I told him that was not true, I'd checked and he must be referring to refurbished models. I knew that he could sell it in the abundance of retail space he now has for much more. He then said that no one would come there for a sewing machine and said take it or leave it. Yes, I parted with the sewing machine for $30.00 because it was a matter of gas for the week. My 4 yr old granddaughter asked me if we were going to get the sewing machine back and I told her no. She had been begging me to make her school clothes, (which I can't afford), and cried incessantly. I called Pat and asked if he would reconsider the pawn and I'd be back in around 2 weeks, he said bring $38.00 and I could have it back. Long story short, I returned to be told that the price was $50.00 and we never had that conversation. To make matters worse, he told me that he intended to put it on the shelf for $75.00.
