There was like a strange less stocked area areas which make me feel like they're not doing that great but overall I went there to find some shorts because I wanted to go in the Jacuzzi at the hotel and they have what I need so nothing else to say besides customer service was really good and so I'm kind of taking back by why this place is rated so low, but my experience is the opposite. read more

I went into the Ross to try to return some pants I got for Christmas that didn't fit and I had the receipt for it. Then when I respectfully asked for a solution, the associates were very rude to me and they told me to leave the store even though they didn't even try to help me out. Another day, another Ross! Sometimes I walk in and everything speaks to me; other days, nada. And sometimes I find just one item, but it's killer. That's what happened today. After making my rounds in the dress and jumpsuit section and not seeing anything at all that I wanted to try on, a rarity, I checked out the kitchen items, housewares, lamps, small furniture. Nothing I hadn't seen before. About to call it a day, I decided to browse through the athletic wear section before heading out the door. There it was! A camo print long sleeve fitted pullover by Under Armour, the same one I saw the other day at a different Ross but they didn't have my size. Today there was just one and it was my size. Even better, it was marked down from $29 to $19. Score! This is exactly why me and others like me regularly stop at Ross, Marshall's, HomeGoods, TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack. There are always gems amongst the racks of goods just waiting to be discovered. Ross at Cascade Station usually has a lot of inventory and is larger and cleaner than other Ross locations. This Ross has an eerie feel. Think a racist thing is going on here. Was in here in summer of 2023'. From the moment walked in was stared down and felt in contempt, by front door security. Have you, never stold anything in life. Meanwhile a black woman (I'm not racist) came out from somewhere and would uncomfortably stare at me. After that the security loss prevention girl moved over to the lingerie section with me and never took her eyes off me. Gave me extreme anxiety. After I left (never felt compelled to buy) the black woman was waiting at the door aggressively saying have a nice night. Haven't been back since. They got a big problem there either paranoia or racism. If the person just walked in they haven't had any time to do anything wrong! Should be able to feel relaxed and welcome here!. The Cedar Hills Beaverton Ross is more chill. I recommend going there. read more

My daughter shops at this store regularly and both her and I have spent a fortune at this store over the years, as it has been a favorite go to spot in the area, much like Marshalls in Tigard. On Monday, July 31st at 8:30pm, my daughter stopped in to purchase doggie pee pads for her chihuahua, a regular purchased item for her at Ross due to the great pricing. As she entered from front doors she could immediately see and hear the store manager (employee) and the security guard (female). The store manager seemed angry to her about something and she could hear him saying he was not going to deal with this today or the boyfriend. She didn't think much about it and the two employees turned and said "welcome in" to which she replied thank you. My daughter picked up a shopping cart and proceeded to the shoe and purse section. The store was very busy with long lines for the cash registers. The store manager (Lukas) approached her and said "you have shopped here before right?" to which my daughter replied "yes" and then he started yelling at her to GET OUT!!! She said excuse me...and he yelled GET OUT NOW!!! She was trying to tell him he must have her confused for someone else and he continued to verbally batter her, talking right over her saying I AM NOT GOING TO DEAL WITH IT TODAY AND TO GET OUT OF THE STORE NOW (yelling) and I AM GOING TO CHARGE YOU WILL TRESPASSING IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE RIGHT NOW AND I WILL CALL THE POLICE ON YOU!!! My daughter was very shaken, humiliated in front of a large gathering at the registers, all staring at her as she was marched out to the store. She left the store in tears and I just found out about this event on Sunday. My daughter is half Persian, so she has dark colored skin and black hair, often confused for hispanic ethnicity. This manager obviously had her confused for someone else and who has a boyfriend apparently. This is racial profiling and defamation to say the least. You do not know who recognized my daughter while standing in line to check out, which this attack would give an appearance that she is a shoplifter or something. We did file a police report with the Beaverton Police Department on Sunday. We are contacting an attorney today for racial profiling and defamation of character in front of her peers. I told my daughter she should have called me while at Ross, because I would have zipped right over and we would have called the police, for sure. I am sure there must be security camera footage, so please preserve it. I am so disgusted and will never spend another dime at Ross!!! My daughter left the store in tears and zipped over to Marshall's and bought the doggy pee pads without a humiliating incident. read more

