I was a new patient for an annual routine cleaning and checkup. I was nervous before I went to my first appointment as I wasn't sure that I had made the right decision to have chosen DMD Dentistry. But even before I left there, I knew I had made a good judgement call after having poured over hundreds of reviews of dental practices in this DMV metropolitan area. I was in awe of their high quality care and team efforts treating this new patient beginning from Mona at the front desk. I could tell she's conscientious and detail oriented. She verified the spelling of my email written in chicken scratch just to be sure she read it correctly for their record. The Assistant Hygienist, Shafiga, not just led me into the room, comfortably situated, but she took the x-rays, showing me how to identify the sets of images of the teeth just being x-rayed, running in and out coordinating with the front desk and the dentist making sure everything is in order for the dentist's exam. Yet, she looks so easy-going, genuinely enjoying what she does, and warmly engaging with the patients. Most impressive to me is the dentist himself, Dr. Elamin, whose personable and friendly chair-side manner is absolutely first-class, my very first such encounter in my long residency here near McLean. He didn't just ask me questions after he had already read the forms I had filled out, he answered my questions and explained in details as he pointed at the images of my teeth shown on the screen. What work needs to be done and why. He didn't try to oversell upfront just to make more profit in the immediate future. To me, he's not just a dentist simply performing his work, he cares about this patient's tooth health enough to educate me. I learned so much about my own teeth I never knew before in this one visit alone. The dental hygienist, Jhonathan, did such a conscientious and thorough job of cleaning, he even pointed out simultaneously which teeth have more stain than others, what type of mouth wash he would recommend me to use, and how I could do a better job cleaning them. Last but not the least, I have to say that it was breathtaking to see the advanced dental technology and equipment that DMD Dentistry employs in taking care of their patients' teeth. First time I've ever seen a dentistry practice does this. No question DMD Dentistry is ahead of its competitors anywhere. I'm so glad that I chose DMD Dentistry. read more

Until recently, I thought all dentists, hygienists, and dental treatments were the same. I was so wrong. Dolley Madison Dentistry is the best dental experience I have ever had. Because of a cross-country move, a pregnancy, and a delivery, I had gone more than a year between cleanings, and my teeth had a lot of build-up. Lori - my hygienist - was thorough, gentle, and explained each stage of my cleaning. She also used a special instrument to break-up a lot of my build-up, so that the cleaning could be quicker, easier, and more thorough. She also helped me understand what to expect the next time. Dr. Wiltbank is professional, intelligent, and personable. I trust him with my teeth. I've been to about seven different dentists, and he is my favorite. One of the dentists I saw before him made me bleed a lot when he checked my gums, but Dr. Wiltbank was so gentle that I didn't have any pain or bleeding during my exam. Dr. Wiltbank is an excellent dentist. He is extremely warm and friendly. Both of my sons enjoy going to the dentist because of Dr. Wiltbank. My younger son tends to get nervous in new situations. I started bringing him to Dr. Wiltbank when he was one year old to get him used to visiting the dentist. When he was old enough for his first cleaning, he happily sat in the chair by himself while I got my teeth cleaned in another room. It is important to me that I go to a dentist who I can trust. I feel that Dr. Wiltbank is completely trustworthy. He seems to place my dental health and my children's dental health at the top of his list. Dr. Wiltbank is the best dentist I have ever had. He is super gentle. I couldn't even feel the injections he gave me. Dr. Wiltbank also helped develop a nightguard for me that eventually reversed the effects of my TMJ. It is also clear that he reinvests in his practice. Many dentists will stick with outdated equipment in order to save money as they get closer to retirement. Dr. Wiltbank has some of the coolest dental gadgets I have seen. To top it all off, Dr. Wilbank is fun to talk to. He is funny and also well-informed in a variety of topics that allow him to relate to almost anyone. They are extremely competent in all areas: front desk service, appointments and such; suggestions about how to take better care of your teeth; if surgery is needed, Dr. Willtbank explains clearly what is needed, answers all your questions and is VERY caring about every aspect of the work. By far this practice has been the best experience that I've had with a dentist. The entire staff are wonderful. Dr. Wiltbank has amazing bedside manner that I have yet to experience with a dentist. The office has been updated and remodeled very nicely and most importantly with dental technology equipment that is useful for patients (computer screens with video, pictures, etc). The administrative staff now file your claims even if the office does not participate in your medical insurance plan. The dental assistant and hygienists are extremely professional and the entire staff are genuinely friendly, kind and welcoming. This office and Dr. Wiltbank are outstanding. read more

Dr. Wiltbank did a wonderful job fixing my smile. I had been grinding my teeth for years and had caused a lot of problems. My smile and teeth were short and that affected my confidence as well. Dr. Wiltbank is a wonderful dentist. He's compassionate, caring, honest and and just plain GOOD! He doesn't try to sell you a procedure you don't need. He takes the conservative approach when he can. I like that he does almost all of my procedures, including root canals and implants. I've only been referred to an endodontist a few times for tricky root canals...and luckily he's in the same building...one stop shopping!!! :-) His staff is friendly and helpful and his hygienists are awesome! We were worried when the practice was sold but gave Dr. Wiltbank a try. Wow! Friendly staff and service. Everything is explained. We had our kids at a pediatric dentist for the early years of their life but switched to bringing them to Dolly Madison Dentistry after we realized what a great practice it was. Now we all come together. Not just cleanings, Invisalign and various surgical procedures, all in the same place and they handle the insurance claims. Noticeable office/equipment upgrades.
