Worst store in the city, not a great store to get a job at. Very unprofessional and they don't care about anyone but themselves..

As much as I loved the whole "with my mom back in the early 2000s in a department store " vibe, I…read moredid not really enjoy my shopping experience here as an adult with my own child. I visited the store early August and was immediately hit with the lack of relief from the humidity outside while walking inside, it was just as hot, with absolutely no sign of air-conditioning and no fresh air - just really stagnant thick air ,feeling like I was in a warehouse with no power on, for sure.. I didn't find the store to be very organized. I have visited a few different Ollies and this one feels the least organized with a lot of randomness and slight organization, coupling like items in the same aisles, but no real sense of direction. No guidance via signage and if you haven't been there, you're kind of just walking around surprising yourself at what you might find. On top of the heat/thick air, I also found it very uncomfortable when I had to use the restroom. I was immediately hit with not a good smell and the facility itself didn't feel as clean and up-to-date as I would expect in 2026. There are some good deals there but nothing worth going out the way for in after I did just that today lol It didn't feel worth it for the trade off of buying things at. "Bargain" . Nothing was that great of a deal and I'd rather have paid a little more for more options and a better more comfortable experience. I am Not sure what's going on but it was obvious that the store is on the way out. It's August. why isn't your air-conditioning on??????I literally almost left before even paying it was hot and uncomfortable to be in there

While this Dollar Tree seems so pointless, it ended up being so useful!…read moreIronically, I saved one dollar coming here. If you are unfamiliar with it, Dollar Tree (which ironically is a department store?? More like Discount Store, Yelp!) is a large chain of discount stores with everything being (you guessed it) $1 or less. It is also the only large chain with everything being $1 or less, currently (the One Dollar Zone hasn't become popular enough to categorize it as a "large chain"). The other stores with "Dollar" in the name, like Family Dollar and Dollar General, are also discount stores but do not sell everything for a dollar. Dollar Tree opened in this small location in the RK Stop&Shop Plaza a short bit over a year ago, when CVS moved out and into a larger spot right across from Walgreens. While the space isn't huge, this store has a great stock and is extremely organized. I love shopping at Dollar Tree for specific items and seasonal items. Sure, there are definitely some things you should avoid purchasing here (besides candy, I don't trust any food from here, and some cleaning products just don't work), but there are a ton of great items that are 50% or lower than Stop&Shop, Walmart or another large department store. Candy is the best value, and storage containers and iPhone products tale behind. The only item that isn't in a normal location is the Charms Blow Pops, which are in the very back of the store instead of the candy aisle. While the Woonsocket location is alright, it's so worth just driving the two minutes to this store to not have to pay tax on food / sweets. I saved over a dollar! iPhone screen protectors are also something I suggest from Dollar Tree. This specific store has friendly employees and parking right outside too!

We took a quickie spin down the bizarre-looking Cato side street & winded up with convenient parking & an extremely spacious and well stocked 'lil market. I -LOVE- their product section. So many inexpensive, fresh choices. Bok choy for $1.49? Mint, cilantro and basil for .99 cents? Seriously?! ....I winded up getting nothing I originally went in for after checking out their tea/beverage section. DIY boba-tea was calling my name. I also found my absolutely favourite pear/apple Korean BBQ sauce that even Asiana doesn't appear to carry anymore. Super psyched. Toward the front there was also an extremely gracious array of prepared, tasty looking treats. It is worth noting that they primarily carry southeast Asian grub so if you're looking to fix up a plate of Som Tam or Pad Thai you're in the right place. Oden or (Japanese) ramen? Not so much. The owners are extremely friendly (the name, people, the name!) and since the last review in 2011, I do believe they accept credit now. (I spied a card processor on the counter but paid in cash.) SO going back.
