I was so sick, but my electric blanket stopped working, and I couldn't start my fireplace as the…read morewood was too green. I couldn't even talk, because I'd lost my voice coughing. I bought wood, an inhaler, a new blanket, prepared salads and ham for protein. I've barely eaten in days, and it was hard labor trying to stand up. I scanned all my items at the self check out, for $133.67. It asked for my phone number and said pay zero. The register was done, and I moved along. Walmart needed to see the receipt it didn't give me, and it didn't show up on my account, so they held me prisoner trying not to vomit or soil myself, but I couldn't stop the tears from the pain on not being able to go back home to bed. Eventually the manager was able to search the charge by the amount my credit card paid Walmart, and I was allowed to leave. That's messed up.

From somewhere in the shop I hear "Hello!, Wellcome!" bellowed with a bit of a laugh behind it. It was so nice to have everything under one roof. Angie was so helpful and supportive of my diy projects. They even made me a custom table runner. When my friends come to town The Painted Home is our first stop. We always find something. I never make it out of there without a silly card or two. I recently redid some cabinets and Angie suggested milk paint. I had never used it but she assured me it would be easy. It was. I had a few questions during the process and just picked up the phone and she was there with the answers. I call that great service! Can't wait to join a few classes. This is such a cute little store..the 2 ladies are sweet as can be…read more Prices are excellent! The only reason I didn't leave 5*s...the hours. It seems like its closed more than they're open. By the time I get moving in the morning, they're closed for lunch, then they close for the day a couple hours after they return from lunch. Doesn't leave a lot of time to just stop in while out & about. I have to plan on being there at a certain time to allow enough time to shop...I shop for hours as I like to look at everything since I shop for everybody in my family. The store is always clean & organized..I love shopping here, just wish I could more often. Be sure to bring cash or a check...No debit/credit cards accepted.

I took my aunt here recently because a refill for an old prescription from when she lived out here that was going to expire. She had filled my head with visions of an old school, old fashioned independent pharmacy, complete with Hallmark ornaments year round, knock-knacks (or what-nots, if you prefer), candy, etc. etc. etc. We were both so shocked to see that this is a full-fledged Walgreens on the inside, one that you would recognize anywhere in the country. What a shame to have missed out seeing what is now more curiosity than reality. Now for the good parts. In addition to what seems like a complete selection of any big city Walgreens (laid out differently, to be sure) they apparently kept many/most of the employees, all of whom seem to have a smile and exude small town friendliness. I am not exaggerating when I say there were at least 10 pharmacists on duty, at 11am on a weekday, all working faster than at any other pharmacy anywhere. (Top that, any Walgreens in the STL metro) I just wish I could have seen it before it became "Powered by Walgreens."

Found the closest 'Walgreens' via a quick web search and headed to Sullivan. Strauser was apparently affiliated with Walgreens - so we went into to see if there was any way in hell I could get a refill. The kind lady at the pharmacy took my cards and looked me up. She was able to pull an old, unexpired prescription refill and hook me up. She took it and filled it immediately, and I was all set. If you are not familiar with the joys of asthma and respiratory unpleasantries, losing/forgetting/running out of the ol' Albuterol inhaler can be pretty scary. She could probably see that on my face and hopefully realized that she saved the day and entire weekend. Thanks you, Strauser pharmacy.

Flying J is my preferred travel center while on my Road trips, The guy at the counter was friendly as I purchased my coffee. The restroom was fairly clean but due to the amount of users was ready for a touchup. I'll definitely fuel up again next time I'm in the area. The store had tons of quick food items and I bet one could have found something for just about every taste. The parking lot is easy to maneuver around within, even if you had a massive camper or 18 wheeler. The staff was somewhat friendly and offered to help quite a few folks find what they needed. The convenience store had stuff from travel to camping to vehicle repair to home and truck cab decoration.

For some reason she rang them up as $1 each, not $1 for 10. I went back later and was treated like I was a thief. I paid $1 each for 2 screens. That did not matter to the moron behind the counter. A person with a bit higher brain function would have pulled out 5 screens and sent me on my way. DO NOT SHOP at this bogus dispensary of crap.
