They said it was the cooling fan that needed to be replaced. I know how to do some basic repairs I decided to replace the cooling fan myself after replacing the engine is still overheating even with the fan working. At first the fan wasn't working so it would not cool the radiator fan so I if that was the issue now that the fan is working and cooling I'm not or somethings wrong with still heating up. I asked him to re-diagnosis and instead of re-diagnosing they just gave me my money back and sent me to another shop 20 miles away left me on my own to figure it out cause I'm I can't move my car more than 2 miles with the overheating. I would not recommend the shop at all to anybody and they were gonna overcharge me $600 to put in a fan that only cost 200 and the labor shouldn't be any more than 200.

We called Black Mountian Automotive and with out hesitation they had a tow truck on the road and got us with in 20 minutes of hanging up. They took us back to the store and repaired our car and sent us on our way. While we were in the store we had the chance to talk to the kind woman behind the counter and met her dog Winn-Dixie! They allowed us to bring our dog inside as well. They stayed open to finish our repair and make sure we were all okay. We also got to buy some earrings that the owners mother made! Everything about our experience with this shop was excellent and I highly recommend calling them if you are ever in a bind.

When I asked them why it was gonna cost that much they said it was because the part was a little more than they thought but was still around $600 for the part and couldn't tell me still why it was adding up to almost 3,000 dollars. I got a quote at Honda what it would be to fix my car and they gave me a quote for 1,000 for labor and part. Don't take your car here if you want to wait weeks on end and spend 2,000 dollars for labor.

Took my car there in December of last year. I had a radiator leak fixed and got an oil change…read more January 1st, my car died. Come to find out, the oil filter came off and my engine locked up. I get it, stuff happens. Went a couple of months not being able to get them to look at it. I wrote a bad review. FINALLY got the owner to return a call. I agreed to take the post down and was nice enough to give him until June to check it out and fix it, because I was in a treatment center and couldn't drive anyway. Have yet to hear a word from him. I ended up selling my car for $2000 (Blue book was $8500 before they "fixed it"). Tried to hire a lawyer to sue him but I guess it's too hard to prove, which he obviously knows. You should let the fact that you have to leave a message to actually talk to anyone be your first warning.
