just self service in a mean tone and just went back on their phone. I had to search for the item and I was there for about 30 minutes before I actually came across what I was looking for. I have been shopping here throughout the years and with the exception of today have had ok service. The place is pretty self explanatory when it comes to pricing and the layout but I've never had an issue when I needed help. Today when I asked about pricing on a couple microwaves same brand different sizes and same price I was asked with a cold stare " what's your point" and was then told after I asked if the pricing was a mistake "that's not my problem take it up with the front desk" when I pointed out again that the prices were the same and then that I needed help due to a shoulder injury. Ah, spokane discount.....there's nowhere else like it! This store is half yard sale, half retail store....it's totally cheap prices with a total lack of customer service! Folks....welcome to the wild west of shopping! If you're like me, you aren't shopping here for their top tier customer service. You are here because the price is right! If you've never been here, you can expect to find a lot of returned items from Costco and Wal-mart. Some are like new and other are.....not....not even close. To be fair, it seems like they are actually trying these days. Staff is still generally unhelpful (although there are some great workers who are very helpful), but at least they've really cleaned up the store. A few years ago, they actually stored all of their excess inventory on site in the valley (most of it outdoors!), which often resulted in weather damaged items. They now have a storage building elsewhere - which makes this place look waaaay less ghetto. When you go in, you have to have a reasonable idea of what these things cost at other stores. If you go in blind, you can get robbed. For example, I was looking for a single pair of leather gloves (the yellow leather ones that costco sells). I happened to know that a pack of 3 at Costco is like $16, however one pair was going for like $12. I've actually seen "like new" belts going for more than the price at Costco. If you do know your general prices, you can get some screaming deals here. It's also an excellent place if you are looking for odds and ends, like a single sheet for your Costco bed or a single piece of tupperware from your Costco set. I placed my list of "best values to date" below to give you an idea of some of the deals that I've found here. Plan on spending a bit longer than normal here if you are looking for these deals. It takes a while to cipher through the clutter to find the deals. Also, make sure to understand the return policy before you buy stuff. Some returns can be 30 days...others no returns at all. I'm sure there's some method to the madness - I'm just not sure what it is. If you have a few minutes to look around, Spokane Discount is an awesome place to check out! Best values to date: Costco leather couch - costco retail $900. Picked up for $360 with some pretty minor scratches on the back. Super nice bed sheets (online retail $110). Picked up for $11.00, with a cut in one of the pillow sheets. This only took a couple minutes to sew shut. Brand New Butterball Turkey Deep Fryer (working) - Costco retail $130. Went in to see if they had floor mats for my car. Even though the guy on the phone said they probably didn't, I still want to check because I had a feeling they might. Sure enough, they had them. Guy on the phone was just too lazy to check. It was the same mats Costco sells. Spokane Discount only had them 1 dollar cheaper. Not a discount store at all if you ask me. And after reading several other reviews, it's obvious this store just scams you. Just go to Costco. You'll pay the same amount and at least it'll be new. This place is the go to spot for inexpensive nice clothes! I love getting shorts and shirts and undies here!! Also, got like a 50 pack of that GOOD GOOD toilet paper there and it lasted like 6 months! Really inexpensive kitchen accessories and appliances! Perfect for moving into an new apartment! TVs, dressers, rugs, towels, my goodness they've got a ton of stuff, really affordably priced!! 10/10 will be back when we need more stuff!! read more

I wrote a review on this several years ago, but it seems to have disappeared! Agree with other reviewer that you have to know your prices or you'll get robbed. What I was disgusted with was that there was a lot of stuff without prices and you have to go up to the register to ask them to ask someone else to find out. After standing in line I was told that the small plates I brought up were the same price or more than I'd spend at Walmart. If you're going to make me work to find out the price you'd better make it worth my while! Did they expect me to haggle? Not. I just walked out. I used to shop in stores like this all of the time when we lived on the west side, but this one put a bad taste in my mouth and I haven't been back even though it's just around the corner. read more

Went shopping. Got home noticed my receipt was saying one price and the others receipt stapled to it said another price. So I went and checked my bank statement. My original price they added two dollars extra to it I called and asked if they charge you for using debit their answer is no I hung up called back again because of curiosity at this point and the lady told me to hold for two seconds and she said oh I see the problem come in and will give you back your money. My question is how did she see the problem when she didn't take any information down not even receipt number nothing. I was literally on the phone for a second she had no other information but I was overcharged on my debit card and it looked cool on the first receipt but the second receipt not so good How many people have they done this to you already two dollars extra. A course this happened in a inconvenient time. Plus I never mentioned the cashier when I had my first encounter with her very strange uncomfortable encounter She was in my space and overly excited which is fine to be excited but a very scary way. People check your receipts check your bank statements. I don't think I will be returning just because of how on organized and unaware people are. This place sucks so badly. I bought two items that were previously used and when I went back there to return them, the person who worked on the register told me that they don't except returns. I asked her that I wanted to talk to the manager and she called the owner. Yesterday, December 26 went shopping at Spokane Discount on Dishman-Mica Rd , have to admit I love finding a good bargain. Unfortunately it will be the last time I shop there. I was treated so rudely by their cashier Yvonne, I won't go back. I bought an awesome chair and she forgot to give me my warranty. When the young man took the chair to my truck and realized I didn't have it he assisted me with Yvonne to get the paper. He pulled the paper from her register and mentioned to her she forgot to give it to me. She went into a tirade at the register calling me a liar! The poor kid explained to her that he just retrieved it from her drawer which caused her to unleash on both of us! Too bad Spokane Discount has Yvonne as their last impression because it really is a cool place to shop. read more

Been to this location at least 7 times. Whether it's with my mother who likes dives a bit more than me or by myself this is a place I go to when I'm looking for something nice, but feeling frugal. AKA.. Costco outlet. From foods to TVs, clothes and accessories, this place has got it. Used to be an old thrift store, cement flooring and the lighting is a bit poor. Only one out of the two fitting rooms has a mirror. I guess they don't sell those. Although my visits with staff have been up and down, hence three stars, my best service was by Dana. She noticed I had little idea about how one fits a dress shirt to an individual properly. She helped me with neck sizes and cuff length. Even grabbed the next size down once while I was in the dressing room. Well and the next size up when I turned out that was what I needed.
