Because they were open until 10pm and I had $14 burning a hole in my pocket. I found a few things that I never knew I always needed, like Fabuloso Tropical Spring (the blue one), Tajin toasted corn that are chili & lime flavor and 3 white plates to go with my decorative plate tier. The store is clean and huge, the shelves are well stocked. II love Dollar Tree. I could spend hours in there. I got my artificial flowers for "place holders" outside until the weather permits planting. They were very real looking and far cheaper than anywhere else. I also stock up on gift bags and tissue for gifts through the year. read more

Its HORRIBLE! Everything is all over the place! Reminds me of a flea market, other dollar tree's are not this bad at all! there is garbage out front overflowing the trash can all the time! baskets are all over the lot! When I needed Christmas cards, I picked up 40 beautiful, photo-frame cards for $4. Wasabi rice snacks? $1 a bag. Giant frozen burrito? $1. The Dollar Tree Store #2598 in Tinley Park has become the filthiest store I have ever shopped at. Granted products are great but shelves are dirty and the bathroom is dirtier than a porta potty in a outdoor area. Today an elderly lady using the bathroom had to call for help as there was no tissue in the bathroom. Day management is non existent. Long lines are standard. I don't know how this store stays in business!! They won't take returns you have to do an even exchange even though the Dollar Tree in Homewood will take returns!! Also I bought a birthday card and a Valentine card today. Signs above both kinds of cards listed them at 2/$1.00. When I got to the check out I was charged $1.00 for one and .$50 for the other. There was a line behind me and the cashier had an attitude so I just paid and left. I won't be shopping there again.!! read more

This is by far THE BEST dollar store I have ever been in!! They have SO MUCH STUFF!! They have a frozen food section!! And if you are planing a party this is definitely the place to go!! They have everything that you need there! Decorations, table cloths Balloons! If you have a birthday party to go t,o go here for wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper, cards. Their variety of items are very large. Way bigger then any other Dollar Tree i have ever been in. i live about a half hour from here and I dont care I will keep going to this one very often! I like this location the most. I like the selection they have. I usually have a good experience. Today the store was a mess at 10am. I used the bathroom for the first time. I think it is one of the worst bathroom I've ever seen. Disgusting. I should have taken pictures. The cashier was awful too. The people in front and back of me noticed her bad attitude. I work as a cashier, I would be fired for that kind of behavior. I think they should get a new manager and make the store nice again. I know exactly what needs to be done! read more

Place is a dump. The last few times I've been in there everything is just thrown around. Boxes in aisles but nothing put away. One cashier so the line is super long. I walked right back out! I would not even give this store half a star. It was the worst experience I have ever had. While in line to check out the cashier, the manager Kyle, gave incorrect change. When I asked for my change, he looked at me and still wouldn't give it to me. When he finally did he gave it to me, he gave me change in pennies. I asked him if he treated all of his customers like this and he said "no." He then walked away from me, without giving me a receipt. I asked him for my receipt and he proceeded to dig through the trash can looking for it. He re-rung my items and gave me a receipt. When I asked him for his store manager name or store information he told me to "google it" and walked away. He was rude and unprofessional. The dollar tree i went yesterday located 16199 S Harlem Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477. the cashier was extremely rude . I handed her change she refused to take it and refuse to count it , I told her how much they were and asked her to double count the change i gave her. She still refused and start yelling at me and tell me i am 60 year old lady talk to me with respect even though i didn't do anything for her , and then she was yelling and lieing saying i am treating her like a dog . I told her i never said anything bad to her all what i said to double count the change and i asked for manager. The manager was there she was laughing and she said just do what the cashier told you to do and she didn't solve the issue. when i said i will complain about not having any good customer service she said go a head and show me her name tag and told me tell them my name is Mrs Jackson. I LOVE the Dollar Tree! They have some Disney products for only $1. Everything is $1 at this store! If you're throwing a party this is the cheapest place to shop. I wouldn't shop for toys, or head phones. The products are cheap because they break easily. I would purchase throw away products though :) read more