Really did not have a great experience here. I've been to several Ross stores and while they are the most stress free shopping this was by far the worst. I was there to look for some dresses and there was 3 shelves blocking my dress size. No worker was around so I had to work to move them myself (pictures taken after I moved them). There was random shelving items all throughout the store in the aisles. After I found some dresses I went to the dressing rooms but they were closed. There were some make shift ones in the front and it was a huge mess with so many clothes in there. When I walked out of the dressing room the next person was mad I didn't clean up after myself ( I did, but I certainly didn't bring in all 50 articles of clothing so I left it the way I found it). Then the check out line was chaotic. Not clear where it started. And people were going ever which way. Overall, not great. read more

A truly awful shopping experience. I needed some bright summer clothes and walked through the aisles picking out items. It took me more than 20 minutes and I had quite a pile! I started to head to where the fitting rooms USED to be, tucked away on one side of the store, and they weren't there. I was directed up to the FRONT of the store. There I found TWO fitting rooms, right where everyone comes in and leaves. AND TWO is supposed to be enough for the ENTIRE STORE (all sexes). And you're only allowed to take in FIVE items at a time. I waited several minutes and took the first 5 items from my cart in. I was going to buy one of them and try on the rest but of course by then there was queue of shoppers waiting to use the room and I couldn't feel good about making them wait until I'd finished trying on everything I'd selected. So I gave up the dressing room to the first person in line and left a cart full of items (at least a dozen of which I would likely have bought). I decided it wasn't worth it waiting to pay for only one item, so I left empty-handed. Before I left, I talked to the manager about the lack of fitting rooms and he basically said it's to deter theft and "we don't have enough employees to watch everyone." At the end she said we were going to steal bags because she already asked and we didn't answer. Definitely feels nicer than the one over in Cedar Hills Crossing. Maybe you've seen the meme about [insert store -- it varies] that goes something like "you don't tell the store what you need, the store will tell you?" Yeah, that's how Ross is. Came out of here with some toys for a company toy drive (which is why I went in) + new food dishes for my cats (unnecessary, but they were cute and $3), and a Christmas present for my niece, which was a total score for me because she's a teenager and I always struggle with gifts for the kids once I can't just buy a cute outfit anymore. So multiple things checked off the list, which is cool. The store is well lit, a bit crowded (which I'm assuming is because it's 3 weeks from Christmas) but the displays were neat and well-maintained, the checkout line moved well, etc. Good selection and you just never know what you'll find here that you didn't know you needed. read more

