Apparently, the policy changed on 11/27/2022. I was going to return a few things at this location, where I was greeted by a young lady who proceeded to tell me Michael's Policy has always been you can't return clearance and I stated I had not been in the store for awhile, but I was not aware of that. If you actually look to the end of the receipt, the policy is printed on there. I think it was the way the young lady responded that threw me off, she was a little crass. Apparently, I've not tried to return clearance before because it's only been 3-4 months since I stepped into a Michael's. Needless to say, I genuinely like Michael's, I just wish these younger workers weren't so rude in the way they respond to customers.

I went to return some pictures that I had just purchased the day prior, and they had minor marks on them. Because I did not ask for a discount at time purchase for the minor marks that were on the picture, the store manager would not return them. I told him I purchased it like that, but it did not work in customer space. I had my receipt and picture packaging was never opened. He told me to take it back to the store where I purchased it. So, I had to take time to call to the headquarters in order to return the pictures. I guess he was some sort of power trip. Nonetheless, I will not be shopping at the Stafford location. Never had such a horrible experience with a return at Ross.

We noticed the mistake when I was driving back home, we returned to the store to complain about what happened and the manager treated us like we were stealing the items. The manager came to my car to check the bags and said "this is a lot of items for only two bags". How would you feel after that? Of course, anyone would be offended. Then, I took the bags to the store and check the receipt and every item in the bags. She ended up having to returned the money, but said "Not sure how these items 'magically' got in the receipt. Again, insulting me. Corporate office would get a longer email about this manager ( refused to give me her name) and the way she handled this situation. Terrible customer service.

On a number of occasions when that Hallmark didn't have an item I wanted in stock, they would check or call several stores in the surrounding area and ask them to put the item on hold for me. If I ask them to contact me when something is in, they always do so. The store is always clean and nice smelling and the people are always nice and helpful.
