This place is really cool as yes... it is highly vintage oriented merchandise but we noticed more artsy and crafty items that were for sale too that were amazingly cool. So that added a further unique spin to this place. Also there was a plant vendor too that sold lots of different kind of little cactuses in various colored shades which further enhanced this place. I saw things of a vintage nature I liked... which were mainly old action figures... that was a lot of fun to browse through checking out all of those!

The Washington Square is a giant mall, about 20 minutes away from downtown Portland. There are departmental store like JC Penny, Macy's, Nordstrom and a huge Dick's store. Few other unique places to me were Din Tai Fung and 85C Bakery Cafe. It's popular destination for tourists' shopping since there's no sales tax. The common spaces are wide, clean and have lots of open sky windows. There are plenty of sitting spots available as well for guests. We were in the mall for about 5 hours. We shopped in the Lego store, Tumi, VS, Dick's, 85C Bakery, and BoxLunch. We had friendly interactions from staff members in the all the stores. We also went to the food court on second floor, which was underwhelming compared to rest of the mall. The dining space had old tiles on the floor, the chair and tables were basic ones. There were 10-12 stores available offering a variety of cuisines. The food was decent from couple of stores we tried. Prices were little bit expensive. Overall we had wonderful half day spent shopping and dining at this mall. There was a good mix of popular and luxurious brands, offering wide range of products. The food court could use some facelift to match with rest of the wonderful interior of the mall.

It's clean, bright, spacious inside. I feel comfortable walking around not crowded. Overall staff were nice at all the stores we went in. The price can range depends on what store you walk in.

Shopping in Tigard, Oregon…read more.. My niece has been to Value Village on "the mainland" in the past. Hawaii doesn't have Value Village... we have Savers. The layout is similar! Thrifting is kind of trendy with the younger generation. It's like they're getting discounted goods and recycling/reusing items instead of filling up the land... I didn't find anything at this time. My niece found some basic long sleeves tops... She's quite practical! I'm glad that she had a happy shopping adventure!

Not much in the way of high end, but plenty of quality mall brand pieces. The bad - the prices are very high, higher than any other thrift store I've been to in the area. As an example, men's button downs range from about $10 for lower quality/condition, to $20 for higher quality, with most around $16. Paying $16 for a J. Crew or Banana Republic or Columbia shirt is a lot, when you can get the same item from some online second hand apps for $6-10 and free or low price shipping. For that reason, I won't return here very often unless I have a long time to dig through everything looking for the rare good deal from a less well known brand.

First of all, their underwear area was a complete disaster the last time I visited. The floor was completely covered in bras, almost piled up to my knees... I was very confused like I must have missed the apocalypse. This time I was able to really see all of the merchandise! It was laid out so nicely on racks. I swear they used to have carpet... all I know is that it was smooth concrete, so easy to walk around and I don't have to dig through things to find my size. This isn't a bin situation. They also rearranged the shoes and the aisles do seem a touch smaller there which, as far as complaints go, that is a small one. It was also nice that their sizes and the way each of the racks are marked seemed way better. I am a sort of odd sizing and ladies, can we discuss for a moment a few key things. Those of us with substantial breasts... why do all clothing manufacturers want to put a billboard of some type on our chest? And since I am a larger size now and older... it's nice that you want to allow us to show off parts but everything is either a tent or I'm practically naked. And, stop making clothing for larger sizes with material that has zero give. I'm going to rip it even just trying it on! I did find several amazing dresses though that were just perfect... showing off the curves without horribly uncomfortable material. You can always tell the trends happening while going down. The line waiting for a register. This season we are into cloth bandages, obnoxious swizzle sticks for your drinks and pickleball which I am so exhausted hearing about.

It's one stop shopping where you can get everything. From fishing rods, furniture, household items to snacks, and apparel too. I was impressed with all the outdoor gear, and the beef jerky too. The store is fully stock with many Christmas dishes, decorations, etc. There were some items for children but not as many as I had hoped for I.e. didn't find many toys. But they did have agent calendars and gingerbread cookie kits. There was a clearance sale of fall items at 90% off and so the cups and pumpkin items were around just over a dollar each. I'm sure it is gone now but it gives me hope for after Christmas.