The employees at this location all seem to hate their jobs. I came to return a pair of shoes, which I purchased with my debit card. I had the receipt, but not the card. The employee who claimed to be the manager kept insisting that all she could issue me was a store credit. She then fiddled with the register for a few minutes, "trying to see if she can do anything". I've worked retail, managers always have access to a cash override function, specifically for these scenarios. Given the fact that a debit card used with a PIN is the same thing as cash, this shouldn't have been an issue. There was no need to make this big of a fuss over $30 shoes I had the receipt for. I most recently went in this location to hunt down a dress for the red dress party. I came out with an amazing mat for my cat's box, awesome new sunglasses, sandals and three dresses...not one of which was red. Ross is like that - some days you find everything that fits perfect, looks cute and is your dream. Other days you might strike out but give it a go before you spend twice the coin other places. We even met and bonded with some sweet ladies in the dressing room. There are several things I love looking for here. I always check out sunglasses and usually find the perfect pair for $10 which is perfect since you and I both know you are just going to break the damned things in a few months anyway. I also always look through shoes because I even once found one pair of perfection Calvin Klein heels in my size - the only pair for $25! I have bought sandals, sneakers, boots...you name it. Also, beauty stuff like shampoo, conditioner, face wash, soap...house hold cleaners, candles. Why not buy them all here where you are getting high quality for a fraction of the price you get them at regular retail spots. If I could rate no stars, I absolutely would. I came here the other night to do some shopping as I have done many times in the past, and within like 25-30 minutes of me getting there, I spot an employee making a beeline for me. Once he gets within 5 feet he just stops and says "hi!" The encounter already felt very unnatural, but in an effort to not be rude I smiled and greeted him back before continuing to browse. Except he just stood there and continued to stare at me. He then pulls his phone out and turns away from me to make a phone call. I was suspicious so I stayed within earshot and heard him say "this is so and so from the Ross store in Tigard. I need an officer here ASAP..." which is then followed up by him turning to look at me and saying "she's a Caucasian young female and she's wearing a blue sweatshirt with jeans and has long hair.." He then proceeded to follow me through the store at a distance while continuing to update the police. I became extremely angry that I was being treated like some sort of criminal when I hadn't done anything wrong, so I decided to confront him and ask him what the problem was. When I changed direction and started moving towards him, he immediately panicked and literally jogged away from me. I tried to catch up to him but he ended up disappearing into the back. After this I decided I wasn't going to stick around to deal with the police when I didn't deserve to, so I quickly paid and left (but not without the entire staff staring me down the whole time.) I later found out that police arrived about 30 seconds after I took off. I'm furious that this happened and am still at a loss as to why considering I hadn't stolen anything, I hadn't even put anything near my purse, I wasn't bothering anyone, I was quiet, I'd barely even been there for 30 minutes! I'm angry, insulted, confused, embarrassed, and just all around offended that I would be treated in this way when I've been shopping here for years without a problem. I don't know what on earth they thought I did, but they went about it in the absolute worst way possible and behaved horribly towards me. Being a Ross Dress For Less "addict", I regularly make the rounds at all the Ross stores in the Portland area looking for bargains. It's worthwhile to go to the different locations since each one has different merchandise on hand to look at. Because shoppers are constantly rummaging through the merchandise, some of the stores understandably get a bit messy at times with stuff strewn all over. And, a few of them seem to be perpetually messy. Today, I went to the Ross store on Cascade Avenue near Washington Square and was AMAZED at how orderly most of their merchandise was. Even the towels (which are usually a mess) were all neatly folded, stacked, and arranged by color. The racks of candy (meant to tempt people in line) near the checkout counters were neatly arranged too. This may be the tidiest Ross store I've ever been to. I'm impressed. read more

Had one of the worst experiences at this store. Picked out clothes and went to try them on in accesible fitting rooms at the very front of the store. I wanted to have my partner come with me as I have severe social anxiety and did not want to walk out in front of the employees and customers with different clothes on. The "loss prevention" employee immediately began to raise her voice in front of the entire store screaming "get out of there that's not what the fitting rooms are for!" As much as I would have loved to purchase new clothes from that store I no longer felt comfortable enough to do so. I understand policies but that is no way to treat a customer. Had she have explained calmly store policies or why 2 people are not allowed in a fitting room I may have been more understanding however, she immediately came off as inconsiderate and disrespectful. I guess some people have bad days and don't know how to manage their anger. Probably won't shop there again. read more

I walked in here because my friend wanted to check out some of their dresses and exercise clothes. And 30 minutes later, I walk out of here with 3 dresses and shelling out $50 (poor wallet) This is your typical Ross Dress For Less store - where everything is disheveled and messy. I must say though that many of the employees were very bubbly and full of smiles (this is not typically seen at your Ross stores). Ross was doing a fundraiser event for the Red Cross, if someone who made a little donation while they checked out at the cash register, the employees announced it in the store saying: "We just received a generous donation for the Red Cross, can I get a 'woot woot'?" Then the other employees, security guards and shoppers within the store would respond: "Woot woot!" Kinda cute and funny right? Ross Dress for Less is generally a good place to start but I have to say, this particular store has very little stock on the shelves and not much in the way of kitchenware or even clothing. The store was so bare I actually thought they might be clearing out because they were going out of business. Maybe they haven't recovered from the holiday shopping frenzy? Just like every other Ross in my opinion, but shadowed by Burlington. After I'm done browsing Burlington I'll head over here to see if I can find the things I didn't get at Burlington. Ross are always a gamble, you know what they generally have but it's ever changing. I've come for specific housewares and beauty, each time I wade through the sea of stuff and find just about what I'm looking for. Housewares are pretty great here, surprising I know. But kitchen stuff and knickknacks galore! And such a great price. We found gorgeous Asian themed dishware sets for only 25 each and we nabbed them all. I've found adorable dishware for parties and desserts, perfect for hosting and so reasonable. It's a treasure trove every once in a while here, and the staff is just fine. I like that they have security, it makes this place less of a hurricane than some Ross. read more

NFL!!!!! no f'ckin line. Hey, I hate shopping, sometimes I will walk into a Ross and turn right around outta there, because I see a line snaking around the store. Somewhat earlish-AM on a Sunday. Found some simple killer tops and was in and out in about 45 minutes. 60$. Thanks. Glad there was no line and if the tops last longer than a week I'll be happy. 3 stars for the store and 1 extra star for the amazing customer service. It's hard for me to find clothes in my size, but it's understandable because I am very small. But today they had the jeans nicely stocked in my size so yay! I just can't find dresses that fit me. Really good prices but of course that comes at a cost, the pants often have "fake pockets" which you can't use, and some clothes fabric start to look old after about a year from all the washing. I always enjoy shopping at Ross dress for less. I always find great deals on namebrand items for amazing prices. However customer service goes along way, regardless of how she were amazing the deal might be. This particular Ross has an employee named Ashley or Ashligh (can't remember the spelling) who I found to be extremely rude to customers. She had a very poor attitude and also damaged my merchandise while removing the tag in a very aggressive and careless manner. I'm almost certain this is not the type of employee Ross dress for less wants representing their company. I use to work at Ross and consider it my favorite store. Here what went wrong: I waited as the only person in line for 20m as no manger would help with the broken cash registers and the poor employ was floundering. To follow that I am physically disabled, though I present "typically", the fact that there is no way to get larger items or lots of stuff to your car at once is asinine and totally ableist. multiple trips might not seem like a lot, but as some one chronic dislocations and seizures at the mildest physical stress, it mean seizures and immobility for much of the rest of my day. I am very unhappy with this location, please get carts to go outside for those with disabilities and the elderly at the very least? ( I'm writing this because I have been to many other rosses and they have all had alternatives to help people get their goods and go, so I'm not sure why this location was so dismissive). read more

I could not enjoy my shopping experience because two security guards kept following me around the store. The store was full of other shoppers, yet I was the only one on their radar. I have been shopping here for years and have always had satisfactory service. This store doesn't ever seem to be very well stocked. They used to have a great selection of accessories for electronics but they keep cutting down so now they barely have aything in that department so i have decided to shop elsewhere. read more

Until this past Saturday night, was a regular shopper, spending a few hundred a month for years on clothing , house wares, etc, loved deals on Calvin Klein , John madden and Jones NY. BUT I've chosen to take my $ elsewhere after an attendant asked my to retrieve a hanger I had forgotten to return from a clothes item I was to purchase. She was rude, I told her it was her job not mine. I complained to the cashier and the supervisor, told them in all my years of shopping had never been told to get a hanger - they were both jerks, saying this was a Ross rule, laughed about it. I told then the store was rapidly declining which of course they could care less. I'll never step foot in another Ross ever. read more
